Your Dreams Are Trying to Tell You Something – An Interview with Philip Zaldatte
Most of us treat dreams like background noise, strange little movies that fade before we even get out of bed. In this conversation, Philip Zaldatte speaks about his years spent traveling the world learning to interpret dreams, coaching high-level entrepreneurs and business leaders through major life transitions, and helping people close one chapter of their life so a new one can begin. At the heart of it all is a simple truth he keeps returning to: that our identity has to come into focus before our purpose ever can.

I Died Before I Lived
On the day I was to be born, my mom was in the delivery room, and my dad was in the waiting room. Doctors came in to talk with my dad; they told him that there was a strong chance there would be problems during the birth. The doctors told my dad that it was possible that only one could survive, either me or my mom, and then asked him who he wanted them to keep alive. My dad looked them in the eyes and said, I want you to keep them both alive. Truth be told, the doctors wanted to abort me so my mom could live. As the birth took place, I was completely blue with no heartbeat. The doctors worked hard to get my heart beating for ten or more minutes, then gave up. They set me aside and began filling out paperwork. It was then that I came back to life.

Supernatural Transition
When my Achilles tendon ruptured, So Did My Old Life
Several years ago, I went to visit my family. Some friends I went to high school with heard I was in town and talked me into playing some indoor racquetball. About five games in, I fell to the ground. It happened in a split second. One explosive movement. One sharp pop. And then the unmistakable sensation–like someone had hit me hard in the back of my leg. I asked the guy behind me if he hit me, and he said no. I turned around instinctively, confused, Disoriented. My body knew before my mind did: something had ruptured. Not strained. Not tweaked. Ruptured.

Leadership in the Crucible of Transition
Transition is the testing ground of leadership. It is in moments of change–whether organizational, personal, or cultural–that true leaders are revealed. While it is easy to lead when the path is clear, it is in uncertainty, disruption, and transformation that character, vision, and influence are shaped.

Spiritual Transition
Transitions in life or in an organization are often overlooked or botched because they are handled like “change”. Things “change”. People “transition”.
Transitions are “wilderness” times where we discover our identity and where God prepares us for the next chapter in our story. If these times are rushed by leaders who don’t understand the value of transition, or because the leader is too quick to leave the past and get into the
Everyone misses out on the tremendous blessings that can only be had during these seasons.

Broken Dreams. My Lyme Journey
For a few years, I struggled with symptoms that I couldn’t figure out. Body aches that wouldn’t go away, relentless fatigue, insomnia, heart palpitations, and brain fog that dulled my thoughts. One doctor told me that there was no such thing as Lyme disease. But I knew my body was telling me something was wrong.

Success Is An Inside Job – An Interview with Philip Zaldatte
For Philip Zaldatte, the path from Catholic school and collegiate wrestling to interpreting dreams on radio, coaching Wall Street executives, and guiding international leaders has been anything but linear. Marked by radical transitions, a brush with chronic illness, and a deep mentorship with prophetic leader John Paul Jackson, his story is one of spiritual resilience, emotional intelligence, and unwavering faith.

Success is an Inside Job
My motivation for writing this article is that it would cause an awakening in as many hearts as possible. More recently, as I was sleeping, I began to experience a very vivid and colorful dream. In this dream, it was as if I were watching a movie about my life from my youth till today. As I was watching, I could hear this inner voice explaining to me, scene by scene, what had happened to me, and little by little, I had lost parts of who God created me to be.
