My Healing Business was like an Old Pair of Underpants

My worst fear had just come to life. I ran into one of my students in the grocery store. But I was not shopping. I was working there! I was sorting through mushy tomatoes in the produce department, wearing my green vest, and I heard someone call my name. I turned around to see a student from my intuitive development class standing before me. Her look of confusion and disappointment mirrored my internal shame for needing a job. 

I’d done all the things you’re supposed to do. I ran summits, had funnels, hired virtual assistants, employed someone to evaluate my social media, took LOTS of courses, ran masterclasses, and was on the hamster wheel of content creation. I even ran a free membership program, which I planned to charge people for soon. I was constantly trying to FIX my business. At some point, I just gave up. I was stuck. So, there I was, living with my parents and working in the produce department.

I realized that my unfulfilling business was like an old pair of underpants – not supportive, falling apart, and fraying at the seams. So, why was it so hard to get rid of them? Why did I stick with a broken business for so long? These underpants and I had been through a lot together. They’re all I’d ever known. They’d become my identity. Creating new classes and hiring more experts were the proverbial safety pins & duct tape – trying to hold it all together. In reality, it was time to let it all go and create something new.

I dove deeply into my own healing, money blocks, mindset, and quantum embodiment. I took a hard, honest look at my business and how I was using my energy. I eliminated the free membership and single-session options. I became laser-focused on female SOULpreneurs and their evolution. I only accepted people dedicated to working with me for a period of six months. I increased my fees by 500%. 

Contrary to what logic may suggest, I began to get MORE clients! I did not change my strategy, create any new funnels, or hire any helpers. All I did was work on myself, create a single offer that was magnetic with an energetically aligned price point,  and my soul-aligned clients began to literally appear. I was expending less energy and making more money! Wow. I now have the freedom to travel with my two cats and a laptop. My grocery store experiences are now strictly as a customer. 

The truth is, most of us are playing too small. We’re doing what we’re supposed to do, and our business is falling flat. When we focus on ourselves, it can help us tune into our soul-aligned offer and step into the next level of ourselves. You are an infinite, Divine being. When you truly embody this, your business will expand beyond your wildest dreams.
