The Water, a powerful swirling life force, can drag you deep under its wild sea if one does not learn to master riding its treacherous waves. Whilst destructive, water, in its mastery, can be gentle and life-giving when in balance. The human body, much like the Earth itself, needs just the right amount of water to function in harmony.
Too much water and we drown – filling our lungs with a substance we were never meant to breathe; literally and emotionally, the pressure humans were never equipped to sustain becomes overwhelming. Flooding our bodies, it crushes – washing away stability and control.

Too little and we dry out – drought sets in. We are unable to function or flourish. Our spirit, our mind, becomes parched, leaving us lifeless and disoriented. To remain in a constant state of mind, we need to become allies with water in the right way. Water at either extreme can be deeply detrimental to both humans and the planet.
If the water in your life appears turbulent, it often signals a lesson. When you feel knocked around by the crashing waves of physical or emotional overwhelm, you need a time of deep cleansing or course correction. This balance coincides with and balances our masculine and feminine polarities.
The Water spirit does not intend to harm; it is only responding to the conditions. We are the vessel that must learn how to roll with the tides. When we use it to our advantage, it purifies, allowing the waves of emotion to wash through you.
Think of what happens when you cry – there’s an emotional release; it’s purging the extra weight from your body, breaking you open. And in the aftermath, there’s clarity; you can breathe again; perspective returns, and things settle.
But if we hold it in – if we bottle it up – grief, sadness, or pain, our emotions become stagnant pools and flood our internal systems. Emotions don’t disappear; That’s why water requires flow. Like the tides, it must move in a natural rhythm of expansion and contraction.
We, too, must honor that rhythm.
Meet some of the Water Elemental Beings:
Mermaids
The Pure embodiment of the water spirit itself, their natural beauty fills oceans, lakes, and rivers, lit by their brilliant, glimmering scales that refract through the water’s edge. Moving swiftly so as not to be disturbed or noticed by human eyes.
Their essence carries powerful purification energy. Call on them to help cleanse your water or remove toxins from your life, whether this be toxic people, energy, or physical things you have consumed. They assist with this process, washing away shadows, impurities, and stagnant emotions from the mind, body, and spirit.
When you’re struggling with grief, facing shadows from your past, or battling current demons, know that the Mermaid is by your side holding your hand as you move through the waves of emotion. Allow the water to take its course; that heaviness you feel – the pain, sorrow, or emotional weight – doesn’t need to weigh you down. This is your soul’s way of providing the medicine to help you release.
These afflictions aren’t meant to be carried forever; see them as an emotional challenge given to us humans to overcome. Because that heaviness you feel only rises to the surface when you’re being called to dive deeply into the inner workings of your soul.
Holding onto the pain and keeping the shadows hidden will only keep you anchored to the bottom of the ocean. Releasing it sets you free – allowing you to move fluidly through the water.
The Mermaid longs for you to experience the love, joy, and freedom that come from being one with water. Feel their energy flowing through you, surrounding you, carrying you as you float freely to the top for a breath of fresh air.
You can do this whenever you’re near water; in times of hardship, call upon them for guidance. Whether it’s a rolling sea, rushing river, still lake, or simply at home in your bath or shower. Imagine their pure presence rippling through the currents around you.
Remember, harmony begins where inner turmoil ends.
The light is always waiting for you. When you let go of this weight, you allow yourself to rise.
You are never defined by life’s experiences, however painful. Your truth, your worth, is your real power; your soul is never broken; it’s brilliant.
The Mermaids are here, guiding you out of the depths of the ocean so you can remember this, and when you shine a light on yourself, you remember who you really are.
That’s the real magic. You. A whole, radiant, and free being.

Oannes – Sea God
The powerful totem of the Divine Masculine – the King of the Sea and the Counterpart to the Divine Feminine. Depicted as half man, half fish, he embodies the almighty strength and raw ferocity of the ocean. His muscular physique, scaled skin, and seaweed-draped hair reflect his entanglement with the Sea.
Summoning storms with a roar, Oannes teaches us the paradox of control. To truly command the water, one must first let go of the need to control it. Be still, as he draws spirals in the water as a symbol of surrender and flow. This is a lesson in trust: to ride the waves rather than resist them.
Though his masculine appearance may feel dominant, his medicine brings something gentler. As a guardian of the ocean, his duty is to ensure that the sacred balance of nature is upheld. That the waves remain a constant dance of reciprocity, taking in equal measure.
With the mild trace of his hands through the water, he calls upon the wayfinders, the men and women worthy of being leaders, stewards – the ones who lead with heart and purpose. Especially when their community — their ‘ohana – needs them most.
He teaches us that stepping into the healthy masculine is about being accountable and having the capability to walk the courageous path.
As the saying goes, “I need to step up and be a man” – but this isn’t about gender. It’s about knowing how to hold space and let go. And that includes yourself: trusting to let go of things that were never meant for you and allowing what is to return, like the tide.
Life is a constant cycle of expansion and contraction, death and rebirth. Oannes teaches us to understand and honor these moments – to know when to act, when to release, and when to simply allow.
The Siren
Originating in Greek mythology, Sirens were first portrayed as mystical beings – half bird, half woman. Moving fluidly through dimensions, carrying both elements of Water and Air, the Sirens’ enchanting allure arrives to break you open – an ancient summons back to your Divine Feminine.
Though known to inhabit the sea, they are not confined to it. Their voices and ethereal presence are carried by the winds, yet their bodies move mysteriously through the seas with purpose and depth.
The Sirens’ energy is a powerful blend of beauty, passion, and untamed rage, here to bring transformation and awaken the remembrance of your Dark Feminine power.
Her song does not just seduce; it calls you to move with the untamed forces of nature. Her code is an activation. Luring ships and men abroad – not out of malice but as a required act of balance.
The Siren lives deep within all of us. She is the raw, primal energy that stirs beneath our surface. The Feminine must learn to embrace her own power, open up her sensuality, and return home to her body. But do not fear her; her presence is not destruction but a redirection. She wants you to truly see yourself and love yourself for all that you are.
Whilst her presence may not feel gentle, leading you through stormy seas, it only surrounds those strong enough to face her depths and withstand her power. You must pass through the darkness in order to ascend toward the light breaking through the waves with fierce grace.
The feminine must learn to find herself, drawing you in not to break you, but to guide you toward the truth of who you are. Each wave holds a lesson, and every crash reshapes you.
When you are finally ready to resurface, you’ll carry her voice and wisdom within you. Grateful for this transformation, you’ll emerge as a truer, stronger, and more aligned version of you. The Feminine architect you were always meant to be.
