Awakening to the Truth

This past weekend was spent celebrating my twin granddaughters’ high school graduation. As a news junky, it took some serious arm-twisting to stay disconnected for almost forty-eight hours, especially with all the goings on in the world. When I tuned back in and heard what was happening in L.A., it was not only distressing but heartbreaking.

As always, my spiritual antenna began working overtime. I sat down to meditate, asking my Higher Consciousness a whole lotta questions: Why is this happening? What are the lessons? The deeper spiritual truths? The Big Picture? What am I supposed to be doing?

Instantly, I was shown a clear image of a playground slide. A small child zoomed down, landed on the sand, and got back up to do it again—over and over and over.

When I asked what that imagery meant, I was told that humanity is repeatedly going down a slide, but it always gets back up, climbs those stairs, and does it again. We don’t like to be down in the sand, yet we continue, even though we could choose to stop at any time.

I was reminded of another metaphor I received decades ago when trying to understand the mechanisms of life. I was shown an image of Tarzan swinging from vine to vine as he soared through the jungle. I was told that, in order to get to the next vine, Tarzan had to swing backward to gain momentum.

Thus, it may appear we are going backwards, but, like Tarzan, we are just gaining inertia to get to that next vine.  And, the truth is, there is no backward.

The Future Awaits

Scores of young people graduating from high school have been through a lot in their 18 years on this planet—a pandemic, environmental catastrophes, political upheavals, and democracy in peril. As this administration is shaking everything up again, I sense that this generation is being inspired and motivated to help the world dramatically.  

As my meditation deepened, I was reminded to channel my outrage into sacred, loving action. I was reminded to hold everyone, both sides, in a place of compassion. I was reminded not to let the clamor of politics distract from what truly matters. I was reminded to stay anchored to the vision of a world where nothing like this can ever thrive again.

Of course, I asked what was collectively being “mirrored,” the Higher Consciousness lessons being shoved in our face.

The issue of territoriality came to me, the notion that certain areas (countries in this case) are only allowed to be inhabited by certain people. I know it’s a far more complex issue, but wouldn’t it be nice if people could just live where they want no matter their country of origin?

That notion boils down to a simple issue: Acceptance.

If we could just accept the “differences” of others by seeing our mirrors, what an amazing world this would be. The American motto proudly proclaims acceptance of “…those tired huddled masses yearning to be free…” but seems those words are challenged daily.  

Energetic Shifts

This moment goes beyond taking sides. There is a massive energetic shift that’s been happening slowly for decades. It’s quickening and, in fact, is peaking. It’s a multi-level clash between secrecy, distortion, and lies versus openness, exposure, and truth. It’s between those trying to coerce, control, and conquer and those who have chosen to be here as a vessel for collective healing, connecting, and awakening.

Our internal spiritual need for truth can no longer be suppressed. The good news is that the more truth is pushed down, the more it rises to the surface. The pressure to prevent exposing what has long been concealed—whether it’s our collective history, actions, or lies—is no longer working.

The truth sets us free in big ways by releasing that pent-up energy we didn’t even realize we were carrying around.

Those attempting to stop this shift are terrified, not because of what is being exposed, but because they know that humanity is waking up. Their old methods of control no longer work.

Our collective consciousness holds a Higher level of truth. Once we awaken to that truth, nothing can stop the surge because it is no longer acceptable. It’s like discovering that your partner is lying to you. Not only will you never believe them again, but finding out the truth is healing and liberating. Plus, your sense of self-worth—what you will not accept for yourself any longer—skyrockets.

What Can We Do?

Our role as aware beings is to speak what others are afraid to voice. Each truth uttered will further crack the surface of what has already started to break through the hardened cement of lies.

We must remember to come from love and root ourselves in integrity. To counter the lie that we are all different. To dismantle what has been hidden by becoming so aligned that truth must now come into the light. Lies cannot survive in our energy.

Yes, many are repeatedly going down that slide, but just as many are getting back up, knowing they don’t have to do it again.

This noisy chaos is leading to the transformation of the world. We are not going backward but gaining momentum to reach that next vine.

This necessary shakeup is waking us up more each day. Yes, it’s painful, but as I always say, Higher Consciousness does whatever works to reach us.

Know that it’s all happening so we can finally remember who we truly are.
