Let’s Set the Akashic Record Straight in the Aquarian Age

I would not say I am a person who fully understands technology, and certainly would never be considered for a job in an Apple store. Still, I have found that computers and devices are the perfect metaphor for helping us discover the wisdom in our souls. They can also help us understand how the esoteric mystery of the Akashic Records can be understood and how they can also become a daily part of spiritual life. It seems appropriate that, as we step into a New Age of Aquarius with everything in life “going up in the air,” our most ancient wisdom and technology can be a tool of the future.

Let me explain.

For the past 25 years, I have followed spiritual teachings from around the globe, and in 2005, while on a sacred journey in Egypt, my psychic consciousness opened to the realm of past lives. In certain temples, I began seeing my past lives and witnessing those of others—as their faces changed and their clothing shifted to different time periods. At that time, I thought I was losing my grip on reality. However, a wise friend told me I was accessing the Akashic Records of myself and, apparently, I had the gift of seeing others’ records as well.

Now, this piqued my curiosity, and I began to follow the concept down the rabbit hole, seeking not just understanding, but also immersion in the records as a spiritual tool to help myself. Back then, however, an Akashic Records reading was mainly about discovering who or what you had been in a past life, along with any contracts or curses you had carried. I listened to many teachers and spiritual mentors who referenced the Akashic records, and the same message came back time and time again:

“Akashic, from the word Akasha, is a mystical concept of a universal, energetic library that contains the energetic imprints of every thought, word, feeling, and action from the past, present, and future of all life forms.”

Great information, but seriously, so what? It was just more detail about me, and my logical left brain could not find great value in it. I began to wonder how the Akashic Records could become a spiritual realm for healing, clearing, and achieving clarity of the soul journey.

My Aries brain and Aquarius heart mulled this over, and I began to use every Oracle card reading with my clients as a testing ground to craft sessions where the Akashic records could be put in motion rather than remain a static library of information.

My breakthrough came when teaching an online class in China during COVID. My Mandarin skills are limited, so I had to find ways to connect quickly and effectively with students that didn’t rely on the spoken word.

In one such class about the Akashic Records, a student asked me how she could best serve her soul and karmic path. She explained that she could not connect to the Akashic records and wanted to shift her psychic block. To her, it felt too hard, beyond reach.

Without thinking, I picked up my iPhone and said, “OK, do you resonate with the fact that I can dial your number on this phone, and even though we are thousands of miles away, we can communicate?” She nodded and smiled. I told her, “That’s simply Wi-Fi,” and she agreed.

I then explained to the class that our brains contain a kind of spiritual Wi-Fi that can tap into another person’s energy or the energy of the universe. The universe and our souls hold a database of information, like libraries.

I watched the students begin to nod. I then asked them to think about their bodies as hardware, like computers that store mountains of information. The Akashic Records, I suggested, are the software.

They are full of files, storylines, and images. More people I could see in the class were making the connection or understanding, and I began to see the confusion fade away.

I asked another student how they handled their computer, and they said they would regularly send old, unnecessary files to the trash, update outdated contracts, check that they had stored important data safely, and they regularly used software protection. From there, the conversation continued. We began to view the Akashic Records from this perspective.

Heads nodded, and smiles began to appear, and I knew my students had found a concept that felt comfortable and real to work with. We all laughed when I said that if this had been 300 years ago, we would have been burned at the stake for saying such things out loud.

And in that 90-minute class, it became crystal clear. All those classes on manifestation, karmic contracts, and spiritual healing can be powerful, but if your soul’s database is already overloaded with outdated programs (old relationships and beliefs), spam (other people’s projections and negative projections). You are probably running at a slower pace in life, and it feels like you’re going round in circles. Worse still, you could be that spinning color wheel that freezes your life and crashes your nervous system.

So, here is my invitation to you to set your Akashic Records straight.

1. Look at your key relationships in your life and the programs or beliefs you have with these people. Do you want to change the database of people and the karmic connections they have with you?

2. Step back and look at your career and soul path. Are they aligned with your best self?

3. Do you have a positive connection to wealth and abundance? What seems to be your cycle with money? Do you feel you have blocks or ancestral karma?

These are just three simple questions, and because most of my clients ask about Akashic Records pertaining to health, wealth, happiness, and soul purpose, they are a great place to start.

Now, here are a few steps to get you started. Take time to examine your unfinished business or blockages, and then imagine you are rewriting the karma or contract. Take time to delete beliefs that no longer serve you. Remember: When you are in your heart space, your spiritual Wi-Fi is switched on and aligned with the universe.

Take positive action to live your heaven on earth without the burden of carrying out dated programming that no longer serves your soul.

Oh, and a word to the wise: Contrary to popular belief, you cannot, I’m afraid, erase a person, event, or past timeline, as these are held in the Akashic Records of others. You are simply shifting your karmic and emotional attachments to the relationship or situation. And you may just find you have plenty of space in your life for new and exciting opportunities.
