Dr. Sharnael Wolverton Sehon - Awakened Magazine

You have been on quite a spiritual journey. I’d love to hear about your upbringing. Did you grow up in a household with faith or spirituality as part of it?

Dr. Sharnael Wolverton Sehon: I do remember going to church a few times as a child—mostly on Easter, Christmas, and similar occasions—but it wasn’t a regular part of our lives. I didn’t even have a Bible until I was 13. It was a Protestant service, since we were a military family and the options were pretty much Catholic or Protestant.

When I was about five or six years old, I had a profound encounter. It happened to be Easter Sunday, and I was at my grandmother’s house. There were a lot of people downstairs, so I went upstairs to a bedroom. Suddenly, a sort of hologram appeared in the room—this man I didn’t recognize. Later in life, I saw a bronzed statue of him on my teacher’s desk and immediately thought, That’s the man who appeared in my room.

I now know him to be Jesus. In that moment, I felt an overwhelming love filling every cell of my body—though at the time, I didn’t have the words to explain it. That experience changed me. I started to sense and know things about people, as if I had more access to their energy field. I would tell others what I was sensing, and it opened up a new dimension of awareness for me as a child.

How did that take shape as you grew older?

Dr. Sharnael Wolverton Sehon: At that age, I literally didn’t even know what a Bible was, but I did know one thing: I wanted everyone I ever came in contact with to truly know and experience the love I felt in that moment of that encounter I had.

I began searching early—for truth, for honesty, for integrity—and sought out people who carried that same frequency. I didn’t have the language for it back then, but in my heart, I felt there must be some vocation where I could bring that love and truth to others.

When I moved to Louisiana at age 13, it was a culture where everyone seemed to go to church. Someone gave me my first Bible, and I began reading about Jesus with the context of who He was from my earlier encounter. Reading about His miracles, I thought, Maybe this is my vehicle—my way of bringing love to others.

By my sophomore year of high school, I devoted my life to full-time ministry. I went to Bible school and seminary, completely absorbed in the New Testament—especially the miracles. Jesus’s words drove me to believe that we would do “greater things than these,” and I wanted to know the formula for how to access that. That search has continued to shape my journey ever since.

You went on to devote yourself as a Christian minister and speaker. How many years did you do that?

Dr. Sharnael Wolverton Sehon: Oh gosh, I still feel like I’m in ministry—just in a different vehicle now. In my mind, my original dream was to be a youth minister. I thought the pinnacle of life would be taking kids bowling, talking about God, and having fun doing it.

But over time, things shifted. I eventually left the church—not because it was bad, but because it no longer aligned with where I was. My work evolved into a teaching role, encompassing speaking at conferences, teaching at retreats, and later expanding to online platforms. I love one-on-one conversations, but I also appreciate being able to push a button, share a message, and reach thousands of people instantly through online classes and resources, without trying to be everywhere at once.

Dr. Sharnael Wolverton Sehon - Awakened Magazine

At some point in your journey, you started experiencing health challenges, and Western medicine didn’t exactly help. What was happening, and what ultimately helped you find healing?

Dr. Sharnael Wolverton Sehon: That was actually a major catalyst for change in my life, though it wasn’t a conscious choice. After working 120 hours a week in ministry for 17 years—flying on six planes a week, eating whatever was available in airports or fast food lines, even while pregnant—I had no balance. It took a toll.

For about seven years, I felt terrible. Following my upbringing in a military family, my instinct was to go to a doctor and do what they said. That path eventually had me on 33 medications at once—not all at the start, but one prescription would lead to side effects, which meant another prescription, and another. I was traveling with a suitcase full of medications, juggling schedules for which ones needed food, water, or certain times of day. It became exhausting.

Despite seeing many specialists, I still wasn’t getting better. Then, while teaching a Dreams and Visions course in another state, the host noticed my lineup of meds and suggested I see someone she knew. I was hesitant—feeling hopeless—but eventually agreed. I’m so glad I did.

This man was an MD who was also deeply conscious of frequency. I had already been teaching about miracles and quantum physics, and he lived at the intersection of science and spirit. He was also a pastor, which made him the perfect bridge for me. He introduced me to natural modalities—things we now call biohacking, like PEMF, ozone therapy, lasers, and hyperbaric chambers. This was back in 2008, long before such approaches were mainstream for me.

He also introduced me to therapeutic-grade essential oils. The right ones carry frequency, and they began shifting my energy field, my body, and my consciousness. Within 16 weeks, I was off all 33 medications and had lost 80 pounds—without changing my diet. I learned that trauma often creates assignments in the limbic system that affect the body and organs. Once those were released, my mind cleared, my physical health improved, and my body began to regulate naturally.

At that point, I thought, Maybe I should also improve my eating habits. So I began cutting out things like eight daily Coca-Colas or constant Doritos meals. Around that time, I kept having dreams about becoming a “naturopath”—a word I’d never heard before. Because of this doctor, I started meeting holistic MD’s and even some ND’s, and I was shifting so quickly that more and more like-minded people entered my life.

One day, while on a plane to a conference, I silently asked God, Do you really want me to be a naturopath? I was 37 years old, a single mom with three kids—it seemed impossible. Just then, I looked out the window and saw a cone on the tarmac with arrows pointing and the words: “ND that way.”

No way.

Dr. Sharnael Wolverton Sehon: Yes. The synchronicities were undeniable. By that Monday, I was enrolled in school. I did my internship with the doctor who had helped me, and becoming a naturopath became a much bigger vehicle for my work.

Healing had always been part of my ministry. And really, all of us are in ministry whether we realize it or not—because ministry simply means loving and serving people. You can do that in any vocation, if and when you choose.

When I started naturopathic school, it wasn’t to open a practice. My goal was simply to learn more techniques, modalities, and understandings so I could help people. But as I healed, something remarkable happened. I would return to the same conferences I’d been speaking at for years, and people wouldn’t even recognize me.

Once, I arrived in Holland to speak at an event I’d done many times. The taxi dropped me off, and I wheeled my suitcases up to the registration table, asking where the green room was. They told me I needed to register. I replied, I’m the speaker, and they looked stunned—they didn’t recognize me at all. This happened over and over.

Before, when I was unwell, my energy, my face, my whole presence reflected that heaviness. I was teaching about God, love, and joy, but I wasn’t feeling them myself. Now, with my health restored, my energy and joy were real—and people noticed.

Church communities began inviting me back to teach about what had helped me, especially essential oils. Oils are mentioned in the Bible 1,600 times, yet no one had pointed that out to me in seminary. I had overlooked it completely, assuming the “physician” of biblical times was handing out prescriptions.

How did the people in the church navigate that transition with you?

Dr. Sharnael Wolverton Sehon: Some embraced it—but in 2008, not everyone did. A lot of churches canceled me, saying I was working with “the devil” for using essential oils. It was controversial at the time, even though oils are clearly referenced in Scripture.

At the time, I also had a machine called Zyto—an electronic biofeedback device. Traditional biofeedback is usually two-way, but this was a uni-technology that could show diagnostics. Some people in the church labeled it “the devil,” which baffled me. They were fine with X-rays, but somehow this was off-limits.

When I came home from conferences, I would have a hundred emails waiting—people asking how I could help them, or their friends and family. Some churches were open; others were afraid. And yes, it was hurtful. I took it personally when I shouldn’t have.

But then I had another life-changing encounter—one that solidified my commitment to this path, no matter what anyone thought.

Dr. Sharnael Wolverton Sehon - Awakened Magazine

Can you share what happened?

Dr. Sharnael Wolverton Sehon: I was at a breaking point. My partner had left. I was in a transitional space between ministry and school, and the church world was in upheaval around me. The divorce didn’t help. At the time, I was on international Christian television for our conferences, and I even had my own interview segment—kind of a “Christian Oprah” style. But because of everything going on, I was canceled from TV after three years.

I was left wondering—do I open a practice? Keep traveling? What’s next? I was a single mom, just finished with school, and trying to figure out my future.

One day, I walked into my living room and immediately sensed something unusual. My living room was still there, but layered over it was what I can only describe as a holographic scene. Two enormous beings stood before me, maybe 14 to 16 feet tall, radiating light in iridescent Easter colors, like tiny moving atoms of light. They were not solid—I couldn’t have touched them—and I was both terrified and deeply drawn to them.

Alongside them was a towering stack of books and an antique-looking desk. One being seemed more feminine, the other more masculine. The female being came around the desk, sat down, and opened one of the books. I couldn’t help but tiptoe closer. Inside were pages and pages of names—people who had been healed, the conditions they’d faced, and the dates—most of them healed through essential oils.

I felt the same overwhelming love I’d experienced as a child during my Easter encounter with Jesus. Then I heard her—not with my ears, but in my mind—ask, What do you want? Shocked that I could “hear” her, I responded, I want to be a part of that.

She looked at the male being, who nodded. Then she looked back at me and said, Okay. She slammed the book shut, pointed directly at me, and said with great seriousness: “Tell them they’re not truly living unless they’re living true.”

The moment she closed the book, everything vanished—the beings, the books, the desk—gone, as if it had never happened. But I was left shaking, vibrating from the inside out.

I sat down, wondering if I was dreaming, but I never “woke up.” From that moment, I had an insatiable drive to learn everything possible about natural healing, consciousness, and frequency—how to raise it, what happens when you do, and how it impacts both body and spirit. I began receiving downloads of information, writing, and sketching nonstop.

That encounter became the foundation of my book The Science of Miracles …. Re-Membering the Frequency of Love. No one had ever taught me what I wrote there—it all came directly from that moment. For me, this became the greatest ministry I could imagine.

In the preface of The Science of Miracles …. Re-Membering the Frequency of Love, you use the metaphor, “You can’t pee in the pool and hope it doesn’t get everywhere.” How does that relate to energy?

Dr. Sharnael Wolverton Sehon - Awakened MagazineDr. Sharnael Wolverton Sehon: For me, I used to compartmentalize life—church over here, education over there, Western medicine in its own category. But in reality, everything is interconnected. When we heal physically, the numbers in our energy field shift, which changes the kinds of people, opportunities, and circumstances we attract. Clearing the physical body creates space in the field for new things to come in.

For example, parasites. They carry their own energy and send a signal to the field that essentially marks someone as a good “host” or “victim.” This attracts other low-frequency experiences—like toxic relationships, bullying at work, or financial blockages. I run monthly parasite cleanses (we jokingly call them “Fix Your Sh*t”). Participants often report not just physical improvements—like more energy, better sleep, and mental clarity—but also surprising life changes, such as improved relationships or unexpected financial breakthroughs.

This connects to the Map of Consciousness by David Hawkins. People functioning below the level of 200 don’t actually have a measurable energy field; they survive by drawing from others. Above 200, a person begins generating their own field, which can be observed with current technology. As consciousness rises, so does the reach of the field—I’ve measured some people’s fields extending up to 20 feet.

For people unfamiliar with what you mean by “field”, how would you explain it simply?

Dr. Sharnael Wolverton Sehon: Think of it like an invisible bubble or belt of energy around you—sometimes called an aura or biofield. It’s made up of everything you think, speak, and especially feel. Feeling is the strongest magnet of all. Your field can also carry inherited information from your DNA—patterns or traits from your family line—which sends signals into the world. These signals can attract both positive and negative experiences, but the good news is they’re changeable.

When we make positive shifts—physically, emotionally, mentally—our field expands, giving us greater access to information. This expansion increases empathy, intuitive abilities, and even psychic perception. Essentially, the field is part of the larger collective field, which holds all information that has ever existed. The Earth itself has a measurable resonance called the Schumann Resonance (around 7.86 Hz). When we operate above 200 on the consciousness scale, we can tap into both our individual field and the collective, gaining clarity, insight, and connection.

Dr. Sharnael Wolverton Sehon - Awakened Magazine

In your book, you talk about the difference between reacting and responding to life. How does that connect to our energy or biofield?

Dr. Sharnael Wolverton Sehon: People operating below 200 on the Map of Consciousness tend to be more reactive. In the brain, their pathways move very quickly and directly to emotion, so there’s little processing time—they just react.

A reaction is like a negative side effect to a pharmaceutical—fast, often impulsive, and not always constructive. A response, on the other hand, is slower and more intentional. As we raise our consciousness, we gain greater access to our right brain, which allows us to slow down, process, and respond wisely.

Your field will always attract a match to what you are. That includes your thoughts, your words, and—most importantly—your feelings. If your heart carries even a trace of fear or doubt, it can send mixed signals, creating what I call “energetic purgatory,” where you take two steps forward and one step back. That’s why joy, love, peace, and ease are not just emotional states—they’re the most powerful magnets for aligning with God-consciousness and attracting positive experiences.

In chapter one, you write, “I re-membered how to hack my miracles.” What does it mean to ‘re-member’ and how do we hack miracles into our lives?

Dr. Sharnael Wolverton Sehon: I love the word rememberRe- means “again,” and member means to “become part of” or “connect with.” So for me, it’s about reconnecting with God in us—remembering who we truly are.

One of my favorite mantras is I am love, and I stay. That means staying consistent—no two-steps-forward-one-step-back pattern. Love doesn’t mean being a pushover; it’s about standing in truth and integrity.

When we create, we send out a wave made of our thoughts, feelings, words, and even our DNA. That wave comes back as an “echo wave,” checking in: Where are you now? If our state has dropped—say from a “10” to a “5”—the return wave adjusts accordingly, attracting at that lower level. But if we maintain a standing wave of love and truth, we keep the signal strong, and the matching experiences that return are aligned with that higher frequency.

On Hawkins’ scale, love calibrates at 500, while Jesus is at 1000. The goal is to raise our frequency as much as possible, because Hawkins found that 85% of the world operates below 200, meaning only 15% of people even have an active field capable of accessing higher awareness, empathy, or the courage to love.

You also offer something called a remote biofeedback scan. How does that work, and what does it tell someone?

Dr. Sharnael Wolverton Sehon: Biofeedback is one of my favorite tools. I also do soul audits, which measure your masculine and feminine energies, identify your top five blocks, show how far out your field extends, and pinpoint where you are on the Map of Consciousness.

With remote biofeedback, we use both a voice recording and a photo. Through voice analysis—what’s called EVOX technology—we can detect patterns and imbalances in the body and field. The photo provides additional data for diagnostics.

We examine all layers: physical, emotional, and spiritual. That includes checking for entities, energetic cords that may need cutting, hormonal imbalances, adrenal and gland health, major organs, environmental sensitivities, EMF exposure, food allergies, skeletal alignment, and more. It’s a comprehensive snapshot of what’s happening in both your body and your energy field.

Dr. Sharnael Wolverton Sehon - Awakened Magazine

This biofeedback scan—you run it through a computer program that gives you this feedback?

Dr. Sharnael Wolverton Sehon: Yes. All the information about your body is in your field. Once we know what’s going on both inside and outside, the system not only identifies where you are diagnostically, but it also creates customized frequencies to send back to you. These frequencies help clear anything negative and raise your overall vibration.

Some diagnostics only show you what is wrong, but biofeedback does both—it gives you the diagnostics and sends corrective frequencies. At first, my logical brain questioned how this could work long-distance. But the doctor I mentioned earlier tested it on me from another state. I didn’t even know he had started until I suddenly felt overwhelmingly tired—so tired I fell asleep sitting upright in my living room with kids, dogs, and cats running around. When I woke up, I saw he had texted me just before I’d dozed off, saying he was about to run the program.

It reminded me of when my satellite TV or car radio goes out—you call the number, they “send a signal,” and everything starts working again. We are all like antennas, sending and receiving. Biofeedback works the same way, though, of course, I use it for positive purposes. After a few sessions, instead of feeling tired, I felt energized—once even cleaning my entire garage and kitchen in a single day.

Clients have had all kinds of breakthroughs-completing books, receiving long-delayed payments, having business ideas, finding new romance/partnership, clearing grief, and stagnant energy. I don’t see biofeedback as something to depend on forever. It’s more like training wheels – you use it until your body “remembers” how to stay balanced and radiant on its own.

One of the other modalities you offer is ozone therapy. Can you explain that for us?

Dr. Sharnael Wolverton Sehon: Ozone therapy is one of my favorite modalities, right alongside essential oils. It’s especially helpful for things like Lyme disease, bacterial overgrowth, and candida. Essentially, ozone floods the body with an extra oxygen molecule, which helps your body absorb oxygen more effectively.

We age—or develop health issues—not because we have to, but often because our ability to absorb oxygen diminishes. That affects our cells, brain, organs, and even our energy field. In my own healing journey, I used ozone IV therapy when reversing cancer in 2015. Back then, an IV cost about $300; now it can be $1,300 or more. Rather than paying those prices or hiring medical staff, I got my own ozone generator—and now I teach others to do the same.

Generators cost about $1,100–$1,200 and can be used in multiple ways:

  • Ear insufflation: Using a stethoscope-like device, ozone enters through the ears, benefiting brain function.
  • Nasal insufflation: Ozone enters through the sinuses, supporting overall body oxygenation.
  • Rectal insufflation: Ozone is introduced through the colon for systemic absorption.
  • Body bag method: You literally sit in a bag as ozone enters through your skin.
  • Vaginal insufflation: For targeted pelvic and reproductive health support.

Before we wrap up, tell us about your card deck, Crystals, Oils, and Decrees. What was the vision behind it, and how can people use it?

Dr. Sharnael Wolverton Sehon: It started with my work in essential oils and the discovery that certain crystals carry the same frequency as certain oils. Coming from the church, crystals were once considered “edgy” or even “witchcraft,” so I did a deep dive into the science. The truth is, crystals are everywhere—in watches, phones, cars—and they’re used because they store and transmit information.

Here’s what I learned: oils can cross the brain and blood barriers, but they don’t record information. Crystals do. So when you use a crystal with an oil, the crystal records that frequency and holds it in your field longer—sometimes long after the oil has dissipated.

I searched for a resource pairing oils with their matching crystals, but couldn’t find one, so I started building my own PDF list. My friends used it so much that I considered making a book. But after realizing the power of images and words to shift frequency—based on a personal healing experience—I decided to create a portable deck instead.

Each card has:

  • The crystal’s properties (emotional, physical, energetic)
  • A matching decree with the same frequency
  • The top companion oils that work with that crystal

People use the cards in all kinds of ways—tucking them into a purse, under a pillow, in a child’s backpack, in a pet’s bed, or even under a plant to charge it. Practitioners like massage therapists, estheticians, and counselors have clients draw a card before a session to enhance the work. You can also use them like flash cards to learn crystal-oil pairings.

I didn’t realize at first that sending these decks out into the world would mean my “babies” would be in homes across the globe—but now I love knowing they’re spreading frequency and love everywhere.

Where can people learn more about remote biofeedback scans, ozone therapy, your deck, and your other offerings?

Dr. Sharnael Wolverton Sehon: Everything’s at DrSharnael.com. I offer online classes, biofeedback scans, soul audits, my books (I’ve written five), the Crystals, Oils, and Decrees deck, and lots of free resources through my newsletter. You’ll also find links to all my social media and my YouTube channel, where I host a weekly podcast every Thursday at noon. You can even watch years’ worth of past episodes with incredible guests—and I’d love to have you as a guest, too!

Dr. Sharnael Wolverton Sehon - Awakened MagazineFor those who are feeling overwhelmed or hopeless about their health, what encouragement would you offer?

Dr. Sharnael Wolverton Sehon: Number one—live true. Living truth will transform your inner world, and that naturally shifts your outer world. By living true, I mean aligning every part of your life—your job, your mission, your relationships, your daily choices, even what you eat and drink—with your inner knowing. If you get an intuitive nudge to go to the grocery store at two o’clock, even though you have something else planned, consider rearranging to honor that guidance. It’s not about ghosting commitments, but renegotiating with integrity so you can follow what feels right.

That angelic being once told me, “You’re not truly living unless you’re living true.” When you live this way, your nervous system relaxes, you increase immunity, your mind clears, and you can receive the information and wisdom you need – not just to know truth, but to embody it.

I know many people are carrying heavy emotional loads. In biofeedback scans, I often see the residue of past traumas, DNA patterns, or low-frequency influences. Western medicine might say those can’t be cleared—but they can. Once you clear what’s weighing you down, your energy rises, you feel better, and you can fully step into your mission.

Every person has a unique path—something only you can do. No one else can walk it for you, but you can. Often, the first step is simply getting a clear picture of where you are, through tools like a soul audit or biofeedback. Once you see the patterns and blocks, we can shift them quickly—and it’s not a long, grueling process. It can be surprisingly easy.

Sharnael, thank you so much for sharing your story, your heart, and your wisdom. I really appreciate the work you’re doing in the world.

Dr. Sharnael Wolverton Sehon: Thank you for having me. I’ve enjoyed this so much, and I deeply appreciate you, your work, and your service.

"Every person has a unique path—something only you can do. No one else can walk it for you, but you can."
