Children of the New Earth: How Starseeds are Shaping Humanity’s Future – An Interview with Jill M. Jackson

Long before awakening becomes a choice, it can already be a way of life.

For Jill M. Jackson, that remembering began early. Raised Southern Baptist in Mississippi, she witnessed the spirit world from childhood, and her life unfolded at the intersection of faith, intuition, and unseen realities. From becoming a CPA and Hollywood business manager to fully stepping into her calling as a medium, Jill’s journey reflects what can happen when we stop choosing comfort and start honoring truth.

I’m always curious when I speak with someone who has spent years in the consciousness, mindfulness, and spiritual space. You have a unique perspective on what’s happening in the world. What do you sense is unfolding right now?

Jill M. Jackson: The words my guides gave me for 2026 are duality and polarity. We’ve already seen so much of that, especially since 2020—the unraveling of what we’ve always known. Everything is changing. Everything is shifting. And at times it feels very uncomfortable. It feels chaotic. The energy feels uncertain.

My guides have shared that 2026 will carry much of that same energy. At the same time, more people are awakening and stepping into their own truths. Often, when we move through challenges, we have the opportunity to go within and ask ourselves important questions. Are we following our soul’s blueprint? Are we living the soul’s plan we created before we incarnated? I see a lot of that coming forward in 2026 as well.

Thank you for sharing that. I’m really curious about your upbringing in Mississippi—where you still live, at least for now. I’d love to hear about what you began to experience as a young person: what you were seeing, what you were hearing, and how that did—or didn’t—fit with your family’s faith tradition. Take us back to your early years. What was going on for you?

Jill M. Jackson: There was a lot of duality there as well. I was raised Southern Baptist, and in Mississippi, we have more churches per capita than any other state in the country. That was a big part of my upbringing.

At the same time, my mom was a medium and could see the spirit world. My dad has always been open to energy and psychics. So I really had both influences, and in that way, I was very blessed.

I’ve been seeing the spirit world for as long as I can remember. Then, when I was twelve, my grandmother passed away, and she woke me up by floating above my bed. That was my first telepathic communication with someone on the other side. She told me how beautiful it was where she was, that she no longer had pain. I wasn’t afraid at all—it was the most loving, comforting feeling.

I ran into my mom’s room to tell her about it, and she said yes, that my grandmother had been visiting her before she came to me. So I had these experiences, but I was also raised Southern Baptist. Over time, I began to feel a lot of hypocrisy and fear-based messaging, and I came to a knowing that it just wasn’t in alignment with what I knew to be my truth.

You share your entire journey in your book, Mississippi Medium: My Journey from Southern Baptist to Talking to the Dead. I’m familiar with that culture myself. My dad was a Southern Baptist pastor early on, and I was a Christian pastor for over a decade. I’m curious how these experiences—seeing spirits and having these conversations—played out while you were also pursuing a career in what we’d call the “real world.”

Jill M. Jackson: It was very much an unfolding over time. I call it coming out of the psychic closet, and I didn’t fully do that until I was living in California.

There’s never been a time in my life when I didn’t have a relationship with the spirit world. I didn’t have to learn mediumship—it’s all I’ve ever known. But I did try to fit into what society considers normal. I became a CPA. I worked as a business manager in Hollywood, helping celebrities, producers, and editors manage their finances.

I was using both my left brain and my right brain—again, that theme of duality and polarity. It was a gradual unfolding. Eventually, I became very sick and ended up in the hospital on two different occasions. I can be a bit stubborn, so the first time I didn’t really pay attention. But the second time, my guides were very clear: You didn’t incarnate this time around to be a CPA. You incarnated as a medium.

Some of my family members asked, “How do we reconcile this? At one point, you told us you were a CPA, and now you’re saying you’re a medium.” And I told them, “I’ve always been a medium. I just became a CPA to try to fit into the normal world. The mediumship has always been with me.”

How did they reconcile that? Was it more about your identity, or did it conflict with their theology?

Jill M. Jackson: It was both. Some family members were vocal about the fact that this didn’t align with their beliefs. But I’ve also been blessed in that many of them honored me and my choices.

Both of my parents have an understanding of the other world, so there wasn’t much judgment there. With more distant family members, there was some pushback and a lack of understanding. I’ve always been what you’d call the black sheep. Some family members have even admitted they were embarrassed at times by the things I speak about.

But we have to honor each person’s truth—that’s part of the awakening process. What was my truth years ago isn’t my truth now, and that’s how our souls continue to evolve.

How did you make that transition from being a CPA and business manager to becoming a medium? A lot of people listening or watching feel called into that next chapter of purpose. How did you manage that shift?

Jill M. Jackson: Slowly—and then not so slowly.

I think when we jump off that proverbial cliff and trust that the parachute will be there, everything starts lining up. At the same time, it can feel very scary. We tend to choose comfort over courage.

That’s what I love: helping people with stepping into their truth. Once we’re in alignment with our soul’s blueprint—and we all have one, we all have a purpose—everything starts flowing and falling into place. There’s a lot of trust involved.

I’m also a huge believer in studying. You’ll hear psychics and mediums say, “I was born with my gifts, so I didn’t need to study.” In my humble opinion, that’s ego. Even Tiger Woods continues to study and perfect his craft. So I did start taking classes and really learning how to hone my gifts.

When you first began offering readings, was it for friends and family—just exploring it—or did you approach it as a business right away?

Jill M. Jackson: I actually joined a prophecy site that no longer exists. I’m also a prophetic psychic, so I can read energy and future timelines. I started offering free readings through that site, as well as for friends and family, and built my confidence over time.

Then I began offering my services on a donation basis, continuing to build confidence in the accuracy. From there, it naturally developed into my business.

How long have you been doing this as your full-time focus?

Jill M. Jackson: About two decades now, David.

Amazing. Why do you keep doing this? What keeps calling you to help people in this way?

Jill M. Jackson: It’s just part of who I am.

I remember taking a class with one of my mentors, Mavis Pittilla, who was a very well-known medium in the UK. There were fifty of us in an advanced mediumship class in New Jersey, and she asked, “How many of you have tried to walk away from this work?”

Every single one of us raised our hands. We all started laughing. And Mavis said, “How did that work out for you?” We all replied, “Not very well.”

This work is who we are.

My greatest joy comes from watching my students come in at the beginning, uncertain. They’re having experiences—feeling their intuition, seeing the spirit world, having dreams—but the confidence isn’t there yet. They struggle with doubts, fears, and concerns about what other people will think. The ego mind comes in.

My joy comes from helping them align with who they truly are. Every single one of us was born with intuition. It’s society that tells us we’re crazy, that what we’re seeing, sensing, and feeling isn’t real—when in fact, it’s the furthest thing from that.

Talk to me about manifesting. What drew you in and motivated you to move in that direction? You wrote Manifesting Your Magic in the 5D, along with a workbook. What made manifesting such a focus for you?

Jill M. Jackson: I’ve always been a master manifester. It came naturally to me. I didn’t carry much fear in my life, and I loved the Law of Attraction. I remember when The Secret came out.

At the same time, I was unable to manifest having biological children. After five miscarriages, I wanted to understand why I had successfully manifested everything else I’d ever wanted—except this one thing I desired more than anything.

So I went on a journey to understand why the teachings of the Law of Attraction had failed. In my book, I call it perceived manifestation failure, because in truth, it isn’t failure at all.

If we’re not in alignment with our soul’s blueprint, we won’t be successful at manifesting. There’s karma. There are past lives. As I peeled back those layers, I came to understand that my soul never chose to have biological children in this lifetime.

What my soul chose was to be a stepmother, a fur-baby mother, and a spiritual mother. Over the years, students would even say to me, “You feel like my spiritual mother.”

There are many ways to show up as mothers and fathers. But that realization took time—years, really. There was grieving, frustration, and anger. Eventually, I understood that it wasn’t in alignment with my original soul blueprint. Past lives were involved, and other spiritual laws are at play as well.

If we don’t hold certain belief systems, we won’t be in alignment to manifest certain things. That’s why I wrote the book. I saw so many clients who had tried to manifest love, career, money, or healing and felt stuck.

I wanted to help people understand spiritual alchemy—how to transmute energy and work through limiting beliefs.

How do you continue growing and embodying these experiences and truths while you’re teaching others? Does that come naturally, or does it take intention? Sometimes teachers can slip into simply teaching something they once lived, rather than continuing to embody it. How do you navigate that?

Jill M. Jackson: We are always students. As teachers, we learn from our students, and I continue learning from the spirit world as well. After doing thousands of readings, I still learn something new every single time. I’m always growing. I’m always evolving.

I learn from my colleagues. I learn from my students. I learn from my clients. I learn from the spirit world. I even learn from my husband, who is also a psychic medium. We help each other continue growing and evolving.

You mentioned your husband. I know you consider each other twin flames. Would you share how you met and what makes your relationship unique? How does it function?

Jill M. Jackson: It’s a very interesting dynamic. Many people refer to it as the Butterfly Effect, where things are destined to unfold in a very specific way.

We were both called to move to the same town, a place I had never even been to before. We moved there in the same year, but we didn’t meet for another 3 years because the timing wasn’t right. We were still on our own individual journeys, working through our own shadows.

When we finally met, there was an instantaneous knowing. Many of my colleagues had already predicted him and said I was about to meet my twin flame. People often think twin flame relationships are all unicorns and rainbows, but in reality, they’re about deep soul growth.

We’ve continued doing our individual shadow work while also helping each other expand. Now we have our own show on New Reality TV, where we help people understand that relationships are meant to support evolution—but they don’t replace our individual journeys. It’s so important not to lose ourselves within a relationship.

How do you support each other’s missions? Do you keep your work separate, or do you intertwine it?

Jill M. Jackson: We each do our own readings and have separate clients. He teaches Reiki. We also teach together—awakening intuition, leading spiritual retreats around the world, and visiting sacred sites and portals.

We love helping people learn how to tune into the energy of the land. He does a lot of ceremony work. We have similar gifts, but we express them in very different ways.

You’ll be speaking at the Sedona Ascension Retreat in March. You’ll be talking about manifesting, and you’ll also be doing a main-stage talk on Children of the New Earth: How Starseeds Are Shaping Humanity’s Future. From what I understand, this began with a channel transmission you received in 2014. What was happening at that time?

Jill M. Jackson: I was on a sound journey in Naples, Florida. I had taken the night off—put the “closed for business” sign up—and intended to simply rest and recharge.

During that experience, a channeling came through, almost like a dictation. That was around the time I began channeling, in 2014. The message spoke of a new group of children called the Golden Rays, who come in on the twelfth ray of consciousness.

They began giving me traits of these children, and at first, my ego resisted. I questioned why I was receiving this information, especially since I wasn’t able to have children. My guides told me it was part of my soul contract. I had been a psychic child myself, and I understood what it was like to feel different. This, they said, was part of my mission.

Over time, I continued channeling more information, trying to understand the differences. I consider myself an Indigo, which many people are familiar with, along with Crystal and Rainbow children. There are similarities among these groups, but there are also very distinct differences.

I often compare it to astrology. People can share traits or be on the cusp of two signs, carrying aspects of both. Starseeded children are similar in that they all have psychic abilities, but each group carries its own traits.

Golden Ray children, in particular, have a mission centered on helping Mother Earth. Earlier Starseed groups were more focused on helping humanity awaken to the understanding that we are more than our physical bodies—bringing healing, especially through the Crystal and Diamond Ray children.

Golden Rays tend to be more reserved. If you meet one, they might seem quiet or different—highly intelligent, deeply wise, often keeping to themselves. That’s why I’m so passionate about this work. Many of these children don’t fit in.

I’ve spent much of my life trying to fit in, and Golden Ray and Solar Ray children are incredibly gifted. One key difference is that they’ve never had a prior incarnation on this planet. They’re very wise, having lived on other worlds, but they don’t always understand human duality or separation.

When I interviewed parents and grandparents of Golden Ray children, they shared the same observations. These children are loving and wise, but they struggle in traditional environments, especially conventional school systems, because they simply don’t fit into those structures.

Thank you for sharing that. Would you take a moment to break down the different categories of starseed children for those who may not be familiar with them? I have Indigos, Blue Rays, Crystals, Rainbows, Diamond Rays, Golden Rays—and you also mentioned Solar Rays. Walk us through them in whatever order feels right.

Jill M. Jackson: Yes, absolutely.

The Indigos began arriving in the 1950s and 1960s, and I’m one of them. They tend to carry the energy of spiritual warriors. They’re outspoken, often activists, and deeply sensitive to injustice. Sometimes their energy can feel aggressive or very “in your face,” but it’s rooted in truth-telling and change. Many people refer to this as the Indigo Revolution—the wave that came in to shake things up and initiate transformation.

Around the same time, the Blue Rays began arriving. When I asked my guides what “ray” means, they explained that it’s not a dimension as we typically understand it, but more like a flash or wave of energy with a specific frequency signature.

Blue Rays are strongly connected to Archangel Michael. They’re also here to bring change, but through alchemy rather than confrontation. Their work is quieter, more energetic, helping humanity integrate polarity and work with higher frequencies.

Would you say you identify more as an Indigo or a Blue Ray?

Jill M. Jackson: I started as an Indigo, but over time, I began bringing in more Blue Ray energy. Many people actually carry both.

In 2009, I had an experience in Sedona where I saw Archangel Michael with my eyes open while visiting Angel Valley. My Reiki master teacher was with me, and we both saw him on the mountain—tears streaming down our faces. Years later, when I returned to lead a retreat, I learned that the mountain we saw him on was called Archangel Michael Mountain. So my connection with that frequency deepened over time, and I now resonate with both Rays.

The Crystal Children began arriving primarily in the 1980s. And when I mention timelines, nothing is absolute—there are always forerunners and waves that follow. The Crystal Children came in with a strong healing frequency. This was the era when many people became interested in Reiki and other energy-healing modalities. Their role centers on compassion, heart-based consciousness, and healing.

Then we have the Rainbow Ray children, whom I absolutely love. One defining trait is their ability to embody both divine masculine and divine feminine energies. This is often a key distinction when parents are trying to understand whether their child is more Crystal or Rainbow.

Rainbow children hold both energies with ease, and this is when we began seeing broader conversations around gender identity, pronouns, and fluid expression. Their role is to help humanity remember that we all carry both masculine and feminine within us.

Next are the Diamond Ray children. They’re deeply connected to crystal frequencies. If a child is especially drawn to crystals, that’s often a Diamond Ray trait. These children are incredibly loving. They’re the ones who naturally reach out to kids who feel excluded or misunderstood, bringing them into groups with genuine compassion. It’s beautiful to witness.

Then we have the Golden Rays. To my knowledge, I was the first to channel information about them. They are different—exceptionally spiritual and highly intelligent. I interviewed one parent whose Golden Ray child was talking about 3-6-9 energy and the universe at around three years old, carrying profound wisdom at a very young age.

One of the most remarkable traits of Golden Ray children is their connection with wild animals. I channeled this before ever speaking with parents—that animals would not fear these children because they recognize their purity.

I once channeled a Golden Ray child while she was still in utero. Her soul was so pure that I was in tears. Years later, her mother told me that while living in the mountains, a bear entered their backyard. The child, about four years old at the time, stood there, and the bear bowed to her, as if honoring her. I’ve heard many similar stories. Animals recognize these children because they themselves possess a higher level of consciousness than many humans.

Finally, there are the Solar Rays, who began arriving around 2020. That timing is no coincidence. When the world shut down, it forced many people to go inward, to question long-held beliefs, and to awaken to deeper truths.

The Solar Rays are here to help humanity understand Christ consciousness and Sophia consciousness. They illuminate truth in a loving way. They’re connected to the galactic sun and bring energy that reveals—not through force, but through illumination.

They help us remember that much of what dogmatic religion has taught about Jesus and Yeshua is very different from his actual teachings. When you read the New Testament, there is truth there—but there is also the Sophia consciousness, the divine feminine wisdom, that lives within all of us.

The Solar Ray children are here to help humanity restore that balance and remember who we truly are.

Have you started connecting with Solar Ray children yet, or is it still too early for those experiences?

Jill M. Jackson: A few, yes. I’ve connected with some parents whose children have a strong connection with the sun—not the sun as we typically understand it, but its energetic frequency. These children truly need a lot of sunlight.

I had channeled this before hearing it confirmed by parents, but many have shared that when their child is upset or crying, simply stepping outside and allowing the rays of the sun to comfort them brings an immediate sense of peace. There’s a calming that washes over them, and that’s been fascinating to witness.

How can parents, educators, and caregivers better embrace individuals who are often labeled as “different” in our culture? How can we support their growth when they’re navigating outdated educational or behavioral systems?

Jill M. Jackson: That’s such an important question, David, because you’re right—while society is beginning to question outdated beliefs, those systems are still very much in place.

Parents need to honor their children’s experiences. One of the interesting dynamics with these children is that they’re often very strong-willed. They know what they want, when they want it, and how they want it. So there’s a delicate balance between creating healthy boundaries and allowing them to fully express who they are.

If a child is seeing loved ones in spirit that a parent can’t see, it doesn’t mean those experiences aren’t real. It’s important to ask them about it, encourage conversation, and help them understand that sensing energy and connecting with guardian angels is a gift.

I love teaching parents how to use crystals and empower their children rather than create fear. Children can learn that they are safe, supported, and in control of their gifts.

The most supportive approach is open curiosity—asking questions, listening, and learning from these children. Not from a place of turning an eight-year-old into a reader for others, but from genuine interest and respect. The parents and grandparents I’ve interviewed consistently talk about how wise these children are, often expressing insights far beyond their chronological age.

Most of these children won’t thrive in traditional school systems. That’s why I’m excited to see more alternative schools emerging—spaces that emphasize connection with nature, meditation, breathwork, and energy awareness. Over the next few years, I believe this will become more visible and accessible in certain areas, and that’s incredibly encouraging.

I could be completely off here, but is there any overlap between the increasing number of children being diagnosed as being “on the spectrum” and these different starseed children coming in? In your view, is there a correlation?

Jill M. Jackson: I do feel it’s connected, David—absolutely.

So often, when society doesn’t understand a child’s traits or personality, the impulse is to label and medicate. In my humble opinion, we want to do the opposite. Of course, I’m not a doctor, and I don’t give medical advice, but I strongly encourage parents to pause and really consider what these children are bringing in.

Pharmaceuticals can be harmful to young minds, and instead of suppressing these children, we want to support their unique gifts. So yes, I do believe we’re seeing a connection. That’s why I love the work being done through The Telepathy Tapes—it’s helping bring awareness to just how gifted these children truly are.

You also mentioned that you’ll be going on retreats with your husband this year. Are there a few you’d like to share?

Jill M. Jackson: Yes. We’re going to Stonehenge for the summer solstice. We’ve taken groups there before, and it’s incredibly magical—being inside Stonehenge during the solstice, surrounded by people from all over the world. It’s a surreal experience.

We’ll also be going to Glastonbury, walking to the top of the Tor to greet the sunrise on the solstice. From there, we visit Avebury and other stone circles, where we do ceremony, healing, and channeling work.

We’re also taking a group to Scotland to connect with the megalithic stone circles there. We focus on ceremony, channeling, gridding with the Earth, and understanding our connection through ley lines—laying energetic foundations for the New Earth. We’re very excited about all of it.
