If you don’t learn how to forgive, you’ll continue to endure, repeating patterns of struggle, betrayal, limit, and lack.

Forgiveness is the missing piece most people don’t know about when it comes to expanding past current impact and earning levels.

Forgiveness is the sacred must-have business tool that opens you to heal relationships and move on – and also unlocks confidence, clarity, and TRUE abundance at the same time.

It’s a tool anyone can use to unlock personal power and become more productive.

The more you align with your true nature, the more you unleash passion to fulfill your soul’s purpose – in business, relationships, and self-care.

If you don’t learn how to forgive, you’ll continue to sabotage your progress and won’t be able to make a bigger difference with your business or generate a higher income.

Some people believe that forgiving means what was done to them, or what they’ve done to themselves or others means the betrayal goes unpunished.

It can feel really hard to accept betrayals as not punishable because rules were broken and someone is supposed to pay or be punished.

But karma takes care of them.

The trouble is, when betrayals aren’t completely forgiven, blame remains in play.  Instead of using personal energy to build and expand your business, unconsciously, your energy will be tangled up attracting struggle and punishment . . . because someone who is unforgivable still needs to be punished.

Unforgivable means the situation is not over, there has been no lesson, there’s been no justice, no compensation, and no sacred closing of the betrayal.

Most of us aren’t even aware we are carrying the energy of blame or shame.

When you hear yourself say…

“I should have known better” or,

“I should have been stronger or smarter”,

That is a signal that there is something to forgive about yourself.

If you hear yourself saying,

“They should have…”,

That is a signal there is something to forgive about another.

To be clear, if you have stuff in your life that feels like a punishment, or a constant struggle, it’s likely an unforgiven betrayal is the cause.

Unhealed betrayal punishment can look like this:

  • Not being able to take a vacation.
  • Having debt balances that don’t go away.
  • Income never sustained past a certain level … that you wish was higher.
  • Failure to launch new products or services, difficult customers, or not enough customers.
  • Always feeling anxiety, doubt, or guilt.
  • Or, a nagging feeling of not being “GOOD ENOUGH.”

Forgiveness changes your reality because it opens the possibilities of a better future, right away.

Once you’ve forgiven, the universe opens doors that shift in your favor.

Parenting mistakes are marvelous opportunities for self-forgiveness.

Forgiveness frees and releases you from lingering guilt and opens you to hold strong tough-loving boundaries that even adult children need.

Something magical happens with them. All of a sudden they start making their way in the world.

One of my clients blamed herself for parenting mistakes she made as a single mom that left her son partially impaired.

20 years later, he was still leaning on her to pay thousands of dollars for surgery that would repair damage from a long-ago mistake that wasn’t her fault, but she continued to blame herself for making.

Two days after her first forgiveness session, she called to say that her son had found a new doctor with a better, more affordable healing plan.

The day after her second forgiveness session, she was beside herself with joy, because her son, who always had treated her with major disrespect, was apologizing for his behavior, asking forgiveness, and thanking her for being his mom.

She felt a huge weight of responsibility had lifted and no longer felt pulled to take care of his dramas. Instead of putting out his fires all the time, she was able to redirect her energies into building and growing her business – from a place of true service, instead of “I have to earn money to save my son.”

Another client, who was caring for her mother in the final stages of dementia, forgave a lifetime of cruel and insulting narcissistic behaviors.

She shared with me that during a moment of clarity, her mother apologized and thanked her for her unwavering care. After her mother passed, instead of judgment and resentment, my client experienced a profound sense of love and peace for her.  Subsequently, her business revenue doubled almost immediately.

Forgiveness topics that can lead to business breakthroughs are:

  • Past financial traumas – being underinsured, bankruptcy, winning the lotto, or receiving a very large inheritance.
  • Past business betrayals, mistakes, and failures.
  • Parental mistakes, mistreatment, divorce.
  • Relationship betrayals.
  • Self betrayals.

In the physical world, betrayals are mean, nasty, and ugly.

However, when you look at betrayals from a spiritual point of view, betrayals are gifts in disguise – because they provide you the opportunity to express the highest form of love – unconditional love.

In the spiritual world, those who hurt and betray you the most are your finest soul mates because forgiveness requires you to choose to love them anyway – when it is the most difficult for you.

Every time someone forgives themselves, or someone else, a layer of ego dominance is lifted from the collective consciousness of our world.

Not only does your world change for the better, but the entire world also becomes a little bit lighter, healthier, and more aligned with the light.

7 Steps to Heal With Forgiveness

You can begin the forgiveness process on your own by creating a sacred space, asking for Divine Assistance, and taking time to journal, using the 7 steps below.  It’s best to start with a small injustice before tackling major betrayals.

  1. Call in Divine help to support your forgiveness journey.
  2. Ask yourself: What has this betrayal cost me in the past and what is it costing me now?
  3. What is the spiritual gift (lesson) this betrayal is teaching me? (hint: it’s empowering)
  4. Get Angry: Anger is the life force energy of deservingness and change and it needs to be voiced, vented, and validated (in ways that do not harm) so that you become able to see the situation from a higher perspective.
  5. What self-understanding & compassion can you find for yourself for letting yourself be victimized?
  6. If you could be willing, what understanding, compassion, and forgiveness for the betrayer are you willing to accept?
  7. Ask your higher self to help you set an intention for how you’d like the relationship to look moving forward.

Deep work like this — is not easy to do on your own. It requires looking at everyone’s behaviors from a higher perspective and the courage to love and accept beyond stubborn, fully justified judgments.

The best way to embark on a healing journey like this is to team up with an experienced coach and healer, who’s been there, done that, and knows the gentlest, most effective, and Cadillac ways to emerge heart strong, empowered, and victorious.
