How does a man who lost everything—his business, his home, and his sense of identity—emerge even stronger as a spiritual teacher guiding others into self-mastery, healing, and love?

For Shaman Rah, awakening wasn’t a single revelation but a series of initiations—a relationship that shattered his illusions, nights of meditation that opened portals to past lives, and encounters with unseen energies that redefined his understanding of reality itself. From homelessness and surrender to rebuilding his life through sound, frequency, and faith, his journey became a living map of transformation.

Today, through his teachings on the Five Channels of Awareness and the Five Cycles of Change, Rah helps others navigate their own awakenings with courage, compassion, and trust. Alongside his wife and spiritual partner, Angel, he hosts retreats, sound-healing events, and sacred ceremonies that remind seekers of one essential truth—what’s on the inside always becomes the world around you.

Shaman Rah - Awakened Magazine

It’s an honor to be with you. I want to hear about your own story of awakening to mindfulness and spirituality. I know you’ve said it was a little turbulent there, but I’d like to start with your childhood. Did you grow up with some faith experience, or did that come to you later in life?

Shaman Rah: Yes, actually—it’s very interesting. I grew up in the Bahá’í Faith, so I was born into it. The Bahá’í Faith is about progressive revelation, racial unity, and the equality of all. One of its main teachings is the individual investigation of truth, and that really shaped me. It opened me up to explore spirituality for myself, and that’s what led me onto the path I walk today.

My parents raised me with a strong spiritual foundation and a deep respect for spirit. But, you know, as a kid growing up in the inner city, we also had fun and got into the usual things.

Did you find that there were parts of the Bahá’í Faith that worked for you and others that didn’t? Was there a moment when you thought, “Okay, this isn’t working for me—I need to explore beyond this”?

Shaman Rah: I would say yes and no. There wasn’t a specific part of the faith that pushed me away. It was more than the principle of investigating your own truth that led me to explore further. I started searching, going beyond religion and into spirituality—into myself. That’s when the door really opened, and everything began to change.

And what were the circumstances that brought that change?

Shaman Rah: The first major shift came through a relationship when I was around thirty-seven. In that relationship, I saw my mirror—and it wasn’t pretty. It forced me to look inward, to soul-search, and to understand who I truly was. I wanted to learn how to master myself.

I always tell people: please, please, please look at who you are. We wear masks all day long, conforming to social expectations, and forget who we really are. That relationship showed me that I wasn’t as kind or as “together” as I thought. She was the perfect mirror, and that reflection kicked me into gear.

From there, I was led to meditation. At the time, I was working as a personal trainer and owned a couple of gyms. I started noticing something profound: when I worked with clients—like one young artist from Jive Records whose body transformed in 21 days—I realized I was using the mind to prime the spirit. I was funneling information into the mind, nurturing it, and the body simply followed. That fascinated me.

He was Native American and very spiritual, and he taught me a few things that opened the door to meditation. I began seeing repeating numbers everywhere—back in 2006—and that was the start. During one deep meditation, what felt like 20 minutes turned out to be six hours. When I came out of it, I saw seven of my past lives—my purpose, what I was here to do, how I was meant to lead through spirit. That experience opened me up to what I now call the shamanic journey, where spiritual energies began teaching me directly.

They came subtly at first, until 2012—but that’s another story. Still, that was the beginning: meditation, awakening, and learning to navigate spirituality from within.

When people begin their spiritual journey, they often don’t realize that awakening means stripping away ego. The ego is usually tied to all the material things in our lives. Around 2009, I realized I was operating from ego and needed to change. I wanted to be “the most spiritual,” “the most powerful magician,” and Spirit basically said, Okay, then you must be stripped of everything born from ego.

So I lost everything. In 2010, I became homeless. I was living in my car for a while. My gym was failing, so I moved into the office and stayed there for 18 months. I kept thinking, I’m trying to be spiritual—why am I losing everything? But spirituality was showing me what I needed to release.

My negative thoughts about the business were creating a negative reality. That’s why I now teach The Power of Positive Thought—because positive thoughts create positive realities. I learned that lesson firsthand.

Then one night, around 2011, something extraordinary happened. I often heard footsteps—a woman’s heels—around the gym late at night. I wasn’t the only one; others heard them too. One night, after drinking too much, I was alone in the office and heard the steps again. The door opened, and I felt a feminine presence enter and lie on top of me. My entire body started vibrating—like being plugged into electricity.

Instead of fear, I felt peace. After about forty-five seconds, it ended. When I stood up, I was completely sober. Everything—the alcohol, the fog, the old thoughts—was gone. I was clear, present, and awake. That moment marked the death of my old paradigm.

Within thirty days, my gym went from barely surviving to thriving, with a monthly revenue increase from $25,000 to $30,000. Everything changed when my mindset changed. Spirit showed me how simple a transformation really is.

From there, the path accelerated. By 2012, I had a beautiful home on four and a half acres with a pool and tennis court, and I had full custody of my children. Life was flourishing.

Every Saturday, after closing the gym, I hosted guided meditations, which drew fifteen to twenty people each week. Eventually, I realized I wanted to do this full-time. Fitness could transform bodies, but I wanted to transform souls.

Around 2012 or 2013, I met a spiritual mentor who gave me the Seal of Solomon. When I activated it, my life changed forever.

Shaman Rah - Awakened Magazine

Seal of Solomon? I’m not familiar with that. What does this mean?

Shaman Rah: Oh man. The Seals of Solomon—if you know the story of King Solomon from the Bible—refer to his power over spiritual entities and energies. There are 144 seals in total: 72 of the light and 72 of the lesser light. I didn’t work with the lesser light—I chose the light.

I wasn’t looking for fame or fortune. What I wanted was to help people, to guide them out of confusion and stuckness, and to help them change their mindset. The seal I activated was one that could alter the natural order of events. And when I activated it—whew—everything changed.

How do you activate the seal? I want to learn more.

Shaman Rah: You activate it through a ritual. You have to do it at 2:00 a.m. There’s a specific psalm to read, a particular oil and incense to use, and a prayer that must be said.

Why does it have to be 2:00 AM? Come on.

Shaman Rah: Well, 2:00 AM is when spiritual activity is at its peak. From about two to three in the morning, the veil between worlds thins. You want that veil as thin as possible when you’re calling in angels and spiritual energies to assist you.

So you activate the seal—what happened next?

Shaman Rah: The very next night, I walked from my bedroom into my prayer room—and stepped straight into a powerful energy field, just like the one I felt years before when that feminine presence lay on top of me.

As I passed my altar, a cross that had been sitting on a bowl of water suddenly jumped off and smashed at my feet. That was Spirit’s way of getting my attention. Then, as I stepped forward, I entered this vibrating field of energy and started crying uncontrollably—tears of release, of recognition. I felt overwhelming joy and peace.

From that point, I had another massive paradigm shift. I was opening up to a new spiritual path, one free of judgment and conditioning. For two years, two beams of light came through the same window every night, shining directly on that spot where the cross had been.

During that time, I went through what I call night school. Every night for two years, I dreamt of Egyptian spirits who came to teach me. I kept seeing one figure—an Egyptian deity named Thoth, the god of wisdom and writing. When I activated the Seal of Solomon, Thoth appeared and began teaching me directly, imparting divine knowledge so I could help others.

He told me, There is only one God. We are expressions of that God. You don’t worship us—you worship God. That was a pivotal teaching.

Then I learned of an initiation program led by a teacher named Drunvelo Melchizedek, who offered “The Illuminating Heart.” I signed up—but when the confirmation email arrived, my entire inbox was mysteriously wiped clean. No messages, no trace of the registration. Weeks later, the emails suddenly reappeared, but by then, I couldn’t attend. Spirit was showing me that it wasn’t my true initiation path.

The very next day, out of nowhere, a book appeared: The Awakening Illuminated Heart by Nikki Scully and Linda Starwolf—Shamanic Mysteries of Egypt. That book became my true initiation.

A few weeks in, the practice required me to symbolically place my heart in a scarab jar—a sacred ritual for protection and renewal. Not long after, a real scarab beetle appeared in a glass cup above my front door’s light fixture. No one in the house had ever seen it before. I felt I shouldn’t disturb it, so I left it there.

After I completed the ritual, the scarab died—its bright colors faded. A few weeks later, my cousin came to visit and noticed it. I told him the story, and he said, “Well, if it works for you, cool.” I mentioned that the final step of the initiation was to give life.

That weekend, we sat together on the back porch. I took down the glass with the scarab and said, “I guess I’ll discard it now.” Just then, three hawks flew overhead—always a sign for me that something’s about to happen. I reached into the glass, and the beetle suddenly came back to life. Its colors brightened, it climbed onto my finger, looked at me, then at my cousin, then flew away.

We both sat there stunned.

Phenomena like that continue to happen in my life—to remind me that there’s something far greater at work than just us.

And I can’t deny it. I can’t deny any of it.

That story began, and then I started learning hypnosis. Hypnosis led me into deeper meditation, and then I discovered the power of sound. Sound took me into a space where I could truly help people—because frequencies change everything.

Frequencies can be just as powerful as plant medicines. I love using sound frequencies for healing, though I’m not opposed to plant medicine. I just encourage people to start with the frequencies, the education, and the meditation first. That way, when you do take that big leap into plant medicine, you already know how to stay grounded and navigate the experience—rather than making that shift and thinking, What do I do now?

Shaman Rah - Awakened Magazine

Thank you so much for sharing. I know that’s just part of your story, but it’s very powerful. I’m curious—as you now work with individuals as a coach and shamanic guide, what are the primary problems or challenges that people come to you with?

Shaman Rah: Most people are trying to find themselves. They’re lost in their spiritual awakening and don’t know what to do. I have people who’ve been contacted by extraterrestrials or higher spiritual guides and are unsure how to process that. These guides are trying to show them something—offering them a frequency they’re not yet accustomed to.

So we backtrack. We relearn who we are. I help them understand that their original essence is that frequency. When they reconnect to their authentic self—learning, loving, and expressing who they are—they return to that higher vibration. Then they can step into whatever teachings or energies are coming their way and begin to flourish in their higher awareness.

Most of the people I work with are either newly awakened and overwhelmed, or they’ve been searching for a long time and suddenly hit a massive shift. Some just come for relaxation or guided meditation to test the waters—but many arrive in the midst of spiritual confusion, seeking understanding and direction.

I know you work, like most spiritual guides, mainly through the power of Zoom—but you also do a lot locally in Atlanta. I’m curious about how the southern culture, with its strong Christian roots, affects your work there.

Shaman Rah: Oh yes, that’s a real thing here. First of all, I always lead with love and a nonjudgmental heart. People will only question or resist what I do when their consciousness is limited by what they’ve been taught. So my approach is to meet them where they are.

Sometimes people come to me saying, “This isn’t what I’ve been taught. What is this?” And I tell them, That’s okay. My goal isn’t to change your beliefs—it’s to help you find yourself. When you truly know yourself, you can go deeper into whatever path you’re already on—whether it’s Christianity, another religion, or your own spiritual practice.

Every soul matures at its own pace. Some souls need to walk through dogma and structured systems before they can create their own unique perspectives. As I like to say: You have to be mastered before you can master.

Tell me about the individuals you connect with. Are you noticing any differences in how people from different backgrounds approach spirituality? Is there more openness among African Americans in your area?

Shaman Rah: That’s a great question—definitely. My community is very diverse. I work with just as many Caucasian clients as I do African American, Iranian, Middle Eastern, African, or Asian clients. My heart is open; I don’t focus on any particular group or race.

Shaman Rah - Awakened Magazine

And even your upbringing in the Bahá’í Faith emphasizes unity, right?

Shaman Rah: Exactly. The Bahá’í Faith is extremely inclusive—it’s actually the second most diverse religion in the world, after Christianity. Diversity has been a part of my experience from the start.

Here in the South, I’ve noticed a growing acceptance of African spiritual traditions. Many people are leaving the church and exploring new paths that feel more authentic to them. My own teachings come from the Egyptian lineage—from Kemet—so it’s a little different from traditional African spirituality, but ultimately they all align.

What I’ve learned is that every deity, from every culture, is essentially the same divine energy expressed under a different name. When I was shown the realms of the ascended masters, I saw how each culture interprets those truths in ways that its people can understand.

So I approach my community in the same way—through openness, compassion, and unconditional love. I want people to feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow. For me, it’s simple: I don’t get caught up in segregation or division, because the soul is about unity.

The ego is what creates separation. When we live from our spiritual self, there are no color lines—everything and everyone is one.

One of the things I really admire about you, watching your content, is that you’re such a natural teacher. In your videos, whatever topic you’re articulating, there’s always such thoughtfulness and intention behind it—and I really admire that.

One of the things you often share online, and weave into your work, is what you call the Five Channels of Awareness. What are they, and why is it important for us to understand them?

Shaman Rah: These 5 channels of awareness I learned from an online course by Kaira Mayestra which is great. Our physical body is the number one messenger—it never lies. The mind can trick us, but the body always tells the truth. These channels show us what’s really happening, both within and around us.

The first is mental—your thoughts. Maybe you’re driving or sitting quietly, and a random thought pops into your mind. That’s not accidental—it’s a message. Your body is delivering information through that mental channel.

The second is visualization. You might start seeing images or symbols, or experience daydreams and visions that seem to carry meaning. Sometimes it’s as subtle as a passing mental picture, and other times it’s vivid energy or scenes appearing before you. All of it is your system’s way of saying, Pay attention—there’s something to learn here.

The third is body posture, one of my favorites. When you’re in conversation—especially doing shadow work—you can literally see the body communicate. Someone crosses their arms, shifts their legs, fidgets, or turns away. These movements reveal subconscious reactions. I record many of my client sessions and ask them to rewatch. They’ll often say, “Wow, I didn’t even realize I did that when you asked certain questions.” Body language is an incredible teacher—it’s a direct channel of awareness.

So the first one is thoughts, the second is visualization, and the third is body posture. What comes next?

Shaman Rah: The fourth is sensations—what you feel in your body. Maybe it’s butterflies in your stomach, a chill on your skin, or the hair standing up on your arms. These sensations are signals. They can warn of danger, mark a moment of spiritual activation, or let you know that something around you needs your attention.

It’s like how a dog suddenly barks or pulls its owner aside before danger—animals live fully attuned to this channel. We have the same instinct, but most of us ignore it. Sensations tell us: Something’s happening. Be aware.

The fifth is emotions. When you suddenly feel happy, sad, or emotional out of nowhere—pause and ask: Why am I feeling this? Sometimes you’re absorbing someone else’s energy or pain. Emotions are a language of awareness, showing us what’s resonating in the unseen.

When I perform energy clearings, I may physically sense a client’s pain or intuit their emotional experience through one or more of these channels. All five work together to help us understand what’s truly occurring on energetic, emotional, and spiritual levels.

When we learn to listen to our body’s feelings, sensations, and emotions, we tap into our innate intelligence. The body is pure truth—it’s nature itself.

Do you find that people early in their awakening tend to rely on one channel and ignore the others?

Shaman Rah: Yes, absolutely. Most people gravitate toward the one they understand best. That’s why I start by helping them notice something tangible—like body posture—because it’s easier to observe and verify. Thoughts, on the other hand, can be confusing. People wonder, Is that my thought, or someone else’s?

It all comes down to practice. I always say, practice, practice, practice, practice, practice, practice, practice, practice, practice. The more you practice noticing these channels, the easier they are to recognize and navigate.

I tell people to start with the channel that feels most natural, then expand. Sometimes you’ll experience one channel at a time; sometimes two, three, or all five simultaneously. The key is to stay open and flexible. The moment you think you know it all, your awareness dulls.

Stay curious. Keep learning. That’s how your awareness stays sharp and your connection to truth remains alive.

Shaman Rah - Awakened Magazine

One of the main themes in your work is self-mastery. What does that mean to you, and how do you help your clients cultivate it?

Shaman Rah: For me, self-mastery means self-love. It’s loving yourself enough to express who you truly are and to live authentically. In other words, self-mastery encompasses three key aspects: self-love, self-expression, and authenticity.

When we master ourselves, we can finally love ourselves freely and express who we are without fear. That level of authenticity brings a freedom that many people have never experienced. And that’s what I want for others—to feel the freedom to be their true selves.

We wear so many masks every day, trying to fit into roles or meet others’ expectations. Some of us have jobs where we have to fake it constantly—and it’s exhausting. When we live like that, we shift our vibration away from our truth, and we can’t attract what’s really meant for us.

That’s exactly how I approached my own relationship and marriage. I had to change my vibration by mastering myself—learning love, understanding surrender, and opening fully to divine partnership. When you do that, your partner becomes a mirror, showing both your challenges and your triumphs. That’s part of mastery, too.

When I think of the word “self-mastery,” I tend to associate it with control—such as disciplining myself not to do what I want, forcing myself to make the “right” choices every day, what you’re describing sounds completely different.

Shaman Rah: It is completely different—because what you’re describing isn’t mastery, it’s dogma. That kind of control is conditioning. True mastery isn’t about suppressing yourself to fit someone else’s standard—it’s about freeing yourself from those standards altogether.

When you master yourself, you stop living by other people’s rules. It’s empowering, not restrictive. In my friendships and relationships, people often ask how I express myself so freely. It’s because I’ve learned—and keep learning—to master myself. Every day there’s a new layer, a new aspect to discover. And that’s fun.

I see life as happening for me, not to me. That perspective changes everything. Remember how I turned around my gym? It started with shifting my mindset. When we look at challenges not as punishments but as lessons, we open ourselves to growth. That’s self-mastery—seeing from a higher perspective.

We spend so much time labeling things as “right” or “wrong.” But who decides that? My truth might not be your truth. All truths are partial, filtered through conditioning. If someone taught you that red is called blue, you’d believe it. Truth is shaped by what we’ve been taught to perceive.

That’s why religion, for all its beauty, often creates division—it conditions people to think their path is the only right one. And that’s where conflict begins. But if we could each say, “This is what I believe, and that’s what you believe, and that’s okay,” we’d finally reach peace and unity.

So when I talk about self-mastery, it starts there—accept yourself. When you can do that, you’re already living in freedom.

I had a crazy experience a couple of weeks ago in Egypt.

Our guide, who was with us for ten days, was absolutely incredible—an Egyptologist who could read hieroglyphics and explain the temples in amazing detail. He was also Muslim, of course, being from Egypt.

At one point, we started talking about world affairs, and he told me he was a supporter—not just of Palestine, but specifically of Hamas. And my mind was blown as someone from the United States, which hit me hard. I know there are people in the U.S. who support Palestine, but I had never met someone who openly said they support Hamas.

In that moment, I realized how deeply conditioned I was. I even said to him, “The entire U.S. media has taught me that Hamas is satanic—and yet, here I am sitting with you, someone I really like and respect.” It was such a jarring experience. But it reminded me of what you’ve been saying: that we all carry different conditioning, shaped by our culture and perspective.

Shaman Rah: Right, exactly. I love that example.

Shaman Rah - Awakened Magazine

It’s the same mindset I try to bring to conversations like this one—with curiosity, not judgment. I don’t want to ask the “wrong” kind of question; I just want to understand.

Shaman Rah: And that’s the perfect approach. Curiosity is childlike—and we have to return to that childlike wonder if we want to expand and ascend. When we ask with open hearts instead of trying to prove or defend something, that’s when real understanding happens.

Yes. I try to enter other people’s experiences as much as possible—to ask questions, to listen. That’s one of the reasons I love conducting these interviews. I get to learn from people whose lives and perspectives are completely different from my own.

Shaman Rah: Absolutely. That’s the path of true growth—staying open, asking questions, and learning from each other without judgment.

As you guide people through transformation—and I know one of your specialties is helping those who are awakening to navigate that process—you often talk about what you call the Five Cycles of Change. Could you break those down and explain why they’re important?

Shaman Rah: I first learned about this system through the book Shamanic Breath Work, written by  Nikki Scully and Linda Starwolf, where I learned about the 5 stages of change. They describe it in their work on Shamanic Breathwork—a process that explores what they call the Five Cycles of Conscious Change.

It really resonated with me because it makes so much sense. To explain it simply, I like to compare the cycles to those of pregnancy and childbirth.

The first stage is Water—the inception point. It’s the beginning, the moment of conception. Water represents fluidity, the space where an idea or inspiration is first conceived. It’s not yet form—it’s thought, imagination, potential.

Then we move into Earth. Earth represents growth and development. It’s where that idea begins to take shape, just like a fetus growing in the womb. It’s safe, dark, and protected. During this stage, we’re learning, building, and forming structure. But Earth can also become comfortable—too comfortable. Just as a baby might not want to leave the womb, we can resist leaving what feels safe and familiar, even when it’s time to evolve.

Next comes Fire—the transformation. This is the rite of passage, the labor, the birth canal. It’s when we move from darkness into light, from water to air. Fire is uncomfortable, even painful, because it’s the destruction of the old and the emergence of the new. But it’s also where we truly evolve.

After fire comes Spirit. Spirit is the gentle embrace after transformation—the energy that reassures us, “You’re okay. You made it.” It’s the stage of integration, where you start to understand what you’ve gone through and feel supported by something greater.

And finally, there’s Air—the expansion. This is where we stretch, grow, and rise into our next level of being. Air is freedom, movement, and limitless possibility. It’s the stage where we step fully into who we’ve become.

The beautiful thing is that we can be in different stages of this cycle in various areas of our lives. Maybe in your relationships, you’re in Fire—going through transformation—while in your career, you’re still in Water, conceiving a new idea. It’s all happening simultaneously.

That makes so much sense. You could be in the midst of Fire in one part of your life, and in Water or Earth in another.

Shaman Rah:  That’s why I help people learn to identify where they are in each area. Awareness is key.

And intentions are what guide us through those stages. Just like using GPS, you have to put in a destination. When we set clear intentions before each session or ceremony, we’re giving Spirit an address to work with. Once we reach that goal, we set a new one and keep expanding.

Transformation doesn’t happen all at once—it happens step by step, moment by moment. Like I always say, you eat an elephant one bite at a time.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard that metaphor before—maybe I’ve just missed it—but the GPS analogy really stuck with me.

Shaman Rah: I heard the concept you eat an elephant one bite at a time when I was in sales in my early 20’s. The GPS analogy came from my co-host from Conversations in Courage, which was the number-one podcast in Canada and also aired on a Cleveland radio station, Dr. Kareem Ellis, wrote a book called GPS Your Success. He makes it so simple. He even gave a short, powerful talk with Grant Cardone that just nailed it. That’s where I really learned about using the GPS as a metaphor for setting intentions—you put in your destination, and then you let Spirit guide you there.

Shaman Rah - Awakened Magazine

I know that you were in Egypt last year with a group of individuals, and you’ve said you had a vision of someone on that trip that turned into a remarkable relationship. Tell us about that.

Shaman Rah: Yes. I was in Egypt with a special group, and we were doing plant medicine ceremonies. During one of the deep journeys, I had a vision of a woman I knew—someone who had worked with me a couple of years before. She appeared in my vision, smiling peacefully, radiating this calm energy. I remember thinking, Why am I seeing her?

At first, I brushed it off as my imagination. But the next day, during another ceremony, her face appeared again—clear as day. At that point, I couldn’t ignore it. So I sent her a message and said, “Hey, I need to talk to you when I get back home.”

When I returned, we talked—and it turned out she had the same feelings. We were both surprised but also completely aligned. We’d each been doing deep shadow work for years, preparing ourselves for our divine partners without even realizing it. Earlier that year, I had told Spirit, I’m ready. I’m ready for marriage, for love, for family. I’m ready to meet my divine partner. And that’s exactly what happened.

That’s why intentions are so powerful. When you clearly state your destination, the universe aligns to take you there.

Now we work together. She supports me in the deep spiritual journeys and healing work I do. My focus is on meditation, sound, and frequency—I use sound as medicine. Over the years, I’ve learned to produce music and play various instruments, including the keyboard, flute, drums, percussion, handpans, and sound bowls. Spirit taught me how to combine specific notes to create frequencies that align the body’s cells for healing.

She brings in the feminine energy that balances mine. Together, we create a powerful healing container—masculine and feminine working in harmony. She also developed a unique form of yoga called Soul Formation Yoga, where she speaks affirmations to your soul while guiding you through poses, all supported by healing sound frequencies. Afterward, we lead a guided meditation and sound journey to integrate the experience. We offer this every Sunday in Atlanta—it’s a truly sacred space.

And her name is Angel, right?

Shaman Rah: Yes—her real name is Angel. And it’s so fitting. When we got married, a friend came with us and said, “What do you get a shaman and an angel for a wedding gift?” She ended up writing a beautiful poem about The Shaman and The Angel—how they work together as divine counterparts.

That’s really what our relationship has become—a living example of what’s possible when two people come together with consciousness, love, and intention. People often tell us that we give them hope that a real, spiritual partnership exists.

Of course, it’s not always easy. We have the hard conversations. We discuss the uncomfortable things people usually avoid, and we use each other as mirrors to continue growing. A relationship will always show you your deepest patterns—but if you’re both willing to look, it becomes the greatest teacher of all.

So yes—her name is Angel, and together we’re constantly learning, evolving, and helping others do the same.

And you host retreats regularly in Georgia called From Lost to Love, right? One of them focuses on grief and transition.

Shaman Rah: Yes. From Lost to Love grew out of a very personal experience. Angel’s son transitioned five years ago, and through that loss, she went through a profound grieving process. Over time, she learned how to move through grief in a healthy, transformative way—and now we help others do the same.

Grief doesn’t only come from losing a loved one. It can come from losing a job, an identity, a dream, or even a version of yourself. We help people understand grief in all its forms and navigate it with self-love, self-mastery, and compassion. The goal is to help people heal old wounds and shift out of stuck emotional patterns—because when you’re stuck, you can’t move forward.

That’s why the retreat is called ‘From Lost to Love’—it’s about helping people find self-love again and rediscover their authentic essence. We work on trust, surrender, gratitude, grace, and safety—all of which are connected to the root chakra. When that root energy center is out of alignment, it affects everything. So we guide people to restore that sense of safety within themselves.

Even as you were talking about grief, my body instinctively leaned back. I realized I was physically reacting, thinking about all the things I’ve been grieving lately. You caught me—body posture awareness.

Shaman Rah: Exactly! That’s one of the Five Channels of Awareness—body posture. Your body was literally showing you something. When you notice that, you’re already beginning to tune in.

You’ll also see a pop-up inviting you to join our community. I have a free app with over thirty hours of educational content—teachings, practices, and spiritual insights you can explore right away.

From there, I can help you choose what fits best—whether that’s a coaching program, retreat, or online course. One of my favorite offerings is The Structure of My Spirit. It’s about understanding the seven bodies of consciousness—from the higher self down to the physical body—and recognizing the dimensional level your soul originated from.

Most people come from the fourth dimension as a level three, four, five, or six soul:

  • Level 3 souls are learning unity and how to embody oneness.
  • Level 4 souls are aware they’ve been “taking” from life and are learning how to shift that pattern.
  • Level 5 souls begin creating systems to give back, though they’re still learning to serve beyond themselves.
  • Level 6 souls have mastered their own teachings but are still refining their balance between self-service and service to others.

Eventually, that growth leads to Level 7, the realm of the ascended masters—souls like Isis, Hathor, and Green Tara who incarnate to guide humanity.

So, yes, the first step is simple: go to oraclestouch.com, book a discovery call, or reach out to us on social media.

And your handles are the same everywhere, right?

Shaman Rah: Exactly. Everything is under Oracle’s Touch—on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. You can DM me on Instagram or schedule directly through the website.

Shaman Rah, thank you for sharing your story and your wisdom. There’s such a warmth and authenticity in the way you teach—it feels easy and safe to be in your presence.

Shaman Rah: Thank you so much. I appreciate that deeply. And I’ll leave you—and everyone listening—with this thought: What’s on the inside is on the outside.

Whatever you’re projecting from within will always show up in your outer world. When you feel peace inside, you create peace around you. That’s how energy works. I feel that comfort and resonance here with you, and I’m grateful to have shared this conversation.
