Transformational Coach, Licensed Professional Counselor

Drawing from over 18 years of professional counseling and coaching experience, Sara Hunter has established herself as a pioneering force in women’s transformational work. As the founder of The Rooted Woman Collective, she combines her extensive therapeutic background with deep spiritual wisdom to guide women through profound personal evolution.

Sara’s journey began with formal training and certification in life coaching in 2006, when she started her first coaching business. Years later, she pursued her Masters in Counseling which led to her licensure as a psychotherapist. Her coaching and therapeutic work revealed patterns in her clients (and in her own life) that would later inform her innovative approach to transformation. Beyond traditional therapy, she pursued advanced certifications in transformational coaching, somatic practices, attachment and parts work. This creates a unique methodology that addresses the psychological, physical, energetic and spiritual dimensions of healing.

Following her own transformative journey of losing her hair during a health crisis – which ignited a profound self-discovery – Sara later developed the groundbreaking “Root Down to RISE” framework . This methodology emerged from her recognition that sustainable transformation requires not only a commitment, but deep inner work and then support around practical and sustainable integration. The framework guides women to strengthen six essential roots: spirituality, intuition, self-worth, values, creativity, and community that support living a far more aligned, vibrant, and authentic life.

As a sought-after speaker and thought leader, Sara has shared her insights at international summits. Her presentations on authentic leadership and personal transformation have inspired audiences to embrace their true potential. She has been featured in global events focused on conscious leadership and women’s empowerment.

Her work particularly resonates with coaches, healers, and visionary women who are ready to break free from patterns of self abandonment. Sara highlights the 10 ways in which do this through people-pleasing, perfecting, performing, pretending, proving, placating, problem solving (or rescuing), protecting, projecting and/or procrastinating.

Sara’s signature approach includes:

  • The “Root Down to RISE” framework for sustainable transformation
  • Quality check of the 6 key Roots in our lives
  • Pattern Disruption technique for breaking unconscious cycles
  • Soul’s Signature work for authentic embodiment
  • Integration of therapeutic wisdom with spiritual practices
  • Somatic and energetic practices for deep transformation

Having worked with hundreds of women across the globe, Sara’s impact extends beyond individual transformation. Her vision is to create a ripple effect of authentic, empowered women who are fully expressed in their power and purpose. Through her work, she demonstrates that personal transformation is not just about individual growth, but about contributing to collective revolution of raising consciousness, and not just for us who are here now, but for generations to come. Sara continues to expand her influence through writing, speaking, and developing new programs that support women in their journey of authentic embodiment. Her commitment to continuous learning and growth ensures that her work remains at the forefront of transformational leadership.

Looking ahead, Sara is in the process of developing innovative programs to train other coaches in The Rooted Woman methodology, extending the reach and impact of this transformative work. Connect with Sara at www.therootedwomancollective.com.

What If Your Struggles Hold the Key to Your Power?

It was destroying my marriage. There I would go again with my partner—totally shut down, pulled away, numb—pretending I didn’t have thoughts, wants, or, God forbid, needs. It took days, sometimes, to emerge from my shell and recover from the internal emotional implosion that almost always followed a disagreement. Or, if I’m brutally honest, sometimes it didn’t even take a disagreement as a certain tone, gesture or look would collapse me. Within seconds, I would freeze over, walk away, and go mute. It didn’t feel like a conscious decision that I made, it was like I was literally unable to speak.
