The Juxtaposition of Spiritual Ambition

Spiritual Ambition is humanity’s inner quest to experience its divine nature. It came to me with profound clarity – a full body YES – these two words that seemingly shouldn’t work together, answered the deep question I’ve held about the tireless inner propeller directing my life. This consistent inside driver sometimes surges like lightning, and other times emerges gently, like a butterfly breaking free from its chrysalis.

Many of us are aware of the trap of pursuing external happiness. Our ego convinces us that fulfillment lies in the physical world – the lover, the career, the house, the car. We get a momentary “hit” from each accomplishment, only to plummet back into that gaping void of discontent. On auto-pilot, we draw new lines in the sand, setting our sights on the NEXT “thing” and expecting different results. This pattern, once labeled “the mid-life crisis,” now manifests in people of all ages – from teenagers to those in their 20s and 30s.

What’s really going on?

The truth is, what we’re all REALLY seeking is the divine – not some mythical figure with a long beard and staff, but rather the visceral knowledge that we are extensions of life itself. We yearn to understand the transcendent part of our nature that exists beyond space and time, that lives and plays in a dimension beyond the advertised struggles of the human condition.

It’s our Spiritual Ambition that keeps our soul on track to fulfill its highest purpose. Like it or not, it’s responsible for the breakdowns and breakthroughs, disassembling the patterns and programs that have our essence on lockdown. Second, when we participate consciously, allowing the release and shedding of everything false, we naturally rise in frequency, reside in our True nature – which is love – and allow our inherent gifts to bloom and serve a greater purpose within the whole. 

In my own life, Spiritual Ambition explained what logic couldn’t: marrying someone I met online after just 30 days, enrolling in a spiritual psychology master’s program despite my profession in hospitality, and then collaborating with the universally arranged relocation to the jungle of the Costa Rican rainforest. These seemingly illogical choices were not only responses to something deeper, they were catalysts for the powerful innate desire to be Awake on the planet today.

To nurture this unfolding divine code, a sacred space of reverence is needed to explore three key pillars:

• Freedom from the Comfort Cage – UN-Comfort-Able: The courage to detach from safety, security, comfort, and control to pursue your life’s work and align with your soul.
• Connect with your Higher Self: The practice of tapping into your own limitless source of wisdom and power.
• Celebration of Love’s Alchemy: The sacred celebration for All of Life, and the alchemical nature of love to transform everything in our human experience, to wisdom.

Spiritual Ambition is our conscious awareness and intentional participation in the unfolding possibilities of our dynamic, self-propelling inner code. It’s the intentional liberation of the Soul.

And it’s inevitable.
