Richard James

Richard James is an evolutionary astrologer, tarot practitioner, author, and spiritual guide devoted to illuminating the soul’s path and the evolution of consciousness. His work is grounded in the understanding that astrology and symbolic systems serve as maps of the soul, guiding individuals toward self-realization through deeper awareness of their karmic story, life lessons, and innate purpose.

Richard’s spiritual inquiry was initiated through profound personal experience, including his mother’s diagnosis with stage-four cancer, anticipatory grief, heartbreak, and a disidentification from the material world. These experiences led him into an intensive study of ancient and esoteric wisdom traditions, including the Vedas, metaphysics of the soul, past-life theory, and Druidic philosophy. Through this synthesis, he developed a grounded yet transcendent approach that supports individuals in shedding limiting identities and reconnecting with their essential nature.

A period of personal upheaval catalyzed his deep immersion into evolutionary astrology, beginning with the work of Jeffrey Wolf Green and expanding through continued study with leading voices in the field. Since then, Richard has become widely known for his ability to translate evolutionary astrology into clear, accessible language for modern audiences, bridging ancient wisdom with psychological insight and lived experience.

Richard’s relationship with tarot and astrology carries a strong intuitive quality, often described as a remembering rather than a learning. In 2020, he began offering tarot readings publicly at large-scale events throughout Florida, where he quickly garnered top accolades for psychic and tarot readings in Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties.

Richard has shared evolutionary astrology across major media platforms and press outlets, where he has been recognized on-air as the new face and voice of astrology. He is a monthly astrology columnist for LA Magazine and has appeared as an on-air astrologer on FOX Good Day LA, NBC’s Access Daily, and TMZ, with features across US Weekly, Daily Mail, MSN, and Yahoo. Through these platforms, Richard brings soul-centered astrology into public conversation, offering insight into collective cycles, cultural moments, and the deeper evolutionary themes shaping our lives.

In 2026, Richard premiered StarCast Weekly on Gaia, bringing evolutionary astrology to a global audience and offering grounded, consciousness-centered insight into personal and collective cosmic cycles. Connect with Richard at www.richardjamesastrology.com.
