Empathic Gangster: Divine, Dangerous, and Disruptive – An Interview with Torie Smith
Torie Smith, Dr.h.c., is a channeler, spirit advisor, and creator of Galactic Attunement™, helping awakening souls understand their cosmic identity with clarity and laughter. Learn more at www.empathicgangster.com.
What if you heard your ceiling crash down, but nothing actually fell?
That’s what happened to Torie Smith. After finishing The Untethered Soul and saying a chakra-aligning prayer she found on her phone, she went to the bathroom and started seeing energy move through the walls. Then it sounded like her bedroom ceiling came crashing down. Telepathic voices filled the room: “We’re coming, but it’s not like you’ve been told.” Her entire awakening happened in one evening.
Today, she’s the Empathic Gangster, a spiritual advisor and channeler (and a bartender) who helps people dissolve limiting beliefs and embody what she calls galactic law. What makes this conversation different is its grounding. Torie doesn’t take herself too seriously, even when talking about cosmic downloads and induction ceremonies. She’s figured out how to make awakening feel fun instead of frightening, how to use neutrality to navigate emotional waves, and why sharing your magical experiences might be the most powerful thing you can do for someone else.
Whether you’ve been denying something that keeps presenting itself or you’re just tired of spiritual teachers who operate from fear, this one will remind you that your encoded abilities are already online — you just need to remember.

What do you sense is happening here on our planet as things are unfolding so rapidly?
Torie Smith: Definitely a galactic remembrance.
For almost the last ten years of my life, that’s exactly what my journey has been about — discovering who we are galactically, who I am galactically, what my role is here, what my exact “seat number” is in this experience, and how that plays out in the perspective I’m seeing.
Our cosmic and encoded abilities are coming online. I know, for myself, that during my awakening experience, it happened in one evening. It was very fast. I did not see it coming at all.
Being able to have these conversations with people who are consciously experiencing what’s happening is amazing. But I also love being able to assist those who say, “What is happening to me?” and then hearing their story. Me being able to tell mine — and kind of bridge that gap — allows them to see themselves through my experience.
I really see life as a neutral mirror through which to perceive myself. So I like to be that for other people too — a neutral mirror they can use to understand their own experience. But overall, what I sense is this galactic remembrance unfolding.
Did you grow up with a family that had some sort of faith experience or spirituality, or did that come later?
Torie Smith: This is interesting because everyone in my family had a different perspective.
My mom was raised Catholic and later turned Christian. My sister was baptized into the Mormon Church at eighteen. My dad is anti-religion. And I’ve always been more on a spiritual, energetic journey.
But it was never polarizing. It never felt tense. We were really into going and doing things together — vacations, sports, being outdoors. Everybody lived their own life, but we lived under the same roof and went on vacation together. Those conversations about belief systems didn’t really happen between us. They were more conversations we’d have with our own friends or within those specific groups.
I never felt tension over the fact that we all had different perspectives. There are things that bridge those gaps — music, entertainment, movies, going to the river, the desert, the beach, sports. We just kind of understood: you feel that way, you think that way, and that’s cool.
I’m curious how your own spiritual journey unfolded. Can you share about that?
Torie Smith: I’ve always been fascinated by the mind. Even as a kid, I was into self-reflection and self-discovery. I attended my first self-help seminar when I was around 12 years old. My mom was really into that space — the nineties, early 2000s self-help world — and I loved it.
I was very observant as a child. I loved watching people. I was also an artist, and I played sports.
There was a very specific experience in high school that changed everything. I was playing basketball. I was on defense. A girl came down the court, and I blacked out. The only thing I heard was the audience gasp. I looked up and saw my dad with his face in his hands. I had taken this girl down by her neck. I was no longer playing basketball.
What I realized in that moment was that there was an energy in me that was so savage, and I didn’t have the self-mastery to work with it. I didn’t know how to tame it or understand it at 15. So I walked away from sports. I pretty much stopped doing art at that point, too.
From there, my life shifted. I started experimenting with substances, dating, and things that took me in a totally different direction. One day, my mom stopped me in the hallway and said, “I don’t know how to guide you. You’re more streetwise than I’ll ever be.” I was fifteen. She decided to take me to a therapist.
The therapist told me, “Torie, there’s nothing wrong with you. But you’re an artist who isn’t arting. You’re not expressing.”
That was a turning point. Up until then, most of my art had been black and white — very trippy, heady, kind of head-shop style, which was on point for that era. But she gave me an assignment. She said, “Go home and create a collage that reflects you. Cut from magazines. Do whatever you need to do.”
I made this collage, and it was neon and bright. I had never seen myself like that before.
Something shifted. Within about two months, I was heading off to a private art school — and I hadn’t even planned on going to college at all. I didn’t know what I wanted to do.
That simple act of self-reflection and self-expression completely changed the trajectory of my life.

Talk to me about the book The Untethered Soul. I know it played a major role in your life, helping open things up for you.
Torie Smith: I had just had my first daughter. While I was pregnant with her, I read The Inner Matrix, which really began stirring conscious awareness around environmental programming and how we’re shaped. Then I was gifted The Untethered Soul.
I haven’t read many books in my life, but the ones I have read have left a lasting impression. Everything in my life feels intentional in that way. So I finished The Untethered Soul one evening and set it down. I needed to use the restroom, but before I got up, I felt an intuitive pull to check my phone.
When I opened it, there was a prayer on my feed. It wasn’t what I had been looking at before. It wasn’t something I had searched for. It was just there. I thought it was incredibly synchronistic that I had just finished the book, and now this prayer was presenting itself.
The prayer was meant to open your chakra system to the highest form of communication in the universe. So I did it. Then I went to the restroom.
And my entire life changed in one evening.
What’s also fascinating is that not only was the book a gift — which feels special, because someone thought of you while they were having that experience — but I later found out the author lives in the same town I do. Years after becoming a channeler, I tried to read the book again, but I couldn’t. My consciousness had taken such quantum leaps that I couldn’t return to that point.
At one time, it had broken the walls of the dam down for me. And later, my brain couldn’t even go back there. I found that fascinating.
Talk to me about that evening. Did this all happen in the restroom, or after you came out?
Torie Smith: I’ll tell you the story, because it’s wild — and it completely changed how I saw my entire life.
I went into the restroom and was sitting there, looking at the white wall in front of me. Suddenly, I realized I could see all the energy in the room moving. As I became consciously aware of it, it began communicating with me.
The moment that awareness clicked, I went into what felt like a download. This frequency — this energy — started walking me through every moment in my life when I had seen energy but interpreted it through a medical lens. I had always thought, Do I need glasses? Contacts? Do I have an astigmatism?
It showed me all those pivotal moments where I was perceiving energy but mislabeling it, so I wasn’t getting an accurate understanding of what was happening.
When that download finished, it sounded like my bedroom ceiling came crashing down. And suddenly I was being bombarded with telepathic communication. I heard, “We’re coming. Tell everyone we’re coming — but it’s not what you’ve been told it’s going to be.”
Immediately, I went into puzzle-solving mode. What does that mean? What have we been told? How do I work backward from that?
It led me to the realization that what’s coming is unconditional love, abundance, coexistence, working together — the understanding that we are one. That’s where the thought process landed.
At that point, the experience was so energetically overwhelming that I felt like I needed to lie down. But I was told, “No. You need to go tell your husband.”
And I remember thinking, Can I just lie down first?
But the answer was no — I needed to tell him.
Was your husband into this kind of thing — on a similar path as you?
Torie Smith: No, not at all. But the thing is, I wasn’t consciously on this path either until that moment happened.
All the books I had read were gifted to me. I’ve always been into self-discovery and different ways of looking at things, and when something resonates, it really resonates. When I read The Inner Matrix while I was pregnant, and it talked about how the womb space imprints on your child, that felt tangible to me. My mind could grasp it. So the ideas of energetics, consciousness, belief — those were already stirring. Then The Untethered Soul was the next stepping stone.
It was this interesting evolution that unfolded without freaking me out. People hear my story and ask, “Weren’t you scared?” And honestly, no. My life finally made sense. I felt like I was born and bred for this.
That night, my husband was in the living room on his headset talking to his friends. I went out and said, “I need to talk to you.” He asked for a minute, and while I was waiting, I was thinking, How do I say this? How do I make this digestible?
Then I heard clearly in my head, “Stop hesitating. We told you to tell him.”
So when he was ready, I told him what was happening. He kind of placated me and asked, “What does that mean? When are they coming?” I said, “I don’t know. I don’t have those answers. I was just guided to share this with you.”
There wasn’t much more conversation after that. But I wasn’t going back into that bedroom alone. I sat next to him on the couch, and within less than two minutes, it sounded like the ceiling came crashing down again in our bedroom. I jumped up and ran down the hallway. He said, “What are you doing?” I said, “Did you not just hear that?”
Our one-year-old was asleep and didn’t wake up. That’s when it became obvious — this was a solo journey happening right now.

Did you go back into the room?
Torie Smith: Yes. I went back in and heard, “We’re not done communicating with you yet.”
I said, “Okay, I’m here for this. I’m open to this. But if you could knock off the ceiling crashing, that would be great. It’s a little much.”
I lay down on the bed in almost an angel pose, just allowing the messaging and frequency to move through my body. Within minutes, my body learned how to recognize what I call source-accurate communication.
I remember it clearly. My thoughts were ticking. When they were accurate, it felt one way in my body. When they were inaccurate, it felt different. The inaccurate thoughts were pushed back until I felt that accurate resonance.
Then I got fully dressed and put my shoes on to go to bed — because I wasn’t sure if I was going to be abducted.
My husband asked, “What are you doing?” I said, “I don’t know what’s going to happen. I don’t want to wake up somewhere without shoes.”
For me, though, this wasn’t a losing-my-mind experience. It felt grounded. It felt like discovering my mind — like everything was suddenly making sense. Every experience brought more clarity. The puzzle pieces were lying out.
When I later discovered what I call galactic law — the understanding that all is neutral and nothing means anything except the meaning we assign to it — I began to understand why social programming and my lived experience were never on the same page.
There’s this idea that if you behave a certain way, you’ll get a certain result. That’s never been my experience. So I’ve always had a hard time accepting someone else’s truth as my truth. Not for them — but for me.
For example, in the coaching industry, people will say, “This is this, and that is that.” And I’ll think, Not for me. Speak for yourself. That hasn’t been my experience.
When I realized everything is interpretational — that people are constantly putting labels and boxes on things — I understood why I felt rebellious about it. It wasn’t angst for the sake of rebellion. It was an encoded truth inside me saying, That’s their interpretation. It doesn’t have to be yours.
Did you get abducted that night?
Torie Smith: No. I went to bed. I woke up.
The first thing I did the next morning was reach out to a spiritual blogger. This wasn’t my wheelhouse at the time. I knew nothing about this. I wanted to know whether others had experienced this.
She responded and said she had been communicating with that frequency most of her life. Most people, she explained, connect with that type of frequency in theta, right before sleep. She said it was interesting that I was cognitively awake when it happened.
Her advice was to reconnect to that frequency and request 100% source-accurate information. She said it was important to set those guidelines for the communication. So I did.
After that, things began unfolding regularly. Within six months, I was having profound energetic experiences every week or two. The frequency began presenting information about who I am, what I’m capable of, what humanity is capable of — the abilities we’re encoded with that people are only now starting to recognize.
There were small experiences and big, profound ones. Every single one was triggered by conscious awareness — by a thought that would open a thread and then unfold into what felt like a download.
And it simply became my normal life.
Can you give me an example of one of those experiences?
Torie Smith: Of course.
I had just learned what it meant to be an empath. But what I quickly realized was that the way people were teaching it didn’t resonate with me. The explanations felt more like a prison sentence — almost a victim stance — and I wasn’t willing to approach this dynamic that way.
One night, my husband asked if I wanted to watch a vampire movie. Instantly, I started regurgitating what I had just read: “Empaths don’t watch scary movies,” and all of that. But as soon as it came out of my mouth, I stopped myself.
I thought, No. That’s not how you become whole. That’s not how you reach true enlightenment. You have to be able to see everything and be one with everything. You can’t deny parts of reality and expect to be complete.
The moment I had that thought, I saw a black streamer and a white streamer descend into the energetic field. They twisted together and exploded into this golden shower over my head. I felt the most unconditional love I’ve ever known.
And I heard, “Congratulations. This is your induction ceremony.”
That was about two weeks after the initial awakening. It was happening so fast, I felt like I needed to hold on. And experiences like that just kept happening.

At what point did you sense this wasn’t just for you — that you were being called to help others?
Torie Smith: Almost instantly.
Even before this, I had always been the person people came to. As a bartender, people would stop by and say, “I don’t even need a drink. I just need to talk to you before I go to work. I need help clearing my head.”
That was my role in high school, too. I’ve always been a good listener and observer. There’s a zoomed-out perspective within me that naturally sees the whole picture.
When I first discovered I was an empath and heard what leaders in that space were saying, I knew immediately my perspective would forge a new path. And because I’ve always been an open book, I started telling people about my awakening.
The feedback was overwhelming. People would say, “Thank you for sharing that. I don’t feel crazy now.”
I realized that when we share our magical experiences, it gives others permission to acknowledge their own. So many people deny what’s presenting itself to them because of fear or belief systems. From the very beginning, I saw how powerful simply sharing can be.
You’ve called your service ‘Empathic Gangster.’ What does that mean?
Torie Smith: Empathic Gangster is the brand. My service is called Galactic Attunement.
I didn’t create the name — it came to me one night. This entire brand feels like it was born through me. I’ve just been the vessel typing it out.
I wanted to define my own version of what it means to be an empath. Almost instantly after my awakening, I realized I had telepathic capacities with source frequency. So “empathic” refers to being an empath with telepathic capacities.
“Gangster”… well, hang out with me for a day, and you’ll understand.
I was sitting on the couch watching a movie with my daughter when I heard the name in my head. My whole body had a visceral reaction. I just knew — that’s it. And it’s taken on a life of its own. People love it. I love it. It encapsulates who I am and how I operate organically.
What is Galactic Attunement? What kinds of people are drawn to you, and what challenges are they facing?
Torie Smith: Galactic Attunement is the process I walk people through.
The people who are drawn to me are usually seeking clarity. They’re frustrated. That was me for most of my life. Everything changed when I discovered what I call galactic law—and began to understand divine cosmic consciousness, the consciousness that flows through every particle of existence. It’s constantly encoding, reflecting, and projecting our belief systems.
What I realized is that our reality — individually and collectively — is a direct reflection of what we believe. We see what we believe. It feeds back to us holographically.
If someone’s belief system is built entirely on social programming, they’re operating from a very limited lens of what it means to be human. Of course, they feel confused or frustrated — that’s the only framework they’ve been given.
For me, this became a deep embodiment process. I quit working for 3.5 years. I sat in the channel. I meditated. I astral projected. I cleared every belief that crossed my mind or came out of my mouth, dissolving anything not aligned with galactic law.
At some point, I realized I needed to help others embody these spiritual laws — not just intellectually understand them, but truly live them.
That’s Galactic Attunement.
You keep mentioning galactic law. Can you explain that for those who aren’t familiar with the term?
Torie Smith: Yeah. You’ve probably heard of the spiritual laws of the universe. I’ve simply framed them more as “law.”
Galactic law is the foundational framework I walk people through. It becomes the lens through which we begin downloading into their awareness as we dissolve social programming. The goal is that, when they move through the world, they see reality through that lens rather than through distortions or inaccuracies.
It’s about embodiment — not just knowing spiritual concepts, but actually perceiving life through them.

How does the Galactic Attunement process work? Is it one session or ongoing?
Torie Smith: There are layers. It’s not one-size-fits-all. It depends on someone’s comfort level.
Some people want to dip their pinky in the water and ease in slowly. Others dive headfirst off a cliff without looking. Everyone is navigating the same multidimensional experience, but each person has a different level of readiness and different belief-system filters.
So it’s very customized. I do recommend that everyone start with step one, a sit-down session. I need to understand your belief system. I need to know why you’re seeing what you’re seeing. We have a real conversation about what you believe and how that’s shaping your reality.
From there, we begin applying pivots based on galactic law. When someone says something, we shift it in real time and reframe it through neutrality — through what galactic law would say about that situation. The goal is that they learn to do that for themselves once they’re back out in the world.
When I moved through the coaching industry, I noticed people often teaching what they had just learned—not what they had embodied. For me, this had to be lived.
I grew up with a lot of frustration and didn’t know why. Once I embodied these principles, that frustration became almost humorous because I understood how to navigate it.
I often describe myself growing up as a volcano. I would erupt unexpectedly — hyperventilating, overwhelmed — because I wasn’t expressing properly and didn’t have clarity. All my encoded abilities were still there, but I didn’t have the conscious awareness or maturity to understand them.
If someone lived on a volcano without knowing it was a volcano — without understanding eruption cycles or duration — they’d be terrified when lava started spewing. Today, we have that scientific understanding. We can make conscious choices.
Galactic law is like that information. It helps you understand what’s happening so you can navigate it more consciously. When an emotional wave hits you, you realize it’s temporary. It’s energetic. It’s clearing. It’s not personal.
And if you return to neutrality, you can extract insight from it instead of drowning in it.
How does neutrality help someone navigate the ups and downs of life?
Torie Smith: Neutrality is like zero-point energy — the land beneath everything. I see emotions as water and neutrality as land. You can have so much fun in the water if you flow with it, but water isn’t the whole picture.
When I zoom back into neutrality, I create stepping stones. I can stand on land and observe the experience from a wider perspective. That gives me awareness of who I am, of what dynamics are happening.
Physically, my life has been amazing. The hardest part has been intimate relationships. Those experiences used to feel like being swept down a river and drowning. I didn’t know how to flow with them or learn from them.
Neutrality changed that. It helped me understand my own interpretations. It removes personalization and victimization. It allows you to see yourself—and the other person—clearly.
The best image I can give is this: life is like a TV screen. If your face is pressed against it, you can’t see the whole picture. But if you sit ten feet back on the couch, you can follow the plot. You understand the storyline.
Neutrality is that zooming back. It’s dissolving personalization and recognizing that, at its core, everything is neutral. We’re the ones assigning meaning.
Energetics are always flowing. They just flow. It’s when we highlight something, label it, select it, and decide it means something that it becomes charged. Otherwise, it’s simply moving through.
How would you say channeling is part of your life now? What does that look like practically? And does it come into play with your clients?
Torie Smith: I’m learning to really dial it in — almost like a switchboard. I’ve watched mediums who can call it in on demand. For me, it doesn’t usually work that way. I’m not summoning it. It just presents itself. It’s more like, “Hello, I’m here.”
Art is one of the main ways it shows up. I move back and forth between skill set, intuition, and what feels like a full channel. And honestly, they work together. There isn’t this rigid separation of, This is a channel, this is a download, this is intuition. It all feels like one cohesive experience.
When I create — whether it’s writing or art — I can feel and almost see the holographic version of it correcting itself in my body. If I type something, even a punctuation mark, and it doesn’t feel right, I immediately sense it physically. I’ll change it, sometimes by something as small as one space bar, and suddenly it feels aligned.
When I wrote my book, Stop Selling, I wrote the entire thing based on that internal accuracy. I could feel when something was correct in my body. It’s multidimensional — almost like I can see the structure of it in another layer while I’m working.
So for me, channeling isn’t this dramatic, separate event. It’s woven into how I create and how I operate.
How do you distinguish between ego, intuition, and channeling? Or do you just let it all flow?
Torie Smith: I realized a long time ago that I’ve never really considered other people’s opinions of me in my journey. An ex once told me, “You’re nothing like your reputation,” and I remember thinking, Oh. Are people watching?
My mind is so absorbed in what fascinates me that I don’t spend time managing perception. So when it comes to ego versus intuition, I think it’s about observing the organic flow of what’s happening inside you.
Did you naturally move into something because it felt exciting and aligned? Or was there a narrative running beforehand — a need to perform, impress, or get approval?
There’s no right or wrong. It’s about awareness. What was the internal dialogue before the action?
It reminds me of being an athlete. Do you have to psych yourself up before stepping onto the court? Or do you just walk on because you know what to do? That difference tells you a lot.
For me, living in flow is where real living happens. And that’s a whole conversation in itself — setting your life up in a way that allows for organic flow. Not overscheduling. Not overcontrolling.
That’s actually part of what I teach in Harmonic Living. Harmonic Living supports the energetic foundation before you even step into something like Galactic Attunement. It’s like the land beneath your feet — creating stability so the flow can happen naturally.

When someone comes to you, do they start with Harmonic Living? Or how does that process work?
Torie Smith: They can, if they want to. But it’s not a formal program they take with me. Harmonic Living is actually becoming a book series — something they’ll have at home for themselves.
What I do is very organic. It flows into conversation.
When someone comes to me and says, “I’m having this experience, and I don’t know what’s going on,” sometimes my first question isn’t cosmic at all. It’s simple:
When’s the last time you put your feet in the grass?
When’s the last time you hugged a tree?
When’s the last time you sat in the sun and let it kiss your cheeks?
That’s Harmonic Living. It’s the land beneath your feet. It’s the energetic foundation before you even get into consciousness shifts or galactic law.
Everything I do is like puzzle pieces that fit together. Being what I call a spirit advisor who pours spirits — being a bartender — that’s one of those pieces. I never would’ve thought it would integrate with this work, but it absolutely does.
As I’ve grown, I’ve realized that to make this digestible, you have to offer it in bite-sized pieces. But it’s all connected.
You’ve been a bartender for about twenty years. How do you introduce these ideas in a digestible way?
Torie Smith: I love this question.
I actually had never even been inside a bar growing up. I was raised in the country — you don’t drink in bars, you drink in dirt lots or by the river. When I moved to Vail, I started as a server. On my first shift, I looked at the bar and thought, I want to be on that side.
So I asked questions. I worked at three other restaurants to get experience until I got behind the bar I wanted.
In high school, I went to AA before I even graduated. I didn’t know how to consume properly. I didn’t know there was a science to it until I became a bartender and went through TIP certification.
What I loved about bartending was that I could be part of the party without waking up hungover. I’d go home with money in my pocket. And I loved the responsibility — the safety aspect.
But I also saw the industry needed heart. People were prioritizing tips over health and safety, and I wasn’t going to do that.
I realized quickly that people didn’t even have to drink alcohol to tip me well. They enjoyed the relationship and the conversation. That’s what they were there for.
Then, after my awakening, I had this epiphany. I was watching research showing that scientists speak love to water, then speak negativity to it, photograph it, and see completely different crystalline structures. Water exposed to loving intention forms these beautiful, symmetrical patterns. The water exposed to negativity becomes chaotic.
And I thought — alcohol is primarily water. It’s made from the most abundant element on Earth. So it can be encoded in any way we choose.
Why not abundance?
Why not unconditional love?
Why not celebrate?
There’s also a social narrative that demonizes alcohol. Shame, judgment, guilt — those frequencies get layered onto the experience. So I started wondering: how much of what people experience when drinking is actually the narrative they’re carrying into it?
So yes — having those conversations while someone is holding a drink in their hand is actually pretty fun.
Because it’s not about preaching, it’s about awareness. It’s about intention. It’s about recognizing that even something as ordinary as a cocktail can become conscious when you shift the lens you’re viewing it through.
What does that conversation look like?
Torie Smith: I never force what I know onto anyone. They have to open the door if we’re going to go down those rabbit holes. If they don’t, we don’t.
Most of the people who sit at my bar are professionals. I live in Vail — many of my guests are millionaires, billionaires, celebrities, and athletes. Once someone has reached that level of success, there’s often this natural curiosity that arises: What’s next? What else is there beyond the physical realm?
So the conversations tend to unfold organically. I don’t jump into anything unless they initiate it. I think that’s the kind thing to do. I don’t believe in planting seeds in people who aren’t asking for them.
What excites me is bringing mindfulness and quantum awareness into everyday experiences — not just alcohol, but also food.
My family is full of athletes. I worked in gyms through college. I’ve been in the food industry for nearly twenty years. And I’ve noticed something simple but powerful:
If someone eats with the belief that they’re fueling and honoring their body, that’s one experience. If someone eats with shame, judgment, or “I’m going to pay for this later,” that’s a completely different experience.
You can see it in their bodies over time.
I worked at a restaurant that kept the same menu for forty years. There was one chef I’d known for decades who had become incredibly stressed and disconnected from joy. When he left, they brought in this playful, lighthearted, music-playing, dancing-in-the-kitchen kind of chef.
The menu didn’t change. But when I served the food, a customer asked, “Did you change something?”
I said, “No. Just the energy of the chef. You can taste it.”
I love having those conversations while people are eating and drinking — because they can feel it in real time.

If someone is interested in working with you — Galactic Attunement, Harmonic Living, or just learning more — what’s the next step?
Torie Smith: The easiest place to start is my website, EmpathicGangster.com. There’s information there and ways to contact me. You can DM me on Instagram or email me at torie@empathicgangster.com.
But I’ll be honest — I thrive in person.
Most of what I do online eventually leads to meeting face-to-face. I love going to people’s homes and working in their sacred space. When I’m physically present in someone’s environment, we can talk about how their surroundings reflect and influence their internal experience.
Most people don’t have conscious awareness of how deeply their environment affects them. When they begin to see that, they can intentionally curate their space — and that creates a powerful transformation.
And at the end of the day, friendship is my favorite thing in the world. I always joke that my clients become “friends with benefits.”
It’s great to be with you, Torie. Thank you for sharing your story and the work you’re doing.
Torie Smith: Thank you so much for having me. This has been really exciting.
I have an entire file of unpublished channel writings. It can feel vulnerable to put that work out there when you don’t know who the audience is. But writing monthly for Awakened Magazine has felt different.
The audience is receptive. I’ve had people read my articles and reach out saying, “I love your vibe. I don’t take this too seriously either. It’s refreshing to see someone having fun with it.”
And that’s just who I am. I don’t know how not to have fun. I’m learning to be more responsible — having children will do that — but this whole experience feels like art. And art is life.
There is so much more to reality than meets the eye. Being able to help open that door for people — to let them see what I see — is incredibly exciting. Because I know how much fun it is.
And then we get to talk about it. Collaborate. Explore together.
That’s the best part.
