Channel of Light: How Forgiveness Opened a Door to Another Dimension – An Interview with Juan de la Luz
Maestro Juan de la Luz is a spiritual guide and channel of quantum physics devoted to awakening human consciousness through healing, cellular reprogramming, and experiential work with the quantum field (the ‘quantum void’). His work puts multidimensionality into practice—drawing on concepts from quantum physics—so people can access higher-frequency states, connect with their guides, receive guidance, and become their own channels of light. Have you ever gone through something that felt like it was breaking you… only to realize later it was waking you up?
That’s the space this conversation opens.
Sitting with Juan de la Luz felt less like an interview and more like witnessing someone share what he has truly lived — deep loss, forgiveness, and an awakening that reshaped his life from the inside out. As you read, you may find yourself reflecting on your own turning points and the moments that quietly changed you.
We explore quantum initiation, becoming your own channel, and what it really means to look inward for transformation. More than anything, this is an invitation to listen to your own story with new clarity.

I want to share with our audience that today we’re speaking with Maestro Juan de la Luz, who speaks Spanish. And Laura Conde is with us as a team member and a wonderful translator. Thank you both for being here.
I’d love to begin with your own story, Juan—your awakening into consciousness, mindfulness, and spirituality. I always like to start by going back to childhood. Did you grow up with any kind of faith or spiritual experience as a young person?
Juan de la Luz: Thank you. When Juan was fifteen years old, something very important happened—a deep process of forgiveness that opened the door to direct communication with beings of light. But this began much earlier, when he was seven.
When he was a child, his father would come home each day and honk the car so Juan could open the garage. One afternoon, the neighbor who lived next door was arguing with Juan’s father. His father told him, “Go inside and wait.” Juan went in, but because he had never witnessed something like this before, he stayed near the door, looking through a small opening.
As his father was getting into the car, the neighbor pulled out a gun and shot him in the head. Juan witnessed the entire moment through that small opening. When he ran outside, his father was already dead in the car, which had crashed into a tree.
After this, everything in his life changed. His father had owned businesses and supported the family, but his mother had been a homemaker and had no experience managing finances or work. The neighbor was arrested, but only one month later, Juan saw him return—free—and living next door again.
This created enormous anger and hatred inside him. For eight years, Juan lived with deep darkness and very low-vibrational emotions. He began swimming to try to release and transform this energy. While swimming, he and a friend made a plan to kill the man who had murdered his father.
Juan didn’t only lose his father—he lost his home, his security, and everything he had known. From one moment to the next, his entire life disappeared.
One week before the planned act of revenge, when Juan was fifteen, his body suddenly collapsed. He developed a very high fever, began vomiting, and had severe diarrhea—it felt as though his entire body was exploding. That night, something shifted. He went inward and realized, This is what I am doing to myself.
Instead of acting on the plan, he felt compelled to find the man—not to kill him, but to speak the truth. He went to the man’s house and told him everything: what had happened, what his family had gone through, and how deeply this pain had shaped his life.
The man fell to his knees and asked for forgiveness. Juan told him he wasn’t there to cause pain, but to forgive him. He said this experience had been a gift—one that taught him the power of forgiveness and inner transformation. He told the man, “You are my teacher, because through you I have learned forgiveness.”
The man offered him money and material help, but Juan refused. He told him, “You have already fulfilled your purpose.” That was enough.
Six months later, when Juan was fifteen and a half, he walked each day through his old neighborhood on the way to the swimming pool. He often passed a small park that reminded him of his childhood happiness. One day, a woman approached him and said, “My name is Mary. You have passed a test, and I am here to teach you something very important.”
She told him she would teach him how to help people transcend unconscious memories formed between the time they were in the womb and seven years old—memories stored in the unconscious mind that people cannot access on their own. At the time, doctors used hypnosis to guide people back to those early stages, but she explained that hypnosis opens many channels and dimensions. She was there to teach him a simpler, more direct way.
For six months, Juan received teachings from her. He never questioned them. He felt this knowledge was a gift—especially after having gone from wanting to kill someone to now being called to help others heal their inner child. He understood that the man who killed his father was also carrying unresolved wounds from his own early life.
I’m so interested in this. You were only fifteen years old. How did you even have the context to understand or process all of this? Most fifteen-year-olds today are playing video games or scrolling on their phones. How were you able to take this in?
Juan de la Luz: He wasn’t thinking—he was feeling. He felt gratitude for the experience. And it’s important to add that after losing his father and all material security, Juan had to begin working at a very young age to help support his family. That responsibility matured him quickly and shaped the depth from which he lived and felt.

Amazing. Now, you’re talking about encounters with interdimensional beings. Did that happen while you were being trained by her, or at a different time?
Juan de la Luz: This continues directly from that story. After the first three months of María’s teaching, Juan began practicing therapy with people. Then, after six months from their first encounter, María simply disappeared. She never came back to the park.
For the next six months, Juan went to the park every single day looking for her—but she was never there.
One day, another being appeared and said, “My name is John.” Juan immediately asked, “Where is María?”
John responded by asking him a question instead: “Have you put into action the information María gave you?”
Juan said yes.
John told him, “We have been watching you.” Juan asked, “If you can see me, why can’t I see you?”
At that moment, John took him to a large tree in the park and opened what looked like a massive screen in front of him—almost like a giant television. He showed him the planet we live on, the Milky Way, the universe, and multiple universes.
Juan wasn’t thinking—he was feeling.
John explained that they come from other dimensions and guide people who are ready to receive this information. He told Juan that he had been chosen. Then he added something more: because Juan had followed María’s teachings so precisely, when he turned twenty-one, they would prepare him so they would no longer need to come in physical form. Instead, Juan would become a channel—helping people elevate their frequency and access other dimensions so they could connect directly.
When all of this was happening, were you telling your mom or your friends? Or were you keeping this to yourself?
Juan de la Luz: No, because no one would have believed him. He kept it to himself for many years.
It wasn’t until 2000, when Lee Carroll began speaking publicly about Kryon and channeling, and later, when What the Bleep Do We Know!? came out, that Juan realized the world was finally beginning to talk about what he had known all along. Only then did he start to open up.
Before that, he offered therapies only to people he felt were ready to receive them. He didn’t explain everything—he simply felt resonance and worked quietly.
Following the story, came what he calls his twenty-first birthday gift.
He was doing a therapy session with a friend who had a lot of conflict with his mother. His mother was actually a loving woman, but there was a deep rejection that the friend couldn’t understand. Juan guided him into a relaxed state and took him back to the womb—just as María had taught him.
During the session, something happened that had never occurred before. His friend began describing how his mother had tried to abort him while she was pregnant. Juan told him, “Please forgive her. She is an instrument for you to practice forgiveness.”
When forgiveness happened in that moment, the friend experienced his own birth—and outside the womb, an angel waited.
Juan asked him to ask the angel why it was there. The answer came clearly: it was Archangel Gabriel, announcing that from that day forward, Juan would be prepared—through three days and three nights of energetic work at the cellular level—to fulfill the work John (his guide) had spoken of.
From that moment on, Juan began working consciously with the frequency of his voice—using sound to guide people into multidimensional states. In those spaces, people could remember their purpose, recognize their innate gifts, and begin healing unconscious memories.
Through this work, people could also begin to shift patterns stored in their DNA, affecting behaviors and illnesses, and even close cycles from other lives by resolving energetic connections with people they encounter in this one.

My goodness. I feel like I just stepped into a movie for a moment. That was incredible. I’m curious—at what point did you transition from a more traditional career? I believe you worked in telecommunications at one point. How did you move from that world into this healing work? And do you do this full-time now, or are you still involved in other things?
Juan de la Luz: Juan continued offering these therapies from the time he was fifteen. Throughout his life, he never stopped—because for him, it was a blessing to serve his purpose in this way.
At the same time, from a very young age, he had to work to help support his family. After his father passed, he became the provider—not only for his mother, but also like a father to his two siblings. Because of this, he developed strong business skills and spent many years building and running businesses.
In 2003, he felt a very clear call to let everything go. According to the guidance he had received from the beings of light, the year 2000 marked the beginning of a new era—the era of consciousness. By 2003, he knew it was time. He released everything and stepped fully into the unknown, into what he describes as the void.
From that moment on, he dedicated himself entirely to his purpose. He sold his businesses and, in exchange, received a large house—the place where he now lives. When he first arrived, the house’s energy was very dense and heavy. But the light beings told him, “This is your portal. This is your temple.”
He had asked to devote himself fully to his life’s work, and this was the answer. He was shown how to work with physical spaces in the same way he worked with people—how to liberate them energetically so they could become portals of light. These spaces become extensions of the hearts of the people who inhabit them.
Today, people from all over the world come to this portal. Juan also works with physical spaces internationally—liberating land and places so they can hold higher frequencies. In Brazil, for example, two large plots of land have not yet been built on, intended to become dimensional portals similar to the one here in Colombia—spaces where people immediately feel the energy as soon as they arrive.
For Juan, working in these environments makes everything flow more easily. Everything is aligned with purpose.
And the name of this location—what is it called?
Juan de la Luz: It’s called Eden.
Yes—Eden. And you also host retreats there for people who are connected to your work. Is that right?
Juan de la Luz: Yes, that’s correct.

So I’m curious about something you call a Quantum Initiation. It seems to be the starting point of your work with individuals. What exactly is a quantum initiation? How does it work, and what are the benefits for the person receiving it?
Juan de la Luz: A Quantum Initiation is something Juan offers as a channel—he’s very clear about that. He emphasizes that he is not the source. The source is the being itself. Through him, energy arrives and is transmitted to the other person so their energetic channels can reopen.
This is a one-on-one session. Juan begins to elevate the frequency of the person’s energy through his voice, creating a separation between who they truly are and the pain, anger, fears, and memories held in the personality. Through this process, beings of light guide the person into what he calls the quantum void.
In that space, transformations begin to occur at the cellular level. Each being is an entire universe. For example, there have been initiations where, within seconds, a person reaches the frequency of Sirius, the star system, and begins communicating energetically with star brothers and sisters.
In other cases, someone may not immediately receive images or information because their heart is very closed and they are carrying a heavy emotional weight. Even then, physical sensations often arise—trembling, vibrations, movement in the eyes—because the beings of light are working directly with the pineal gland. Juan doesn’t touch the person at all. Everything happens through energy.
There is also a global team connected to this work—people from different countries and languages who work daily in this field. If someone receiving an initiation cannot clearly express what they are feeling or seeing, these other channels can receive and communicate the information on their behalf. This doesn’t need to be in person; it can happen online. The information that comes through is always exactly what that person needs in that moment.

Okay. Help me clarify something, because I’m hearing the word being used in two different ways. Sometimes it sounds like you’re referring to the human being, and other times to these beings of light. So what I’m hearing is that Juan is working one-on-one with someone, helping them move into another dimension to access healing and purpose. But if they can’t fully experience that themselves, then other people from your team step in? I’m not quite understanding that part.
Laura: Yes, let me clarify.
Whenever there is an initiation, we are all connected. We have daily calls where Maestro Juan guides us back into that frequency—separating from our personality, our fears, our anger, and reconnecting with our essence.
So when an initiation is happening, we are connected simultaneously through a call if the person receiving the initiation has difficulty expressing what they are experiencing—which often happens when the heart and throat chakras are very closed—others in the group can receive and channel the information for them.
I’ve been working with Maestro Juan for six years, and I’ve never seen someone feel nothing at all. Most people do feel or see something. But sometimes they can’t express it yet. In those cases, others who are connected in this daily awakening process help bring forward the information that the person needs, until they can access and express it themselves.
Okay, thank you. You’re referring to Juan as maestro. What does that term mean? I’m only familiar with it in the context of someone who conducts an orchestra. Help me understand how you’re using it here.
Laura: Yes. Maestro translates to teacher, and also to master. When we speak in English, we usually say teacher, because the word master can feel hierarchical—as if someone were more elevated than others—and that’s not how we see him.
In Spanish, maestro is a word of affection and respect. We use it because we love him, and because he teaches us—every single day—how to return to love.
That makes sense. And Laura, if you don’t mind, how did you personally get connected to Juan? And how has this work transformed your life?
Laura: For many years, I was searching all over the world for answers. I began my studies in Colombia, then moved to Australia, where I finished degrees in environmental engineering and marine science. My deepest connection has always been with nature.
From there, I began working with Aboriginal communities and receiving teachings from them. I had already been practicing yoga and meditation for a long time, and I later trained as a yoga and meditation teacher in Thailand.
After that, I returned to Colombia for what was meant to be a vacation—but something shifted. I began connecting deeply with Indigenous communities here, including those from the Sierra Nevada, the world’s highest coastal mountain range. There are four tribes there, many of whom have had almost no contact with what we call modern civilization. I also spent time with Indigenous communities closer to the Amazon, working with plant medicine.
Over the years, I trained in Reiki, floral therapy, and Imperial Qigong. I share this just to give context for how much I was searching.
Around 2017 or 2018, I returned to Colombia and was when I felt the call to stay. Then, in early 2020—at the very beginning of the pandemic—my uncle was having a small birthday gathering. Because of lockdowns, there were only about ten of us.
That night, Maestro Juan arrived with two women from Brazil. When I saw them, I immediately felt their energy was different—almost as if they weren’t from this world. It was incredibly strong.
Because of my teachings with Indigenous elders, I stayed in observation rather than asking questions. I noticed they were plant-based, which is very uncommon in Colombia, especially among people their age. I began speaking with one of the women from Brazil, and something opened in me.
I didn’t think—I felt. My heart expanded.
That night, something important happened. I was ready to leave, but my uncle insisted I stay because it was late and unsafe to travel through the mountains. I felt a deep urgency to leave, though I didn’t fully understand why at the time.
Looking back, I now see that my entire life energy was being precipitated in that moment. I had always seemed free, but others were often making decisions for me. That night, it became very clear.
Maestro Juan and I hadn’t exchanged a single word. But as I was speaking with the Brazilian woman, she told me he was working energetically in the space—even though he wasn’t nearby. I told her, “I know. I can feel him.”
At that moment, I began communicating with him telepathically.
When everyone was trying to stop me from leaving, Maestro Juan stood up and calmly said, “Love allows the other one to be.”
Something inside me broke open. It felt like chains falling away. I looked at my uncle and said, “I’m leaving.” He had no words to stop me.
As I left, Maestro Juan hugged me for several minutes. We still hadn’t spoken. He simply said, “Don’t worry. You’re not alone.”
I replied, “I know.”
That night, everything that could go wrong did—but I trusted completely. I arrived home safely. From that day on, my life changed entirely.
I never left this place. I came here, received my initiation, and entered a state of consciousness I had never experienced before. When Maestro speaks about reprogramming, it’s literal—my entire body was vibrating. I was sweating, laughing, and crying. Every cell in my body was in transformation.
And to answer your question about how my life changed: I stopped looking outside for answers.
Through this work, I learned how to look within—and everything I was searching for was already there.

I have to ask—because I know our viewers will be curious about this—but it can sound a bit cultic, Laura. Do people say that about you? Given the level of connectedness, the power of Juan’s teaching, and how deeply people’s lives are transformed, how is this perceived in Colombia? Are people wary of you? What is it like there?
Juan de la Luz: Juan says that something very particular happens when people begin to become their own channels of light. They stop looking outside themselves for answers and instead access the light that they already are.
As a consequence, this brings a deep deconstruction of beliefs, learned structures, and conditioning. And as with any real energetic work, there will be resistance—what he calls energetic attacks—because an entire system is being dismantled. Just as shown in The Matrix, when a system begins to collapse, it reacts.
The highest achievement a person can reach is the frequency of their own being. When someone becomes self-sustaining in their energy—no longer dependent on external validation, systems, or structures—they begin to nourish themselves from within.
In Colombia, in Brazil, and everywhere in the world, there is an energetic movement happening. And every person speaks from their inner frequency. What people say reflects who they are inside. Those who live in lower frequencies may react from fear, judgment, or attack—by the law of attraction—toward those who are freeing themselves.
So one of the first principles of true spirituality and genuine connection is not needing to account for what others say, but instead remaining grounded in one’s inner world and radiating that light outward.
Laura: I’d like to add something from my own experience, because this is a very important question—and I’m grateful you asked it.
At first, my family and friends had many concerns, especially my family. They questioned my decisions deeply. Some of them even came to experience the process with Maestro, then left, and still had doubts. At first, this was very challenging for me.
But I had such certainty in my heart. This isn’t something you think—it’s something you feel. And as Maestro always says, this work isn’t about him. It’s about my connection with myself.
Over time, as I reached that deeper connection and higher frequency, I began to see the world completely differently. Maestro always told me that time would be our greatest ally.
Now, six years into my process, my parents, my siblings, and even my friends can clearly see the change. Before, I spoke a lot about spirituality, but my life wasn’t coherent with my words. My relationships, my relationship with money, and even with my family, were not aligned.
Today, my life is completely different. Even my mother—who was once the most resistant—now says, “The process is real.” She sees it. My family stands by me now, because they don’t just hear my words—they see my life.
They see the coherence. They see transparency and honesty. And they also see how many people talk about spirituality while living lives that don’t reflect it.
So you use Eden as a retreat center. Are there people who live there full-time in your community?
Laura: Some people come to Eden to live here because they want to work deeply at the cellular level and reach a higher frequency. I am one of them. There is another woman from Brazil, Chris, and another guy from Barranquilla who also lives here with his partner.
Some people come for seasons—staying for extended periods of time to immerse themselves in the work.
I know we talked earlier about the possibility of Juan giving us a taste of this frequency—a small experience of deeper connection with ourselves. Would you be willing to guide us through that for a few minutes?
Juan de la Luz: Yes, of course. Perfect. If you’d like, you can gently close your eyes.
Begin to feel. He will be speaking in Spanish. As I mentioned before, the energetic connection works in any language, but to keep the words precise, he will speak in Spanish—and I will translate every word as he goes.

What are we doing right now—just so I understand?
Juan de la Luz: This is called a quantum connection. When someone has gone through a full initiation, the connection is deeper, and the frequencies are higher. But anyone with an open heart can feel something through this process.
I just want to explain that this is why we work daily with people who are in this process. In the third dimension, it’s not easy to access the quantum void—it’s dense, noisy, and full of distractions. That’s why the work is repetitive and consistent. But yes—let’s begin.
Let us breathe.
We breathe into the vibration of love.
We open our hearts.
Through our breath, we begin to free ourselves.
We let go of our thoughts.
We breathe, and we let go of fear.
We let go of rage.
We open our hearts and release pain and control.
We breathe and let go of the mind’s need to control the external world—
the duality of the personality that is always seeking recognition and acceptance.
We open our hearts.
We let go of beliefs.
We let go of mental structures.
We release anxiety.
We give thanks for this moment, where the ego begins to dissolve—
the ego that believes it knows everything.
We return to the quantum void—
no space, no time.
We celebrate this expansion, this light we feel throughout our entire being.
We give thanks to the beings of light who are with us now—
for their wisdom, their love, and their guidance.
We breathe and feel ourselves becoming one with perfect creation.
Many blessings.
Thank you. That was a beautiful space.
When you guide us into that connection, I feel the energy so intensely—it’s right there.
Juan de la Luz: Yes. That’s it. We are just instruments.
You mentioned earlier that the initial connection is what you call a Quantum Initiation. And after that, people can be trained to become what you call a channel of light. How does that happen? What does that process look like?
Laura: After the initiation, your energetic channels are reopened in the safe space you just experienced. The initiation itself is a one-hour session, and it’s recorded so you can return to the frequency and anchor it into your cells.
After that, you enter what we call the quantum process. In the beginning, we channel at least twice a day—once in the morning and once at night—so we begin and end each day in an elevated frequency.
After the initiation, Maestro guides the connection, just as you experienced. At a certain point, he says, “I leave you there in the light.” Sometimes he asks a general question, and from that moment, we begin to write.
The information comes through writing. You start writing and expanding, releasing. And when you go back and read what you wrote, there’s often a moment of surprise—Did I really write this? The information comes directly from the beings of light.
It’s very special to receive that kind of direct guidance every single day.

And do you gather together every morning and evening on Zoom—or is this something people do on their own?
Laura: Yes, we gather together. We meet online—through Teams. Everyone who is in the process receives a link and joins.
Maestro begins by sharing a short teaching—usually about three minutes—something he’s feeling or wants to transmit. Then he guides the connection. After that, everyone goes into their own process of writing and receiving.
People may respond to a question Maestro offers, or they may ask their own guides directly. This helps bring clarity. You begin the day in a clear, energetic space, and you end the day by integrating everything you learned as a teaching.
So, what’s the best way for people to learn more about what you’re doing? I know you work with people in many different languages, but our audience is mostly English-speaking. How can they connect with you? And if someone is curious about the initiation, what would be the best next step?
Laura: The best next step would be for people to contact me directly. I speak English, so I can personally guide them through the process and answer any questions they may have.
They can also visit our Instagram page, where we share a lot of information about our work. Some of the content is already in English, and with today’s translation tools, everything can easily be accessed in English as well.
We are also about to launch our new platform, called Transcend by Juan de la Luz. This platform will allow people from all over the world to connect not only with the process but also with the teachings. All of us who are channels of light—therapists certified in this methodology—are constantly creating content: courses, transmissions, and different forms of guidance that come through daily. All of that will be available on the platform once it launches.
Wonderful. Before we wrap up, was there a question I didn’t ask that you wish I had?
Juan de la Luz: Yes. The purpose of this methodology is to help human beings reconnect with their essence and, from an elevated frequency, begin creating new realities rooted in love. The planet is in great need of this right now.
This isn’t about beautiful words or spiritual concepts held in the mind. It’s about embodying the energy of who we truly are. The highest luxury a human being can reach is connection with their essential being—because from that place, everything changes.
Even in the business world, new realities can be created through consciousness. That is the future of humanity.
It’s time to go inward. Everything we are searching for already exists within us.
Juan, it’s been such a pleasure being with you. And Laura, thank you so much for translating and for sharing your own experience so openly. I truly admire the work you’re doing. It’s been great to be with you both.
Juan de la Luz: Thank you so much, David. We’re very grateful to be here.
Laura: And I’d like to add one more thing. Within this methodology, we have many therapists who work through their own unique gifts. Some support people with their health and well-being, others work with conscious business, and many offer different forms of guidance depending on their calling.
Maestro Juan doesn’t only facilitate energetic connections—he also offers quantum coaching. Through the frequency of his voice, he helps people gain clarity in their lives. Some people may not feel ready for a full initiation, but they still want to explore something deeper or understand a situation more clearly. This work supports that as well.
All of this can be done online, including the initiation. Many people have already transformed their lives without ever meeting Maestro Juan in person—because this is energy work.
I see you do puppy therapy as well.
Laura: Yes, we also work with animals. We live with eight dogs and a cat here. Maestro often speaks about the frequency of animals and how they help elevate the planet’s energy. They are energetic guardians, and we encourage people to honor and love them—they help us navigate this world.
I love that. So beautiful. Thank you again.
Juan de la Luz: Thank you so much, David. It was a pleasure to connect. And thank you to everyone who listened and shared this space with us.
"The highest luxury a human being can reach is connection with their essential being—because from that place, everything changes."
