Trust and Surrender
Recently, I was given the opportunity to practice trusting in and surrendering to the Universe. Before diving into this marvelous gift, I want to share a quick story that Dr. Wayne Dyer shared at one of his speaking engagements I attended before he passed. This beautiful Soul shared that he was due to speak in front of a large crowd as the keynote speaker when his plans were abruptly changed because his flight was cancelled. He mentioned observing many people getting furious and taking it out on the woman at the check-in counter, where people were trying to find a new flight. Wayne shared that when it was his turn to speak to the very frazzled woman, he paused and, instead of getting upset with her and demanding a new flight as others in line before him had done, he showed compassion towards the woman. The Golden Thread
When you think of the word, love, what comes to mind? God, Universe, Jeshua, Brahman, Allah, Yahweh, Jehovah, Elohim, your spouse, partner, lover, child, loved one, your passion, pet, or yourself. These may be some of the first thoughts that come to your mind. What if you went from your mind and into your heart when focusing on love?

From Therapist to Spiritual Guide: How I Answered the Soul Tap – An Interview with Dixie Willis
For Dixie Willis, a pivotal moment in a packed therapy office became the catalyst for transformation. Though her clinical career was meaningful and successful, it wasn’t until she heeded a quiet inner voice—what she calls a “soul tap”—that she stepped fully into her multidimensional path. Her story is not one of sudden awakening, but of gradual alignment, where spiritual gifts, therapeutic wisdom, and deep listening came together to serve others on a higher plane.

Authenticity: What It’s Not
Authenticity: a term we’ve encountered and have been told to be authentic, to be ourselves, and to be real! We are taught to be anything except our authentic selves from a young age. Have you ever been told things like: “Suck it up,” “You need to fit in,” “You’re too woo-woo,” or “Don’t make them uncomfortable with your words”? Perhaps you’ve heard, “Don’t rock the boat,” “Your voice and feelings don’t matter,” or “Are you really going to wear that?” Maybe you’ve been told you’re “just a girl” or should “be a real man.” Have you ever heard that you’re “too sensitive,” that “it’s not okay to cry in public,” or that you should simply suppress your emotions? We’re told to keep going as if there is some reward for not being our authentic self to make someone else comfortable.

We the People
When we look at the world and see what is happening around us, we can become disheartened, inflexible, or apathetic. Many may feel a deep sadness or hopelessness seeing the world in chaos. Others may feel so strongly about their beliefs that they become inflexible when considering another’s point of view, even to the point of losing close relationships or taking another’s life. Some may feel apathetic because they don’t care or feel helpless to do anything to support positive change in the world.
