What if the parts of your story you have hidden the longest are the very parts that can guide you home?

Magda Leszczynska grew up connected to her galactic family, communicating with multidimensional beings, and carrying an extraterrestrial implant within her body. For decades, she kept these experiences private, afraid of how others might respond. Her path also took her from rural Poland to Canada at nineteen, through years of depression and suicidal ideation, and into a lifelong search for healing, truth, and meaning.

In this conversation, Magda shares how Chinese medicine and Inca shamanism helped her trust her intuitive gifts, why she stopped viewing people as problems to be fixed, and what finally allowed her to choose life and experience genuine joy. Whether her experiences feel familiar or open an entirely new world for you, this interview invites you to face what you have been avoiding, trust your inner compass, and begin the journey back to who you have always been.

Magda Leszczynska - Awakened Magazine

I’d love to hear your perspective on what you sense is unfolding on our planet. I know that you live in Canada, so there’s no need to give your opinion on our country here in the United States! But from a consciousness, spirituality, and mindfulness perspective, what do you sense is unfolding?

Magda Leszczynska: That’s a very good and powerful question—and we probably would not have asked it five years ago. That speaks to the speed of time. We’re moving into something new and very exciting.

Any transition is costly. Changes are no fun to make. We have to train our nervous systems, our responses, and all those things. But where we’re going, I think, is someplace beautiful—somewhere humanity has waited a very long time to be. We’re going there together, and that is the most beautiful thing.

The work we do individually contributes so much to where we’re going collectively. The most important thing is to understand how we, as individuals, contribute and can continue contributing to this wonderful event. Whether we call it the awakening of our species, returning to the stars, or simply moving through the very heavy backpacks of our past and ancestral experiences, it is all unfolding and being unpacked.

It is challenging, but I think that in five, ten, and certainly twenty years, we’re going to see the results of our hard work. That is incredible.

I love what you said about our individual part in the collective experience. I ask this question of many people, and it can sometimes carry the sense that this thing is happening to us. I know people will say it’s happening for us, but it can still feel as though it’s coming at us. What is our part in the process? I love how you brought that out.

Magda Leszczynska: That’s exactly it. Our role might be like the butterfly effect: a butterfly flaps its wings in one part of the world, and a tornado starts somewhere else because of that tiny movement. In the same way, we influence our reality and the awakening.

People talk about awakening as a spiritual experience—visions, feelings, extraordinary realities, and so on. But the most down-to-earth and sincere awakening for every human being is realizing, “Gosh, the intelligence of the universe gave me the time to be here. It asked me to be here. I want to be right here on Earth and use my time so everyone can benefit.”

Some may call this the call to service, but it is an individual and personal choice we make every day. In my opinion, this is the beauty of true awakening. Everything else is beautiful and has to happen, and we must remember the grand scale and the bigger picture. But there are also the nuances: “Yes, I want to be here. Yes, I am taking responsibility for what I create in my own world so everyone can partake in it, too.” To me, this is the deepest awakening.

I’m curious about your own journey and your story of awakening to consciousness, mindfulness, and spirituality. Did you grow up in a home that had some form of religion or faith, or did spirituality come to you later in life?

Magda Leszczynska: As you can hear from my accent, I am from Eastern Europe. I was born and raised in a very rural area of Poland. A very low frequency ruled those times. That was where Earth was at the time, and it was what we chose to be born into. It was nobody’s fault. If I want to look at it this way, it was my own decision to be born during a communist regime, amid religious oppression, with no freedom of choice.

Somehow, the universe guided me, put me on a plane, and sent me to Canada when I was about nineteen. But my first nineteen years in Poland were extremely influential. Everything I have worked on for the past twenty years began unfolding there. That was the foundation of my spirituality.

For the first twelve years of my life, I was raised as a Jehovah’s Witness, and then we converted to Catholicism. There was a lot of movement in many different directions—and finally, a plane brought me here.

Magda Leszczynska - Awakened Magazine

Did you move with your family, or did you come to attend school?

Magda Leszczynska: I moved by myself, but I had family here, so the landing was quite comfortable. It wasn’t too demanding, and I was able to adapt. I didn’t speak English. I spoke German, Russian, and Polish, but no English, so learning it took some time. It was an amazing period of my life.

I look back now and think, “Gosh, my son is nineteen.” I thought I was mature enough to take this leap and arrive in a foreign country without knowing the language. It’s extraordinary what we can do when we don’t think about the consequences and are simply driven by passion and the expression of what life is bringing us. It was quite amazing.

I visited Poland a couple of times around five years ago and absolutely loved the country. I was in the Warsaw area, and that was obviously a different period from when you grew up. But what a lovely country, with beautiful people. The passion for the arts is so intense there.

Magda Leszczynska: Yes, Polish people are very dedicated to whatever they put their hearts into. I used to travel to Poland every year with my daughter, and then there was a long period when I didn’t travel there. Each time I returned, it felt like a different country, with different people and a different consciousness. I loved going then, and I love going back now, when everything is so beautiful. I do want to be there.

How did your intuitive gifts begin to unfold in your life? How did you become aware of them?

Magda Leszczynska: Every privilege and every gift is also a curse. We know that from hearing others say it and from our own experience. I think I was always intuitive. I always had that gift of knowing, and I always used it. There wasn’t one particular moment in my upbringing, learning, or application of my skills when I suddenly realized, “My gifts are kicking in.”

There was, however, more and more trust coming in because more and more was being asked and demanded of me. My entire life was filled with truly extraordinary and very difficult experiences. On one hand, I spent fifty years with suicidal ideation. On the other hand, I traveled the universe. I know my galactic family. I studied at an intergalactic acupuncture school with other beings from the universe. I have an extraterrestrial tracker in my body, which I call an implant.

My life was full of mystery, as I call it now. But back then, it was simply my normal life, and I thought everyone was going through the same things. I thought everyone could communicate telepathically, see extraterrestrial beings in human form on this planet, and astral travel. Over time, I slowly learned to shut everything down so I could remain safe because, at one point, using my intuition and my gifts did not seem like the safest thing to do.

Unsafe in what way? Did you feel physically or spiritually unsafe, or was it more about people judging you?

Magda Leszczynska: It was more about being diagnosed and judged for what Magda was saying because I truly had extraordinary experiences. I could understand extraterrestrial technology better than I understood my computer at home. Where was this information coming from if I couldn’t prove that I had read a manual or that research had been done on it? There were questions about my mental health and what I represented.

Magda Leszczynska - Awakened Magazine

Who did you make the mistake of sharing this information with? Was it family or friends?

Magda Leszczynska: You probably won’t believe this, but I don’t think there was one person to whom I fully disclosed everything, especially more than two or three years ago. Now, it is becoming more mainstream. People are talking about these things and feeling very comfortable doing so. As a society, we have grown into this beautiful place where people with experiences like mine can feel safe.

Magda Leszczynska - Awakened MagazineMy book is about this. The Book of Returning talks about returning to ourselves, being simple, sharing our gifts, intuition, and knowledge, and adding that knowledge to the collective so everyone can participate. People can say, “Okay, let me see how that feels. I want to learn something. I want to know. I want to feel how that resonates with me.”

We are now in a wonderful place on Earth where we have the ability to share deep, amazing experiences. People who come onto your podcast share those experiences. I now have friends who speak very freely about these things, yet I also have friends who are still very hush-hush. We have this hush-hush community where people say, “This is the only place where I can open up and speak.” But the world is opening up and becoming an arena that welcomes all diversity and all experiences. It’s wonderful.

Before the work you do now, what was your career path like after leaving Poland and arriving in Canada? What was that journey like?

Magda Leszczynska: I came to Canada right after high school, so I was very fresh, enthusiastic about life, and happy to be here and to travel. I love traveling. There is something very special about it.

Then I slipped back into a very deep depression, which kept me imprisoned for many years. It wasn’t until my thirties that I finally woke up. I always say that I gambled with God. I tossed the dice with God and said, “You tell me what to do, and I’ll do it. But if you screw up, then we both go in.” It was a very interesting part of my life because I had nothing to lose.

In my thirties, I returned to school and began studying—and I loved it. I had always been drawn to archaeology, history, and ancient sciences. I ended up studying traditional Chinese medicine, trying to understand concepts that existed so far outside the conventional box.

To understand what Chinese medicine was truly about, I also studied Inca shamanism because the energy medicine component was removed from Chinese medicine in the 1950s. I wanted to understand the whole picture, and I knew there had to be a way. Studying Inca shamanism brought both pieces together beautifully.

That was also when I discovered that I could fully be myself—using my intuition, knowing what I was feeling from patients, and guiding them with knowledge that came not only from books but also from what I felt from them. I had amazing results treating patients, and I loved doing it.

If someone met you today, how would you describe what you do? You have such a wide variety of experiences and areas of expertise. If I asked, “Magda, what do you do, and how can you help me?” what would you say?

Magda Leszczynska: That is always a very difficult question, but the easiest answer is: I meet you where you are, and I follow your energy. Together, we discover the path that is best for you. It’s not about what I think. It’s not my journey, and it’s not my doing.

I had to retrain myself because the medical system teaches us to diagnose a patient within fifteen minutes, figure out what is wrong, prescribe a specific treatment, and treat them successfully. I was very passionate about Chinese medicine and about practicing it in exactly that way. But now, through coaching, mentorship, and writing a book, I need to give everyone space. I am finally not the one who is there to fix anyone—and I feel so good about that.

I will guide someone and sit with them until they find their own magic, wisdom, guidance, and compass. We all have a compass. Sometimes it is simply dusty and needs to be refreshed a little and brought back into working order.

Who would you say are your typical clients—the people who are drawn to you, resonate with you, and with whom you also resonate? What challenges or problems do they most often bring to the table?

Magda Leszczynska: I believe everyone is guided to the practitioner or therapist they are meant to work with. I trust that the universe will only bring me people whom I can genuinely support and guide. I’ve worked with people from all different walks of life.

There are the beginners, but I also have categories that come before them. First, there are spiritual tourists, followed by curious people, and then beginners. After that come those who have been on the path for a while. For most people, this is the longest stage—the time when they unfold, test the territory, and become familiar with spiritual language. We all have to wake up one day and ask, “What does shadow work mean? How does it work?”

I also work with very advanced people who are leaders in our society. One thing I’ve learned, especially through working with people who do what I do—those who hold retreats and guide others—is the importance of leaving what we already know at the door. We step into the relationship with a fresh mind and fresh eyes, asking, “What can I learn here? What new thing can we discover together?” It’s fascinating, refreshing, and truly wonderful work.

Magda Leszczynska - Awakened Magazine

Just so I understand, you’re saying they leave their previous experiences at the door so they can have a fresh experience with you.

Magda Leszczynska: Yes, exactly. Fresh eyes and a beginner’s mind—that’s what it is.

There’s obviously no typical session with you because you bring such a wealth of knowledge and wisdom to the table—from traditional Chinese medicine and shamanism to coaching and the galactic. Do you integrate all those elements? Is it primarily talking, or might there be shamanic journeying or meditation? Does it simply depend on the person’s situation?

Magda Leszczynska: It really depends on the person’s situation. Following the energy guides me toward what is needed. If we see a blockage and a journey is required, I gently guide the person into seeing and unfolding it for themselves. This allows them to reclaim their power and take responsibility as they open it up, understand it, and become curious about it. They stop calling it a problem and begin calling it an opportunity.

Everyone is different, and everyone has different needs. Sometimes we simply sit, and I listen. The person may say, “Wow, I was finally able to say what I wanted to say.” There is something beautiful about creating a safe environment where people can express themselves truly, truthfully, honestly, and authentically.

I first met you about a year and a half ago at the Sedona Ascension Retreat. John Klug, who has since become a friend and an executive contributor to Awakened Magazine, told me, “There’s this lady over there named Magda, and you should meet her. There’s something about her presence.” I had the opportunity to speak with you briefly, and you really do have a safe, loving presence. Your smile radiates this sense that you’re someone I could spend time with and feel safe around. You definitely embody that in person, and it’s wonderful.

Magda Leszczynska: Thank you, David. That is really sweet. I actually hear that quite often. The name Joy Academy didn’t come out of nowhere. People began telling me, “I feel so much joy from you. I feel so much happiness from you.” The name of my website and Joy Academy itself was chosen by other people. If this is my gift, may it be so—and may it serve others.

You mentioned earlier that you experienced suicidal ideation for more than fifty years. How did you transition from that to becoming Magda Joy? Help me understand that journey.

Magda Leszczynska: That’s a very powerful question, and thank you for asking it. It required deep inner work and a genuine understanding of where that mindset and ideation came from. I was given the privilege of seeing distortions of the mind come to a resolution and move into the light. These are truly remarkable human experiences.

What remained throughout those experiences was pure joy—the pure joy of existence and a profound reverence for aspects connected to a past life that finally decided to move into the light. They finally had the courage to look deeply into their own hearts and beings and say, “Yes, I am ready.”

At the same time, I was doing my human work here. I was staying grounded, being present, going to school, feeding my children, and being human. That gave those aspects of my psyche the opportunity, courage, and trust to move forward.

The transition took about twenty years. My first search for answers began when I was five years old. Looking back now, I’m frightened to realize that these were my thoughts. It has been a tremendous inner journey and required a great deal of inner work to engage with the opportunities life presented me and overcome certain things.

The fact that I can experience joy now does not mean I don’t have troubles or enjoy a little drama here and there. I’m human, and I love it. But I live with joy even through the drama. These days, the drama doesn’t even last very long. It’s like, “Come on, it used to be so heavy.” Now it appears, and poof—it’s gone.

It has been a human journey from suicide into joy. What I discovered along the way was truly beautiful: I was never really committed to suicide. I discovered that I was deeply committed to life.

With that discovery, the suffering ended because, in that moment, I chose life. That shifted everything for me. This is what Joy Academy represents, and it sits very deeply in my heart.

Magda Leszczynska - Awakened Magazine

You’ve mentioned Joy Academy several times. Tell us what it is and how someone could benefit from being involved.

Magda Leszczynska: Joy Academy is a platform I created for people who are curious and asking, “What is the next step? Where do I go? Who do I meet?” It includes a growing community, and it is all still very new. I’ve been developing it for the past two years as part of my transition from clinical work into what I envision for myself—or what I feel called to do.

It is a school of self-mastery and self-discovery. As I mentioned earlier, it is about finding my own compass, discovering my own direction, and following what is important to me. Whether people call it following their joy, their bliss, or their calling, it is about becoming fully immersed in self-discovery.

I offer courses, classes, mentorships, one-on-one programs, quick consultations, readings, and retreats. That is what Joy Academy is all about.

Are you still doing clinical work in traditional Chinese medicine?

Magda Leszczynska: My license will expire this year, and that will mark the end of my clinical work. I am in that transition now. I’m letting go of the privilege of holding a title and a medical license, both of which I valued very deeply.

Especially now that memories are returning from my time learning at the galactic school of acupuncture, I’ve discovered other possibilities for how acupuncture can be used and what it can truly do. It is much bigger than using acupuncture on the human body. We can move galaxies. But perhaps that is a topic for another podcast—it is very cool and interesting.

I realized that I no longer have the capacity or desire to treat one patient at a time. Doing so once brought me tremendous joy and fulfillment. I loved connecting with people, getting to know them, treating them, and walking alongside them. But it was one-on-one work.

Now my audience is broader, and my message is reaching larger groups. Like many others, I am transitioning from working individually to having a voice that speaks to a wider audience. That is the transition I’m going through right now.

Part of that transition is your brand-new book, The Book of Returning: A Return to Truth, A Return to Self, and A Return to Remembrance. It has just been released, and I’m excited that you’ll be offering it at the Awakened Lifestyle Expo on August 22-23, 2026, in Costa Mesa,  cA. People can meet you there and get a signed copy. I assume you’ll sign it for them—for a certain price, right?

Magda Leszczynska: Yes, I will sign it.

Tell me about the book. Who is it for, and how could it benefit them?

Magda Leszczynska: The book wanted to be born many years ago, and it has finally come into the light. I have to say that it may challenge certain concepts and trigger certain responses because I’m writing from my own experience about where humanity truly comes from and the journey we are on.

I go back to the Garden of Eden and to Enki and Enlil, exploring how those two archetypes continue to influence our consciousness and how much we still live by their rules. I explore the mind, what it truly holds for us, and where the keys are. I also explain why ascension is not about going up into higher frequencies, but about descending into the crevices of the deepest darkness. That is where the gifts are and where the light wants to enter.

I talk about human beings being prepared for intergalactic interaction—our return to the galaxy. Extraterrestrial beings have always been on our planet, and they still are. We simply lost the privilege of knowing who is who and where they come from. Now, we are going to open ourselves back up to being consciously present with them.

I also discuss how we are already being prepared for this process, including the possibility of eventually not requiring food or sleep. The chapters explore all these subjects, as well as spiritual awakening. It is a heavy book in some ways, but it is woven together with many of my personal experiences, which may be exciting, surprising, or make people say, “Wow.”

However, I removed the “wow” aspect as much as possible because the book is not about those experiences. They are simply examples of how things unfolded for me. It will be different for you and for everyone else. Ultimately, it is the journey of one soul moving from not knowing very much, through years of self-study and inner work, and finally arriving at joy.

Magda Leszczynska - Awakened Magazine

You look like such a normal mom—I’m just going to say it! I haven’t read the entire book yet, but I flipped through it and thought, “Whoa, she is not messing around. She is going deeply into some extraordinary experiences.” I mean that in the best possible way. I appreciate your willingness to open yourself up, especially after feeling that you couldn’t do so before. I don’t want to put thoughts in your mind or words in your mouth, but does this book feel like a coming out in some way—a complete declaration of, “Here I am”? Or do you feel you had already done that years ago?

Magda Leszczynska: Since I began hosting retreats, doing spiritual work, and guiding others, snippets of these stories have come out here and there. I never really focused on myself. They only emerged when it was necessary. So yes, this is fully coming out.

I remember waking up at night after having dreams in which I was given directions: “Write about this, and put that in the book.” I would wake up and say, “Really? That too? You really want me to write about this?” The answer was yes, and I didn’t question it. I trust there is a reason for including it.

Even the parts involving my shadows—experiences that were challenging to move through—had to be included. Going through them was no fun at all, but I was asked to put them in the book.

When you talk about waking up and having these conversations—and about your day-to-day spiritual life—is there a particular being, or group of beings, with whom you feel most connected? Is there a name you give to whomever or whatever you connect with most?

Magda Leszczynska: That is a very interesting question. I know I am not yet finished discovering something very important here on Earth, so I still have a journey to complete. I also know that the beings who placed the tracking device in my body are waiting for me to reconnect with them.

My extraterrestrial family was present with me until I was six years old. Then they left and said, “You have to live your human life.” I responded, “Who is human?” I don’t merely think they are waiting and available—I know they are. There will be a profound, significant, and meaningful reconnection with them, and I know it will happen very soon.

But your question is awakening something inside me that wants to say I connect with the universe, not one particular being or group of beings. I do wish to reconnect with certain entities and beings, and that will come. But the universe as one consciousness is what I connect with most deeply.

We have never had anyone share about having an implant on the podcast before, so you win the grand prize for being the first! I’m very curious about it. When did you become aware of the implant? What is it, where is it, and what does it do? Can you feel it? Tell us everything.

Magda Leszczynska: I have been aware of this implant for a very long time. I believe it was placed in my body when I was five years old. I was abducted, a surgery was performed, and the implant was placed in my lower abdomen.

During the past five years, I experienced severe pain in that area of my body. I remember attending an expo in Sedona—I don’t recall which one—and sitting in a Bashar question-and-answer session. I heard a voice inside me say, “Go and ask him a question.”

I replied, “But I don’t have a question.”

“Yes, you do. Ask about the implant and the pain.”

I thought, “Good idea,” but then immediately made myself small and said, “Me, asking a question about the implant? This is so personal. How could I do that?” Then the courageous part of me said, “Magda, if you don’t do this, you may regret it. You have an opportunity.”

I argued again: “But I don’t have a ticket. I’m not in the queue to ask a question.” Then I realized I was simply making excuses, so I went over and asked someone. They said, “Yes, you’re next.”

I asked my question because I was mostly curious about the pain. It became clear that the pain wasn’t caused by the implant but by something else. I also learned that the implant wasn’t simply there to track me. Yes, it was tracking me, but it was also helping me. That was very important because I had only been looking at it from one perspective: that I was being tracked, had lost my sovereignty, and no longer had the freedom to be who I wanted to be. That wasn’t true.

Bashar confirmed that I had the implant and that the connection went both ways. I was being tracked for very specific reasons related to my life experiences. Other galaxies were learning through me—observing how I solve problems, how my body and nervous system react, how I manage my emotions, what I forget, what I choose not to forget, and how I move through difficult experiences. To be absolutely honest, my life was full of difficulties. All of this was recorded so the knowledge could be shared with other civilizations, which was wonderful.

The implant also kept me safe. I was attacked by extraterrestrial beings and went through many different experiences. Some of the beings I had met as a child later appeared as students in courses I was teaching in Canada. I knew they were there and that they didn’t have good intentions. I also knew I couldn’t say anything because they would simply turn to the rest of the class and ask, “What are you talking about, Magda?”

There were many reasons for the implant. It was there for my protection and to share information. This leads to another important question: Who are we as humanity to possess this power and knowledge? Are we truly so important that they want to understand how we deal with things and how we transition from darkness into light?

Magda Leszczynska - Awakened Magazine

This may be a rudimentary question, but do you have a sense that the implant is not a three-dimensional physical object, but some form of multidimensional technology? Is that how you would describe it?

Magda Leszczynska: It is absolutely multidimensional technology, and it is now becoming part of my genetic material. I went through another abduction not long ago, during which that was changed. Now, it is integrated into my entire system. It is no longer located in one place. I am like a large antenna, and any ships that need to connect with me can do so directly and receive that information.

When I was a child, the experience was very interesting. I would be taken outside my home and find myself alone beneath a beautiful, starry sky. I felt no fear—fear was always removed during those experiences.

Something would begin pulsating on the left side of my belly. I would observe it as it grew and eventually pierced through my skin and body. There was no blood and no pain. This was extraterrestrial manipulation—the power of the mind. This is where humanity is going: we will manipulate matter with our minds. This is the future of humanity.

The object would continue pulsating and growing, then aim toward a particular star or ship. Eventually, it would shoot out a beam of orange light. The transmission would last for some time, and then the object would return and disappear into my belly. I would find myself back in bed when I woke up the next morning, but I retained the memories. I knew these things were happening.

No one in my family knows about this.

I was just going to ask whether you told your parents.

Magda Leszczynska: No, I have not.

Are your parents still with us?

Magda Leszczynska: My mom is, yes.

But you’ve never shared this information with her.

Magda Leszczynska: Never.

If you did, what do you think she would say?

Magda Leszczynska: I think the decision came through what I called judgment throughout my life, but I would now change that word to discernment. Even though I was very young, I had a strong sense of what was and wasn’t right to say.

I never told my parents that my extraterrestrial family was visiting me. They were four-foot-tall humanoid beings, and we communicated through the pure vibration of love. It was absolutely amazing. That memory of love probably kept me alive and inspired my search for life—for living and experiencing that vibration again.

I never told anyone about my experiences. Never.

If I tried to tell my mother about some of my experiences—even something involving plant medicine without actually calling it plant medicine—she would say, “I just can’t hear that. I’m sorry, but I can’t listen to it.” This completely different way of thinking about life causes her so much mental distress that I think it almost creates physical pain.

Some people feel a strong need to share their experiences and make their families understand their perspectives. They want to feel known in some way. But I don’t want to cause my parents unnecessary harm. I grew up as a conservative Christian and was a pastor for ten years so that I could talk with them about church, Jesus, and Christianity. They know I’m no longer on that exact path, although I still have a deep reverence for Jesus and channel what I would call the light of Christ. I obviously don’t share that information with them. I’m not sure there is always a need to share everything, especially when it may not be helpful to the other person.

Magda Leszczynska: Yes. What you’re talking about, David, is discernment, knowing, and respect. We are the last of one generation. We have stopped a wave of something significant that was consuming humanity and our ancestors for a very long time.

We are stopping it through our experiences—through plant medicine, opening our consciousness to altered states, beginning to know and see, vibrating at a different frequency, and choosing to live differently. We are the last, and we are also the first.

When we do this work with a truly open heart, dignity, and reverence for the generations that came before us, we recognize that they had to hold this darkness because that was the level of consciousness at the time. Then suddenly, poof—whether it is magic, grace, plant medicine, or something else—we make an enormous leap into the future. We move through many timelines in a very short period.

Our parents deserve to have their own beliefs and patterns. If my mom wishes to hear my story, I will tell her, and we do have some of those conversations. But I know when we reach a certain block. She will say, “Okay, okay, we don’t want to talk about my God now.” I recognize that as her limit, and I respect it.

I was fascinated by your epilogue, “Beneath Every Teaching: Ancient Teachings Through the Lens of Returning.” That may be the first time I’ve ever told an author that I loved their epilogue! You address and reframe several concepts, many of which are rooted in Judeo-Christian beliefs, including the Fall, original sin, repentance, salvation, heaven, hell, purgatory, judgment, the devil, angels, and demons—all the good ones.

You write: “What if original sin is not inherited guilt? What if it is inherited unconsciousness? Each generation receives not only the gifts of those who came before, but also their fears, wounds, beliefs, and unfinished stories. We inherit patterns before we inherit language. The work of healing is not to carry those patterns forward, but to become conscious enough that they no longer define us. Perhaps this is what redemption has always been.” You then discuss repentance and metanoia. Why did you include all these subjects and reframe them in the epilogue? What was your motivation?

Magda Leszczynska: I have to say that I wrote this with absolute reverence for the Judeo-Christian religion and for people who hold those beliefs. It is not intended to start a revolution. It came from following an instinct that began with a vision.

I saw Enki holding tablets that resembled the Ten Commandments. The vision lasted only a few seconds, but it was very clear. I knew exactly whom I had seen and what those tablets carried; I simply couldn’t read them.

When I finished writing the book, the memory of that vision suddenly returned. For several days, I wondered, “What is going on? What do I need to do with this vision? Is the book finished?” Then the Ten Commandments came to me, along with sin, the Fall, and all those other concepts.

I wanted to explore how we might look at them from different angles and perspectives. Consciousness wants to discover itself. It does not want to remain the same for millennia and never move. It seeks itself, its own freedom, and its own resolution, movement, and transition. That was the idea, and it became the closing of the book.

You’ll also be a vendor at the Awakened Lifestyle Expo. I want to show everyone your card from the Awakened Wisdom Oracle Deck, which features forty-four conscious leaders sharing their wisdom. Look who is featured right here—Magda Leszczynska!

On the back, it says: “You are the Book of Returning: from forgetting to remembering.” The reflection question is: “What within me is ready to return—my voice, my truth, my wisdom, or something more?” The affirmation is: “I welcome myself back into my heart.” What does it mean to be the Book of Returning, from forgetting to remembering?

Magda Leszczynska: Remembering means several things. It means remembering the consciousness we left and becoming a member again of that from which we departed. To return, we must first leave. To remember, we must first let go of something.

We remember not only with the mind: “I remember who I was. I remember the feeling of love from that perspective. I remember who I was.” We can also re-member by entering that vibration and carrying those frequencies more and more until the entire planet shines with them.

Each of us has a very specific and unique frequency to share. Together, that is what love is about.

The first thousand guests at the Awakened Lifestyle Expo will receive the deck in their swag bags, and that is the only place it will be available.

At the Expo, people will be able to visit your table. Would you describe what you’ll offer in that setting as a reading, or would you call it something else?

Magda Leszczynska: I want to connect with people. That connection might happen through talking about the book, discussing their experiences, or answering questions about my particular experiences. If they would like a reading, I am completely open to that.

It is about connecting, being present and available, meeting new people, and discovering what alignment we can find.

If someone feels drawn to you and your work, how can they work with you from anywhere in the world? What is the best way to connect with you?

Magda Leszczynska: The best place is my website, MagdaJoy.com. There are many ways for someone to leave me a welcoming note, welcome themselves into Joy Academy, and connect with me.

I love connecting with people through a free, fifteen-minute discovery call. They can ask me any questions. Most often, people say, “I’m going through this or that. Have you worked with this? I’m looking for someone who does this—do you offer that?” The call is quick, but it gives us a chance to understand what they need.

Very often, people ask about one specific issue during the discovery call and then realize, “My goodness, you can actually help me with something else. Let’s go for it.” That is why a discovery call is full of wonder. It is like opening a chest, seeing what is inside, and discovering what match can be made. I welcome discovery calls.

I’ve been asking everyone a fun question at the end of our conversations: What purchase have you made for under $100 recently that has made a big difference in your life? Does anything come to mind?

Magda Leszczynska: Yes, immediately. I love playing pickleball so that it would be a pickleball. I play about ten hours a week during the summer. Winter is a little different, but playing pickleball outdoors is fun. It represents freedom, community, and being outside—everything someone living in Canada wants to experience during the summer.

That is wonderful to know. Magda, it has been great getting to know you better today, and I look forward to having you at the Expo. People can purchase tickets at AwakenedLifestyleExpo.com, and they can book a session with you at MagdaJoy.com. Thank you for everything you are doing in the world, and congratulations on the new book.

Magda Leszczynska: Thank you so much, and thank you for having me on the podcast.
