Take us back to when you first started to realize you had unique gifts. What was that like for you? When did it begin?

Althea Lucrezia Avanzo: I was always one of those kids who couldn’t sleep because of shadows in my room. From a very young age, I had vivid experiences—seeing shadows, having prophetic dreams and premonitions, and interacting with different beings in the astral realm, some of which weren’t so pleasant. I come from a long maternal line of psychic women. My mother and grandmother are both psychic, though they never practiced professionally. It’s something that runs in my blood.

I began actively working with these energies around the age of twelve or thirteen, when I got my first tarot deck. My family was supportive—they never opposed it or made me feel strange for being drawn to these realms. I feel lucky to have grown up in that kind of environment.

And what about your friends at the time? I believe you grew up in Italy, correct?

Althea Lucrezia Avanzo: Yes, that’s right. Some of my friends were genuinely interested in tarot, pendulums, and connecting to other dimensions. Others weren’t—but that’s how these things work. If someone isn’t ready or open, the information tends to bypass them. It wasn’t the center of my life at that point—I was still just a teenager figuring things out—but a few of those friends who were supportive are still close to me today.

At what point did you feel called to use these gifts as your life’s work? Was there a moment of clarity, or did it evolve gradually?

Althea Lucrezia Avanzo: I always knew I wanted to go into healing—I just wasn’t sure how. As a child, I thought I might become a doctor. But my path shifted many times before things aligned. Around 21 or 22, I was introduced to Reiki. That was a major turning point. I went through classical Reiki training, which gave me a strong energetic foundation and helped me understand timelines, the quantum realm, and how energy truly works.

I opened a Reiki studio a couple of years before the pandemic. At the time, I was also working in the events world, organizing large vintage markets and supplying shops with vintage clothing. When COVID hit, all of that stopped—and I fully shifted into energy healing. But I’d also been through some deeply traumatic and transformative personal experiences that prepared me for this transition.

You mentioned trauma—what were some of those pivotal experiences that led to your awakening?

Althea Lucrezia Avanzo: In my early twenties, I was suppressing my gifts. I didn’t know how to manage what I was feeling, and I was absorbing everything around me. That overwhelm led me down a path of substance use—alcohol and other escapes that didn’t serve me.

Eventually, I ended up in the hospital with kidney issues. It was all lifestyle-related and completely preventable, which made it even more of a wake-up call. I was only 26 or 27 and realized I was too young to be dealing with that level of physical collapse. That’s when I went completely sober—not even coffee.

After that, something huge opened up. My channel just blew wide open. For several months, I was in this deep recalibration phase. I could barely hold down my part-time job because I was constantly receiving information—about geometry, the quantum field, past research I’d done, conspiracy theories, and astral experiences. Everything started connecting. I think my DNA was literally activating. It took close to a year to fully settle into it.

Then, my light language began to flow through. But just after that, I went through another intense experience—a relationship with a karmic partner that was physically and emotionally abusive. Leaving that relationship taught me about boundaries and self-respect. Now, part of my work is helping other women heal from similar situations.

Thank you for sharing that. It’s so powerful. Many people imagine awakening as a single moment, but clearly it’s more like layers unfolding over time. How did you eventually land in South Africa?

Althea Lucrezia Avanzo: My parents actually moved to South Africa from Italy about twenty years ago. I came here later to study for a few years and ended up staying after entering a relationship. That relationship eventually ended, but I chose to remain.

Once I got deeper into this work, I realized I’d been relocated here for a reason—to hold the grid in a very specific way. I’ve worked in the northern parts of the country, activating sacred sites where there have been major energetic events and sightings. I lived up north for about four or five years before relocating south. I’ve traveled the country and done a lot of grid work here.

And you’re also a mother, correct?

Althea Lucrezia Avanzo: Yes, I have a daughter—she’s almost five.

How do you navigate being a mother while also holding space for so many others through your work?

Althea Lucrezia Avanzo: I’m a single mom, so having support from my parents means the world to me. They help a lot, especially when I’m traveling. When I go to Europe, she comes with me. But for places like Costa Rica, where I recently led a retreat, she stays with my parents.

I’ve found that structure and boundaries are everything. I plan carefully and make sure there’s dedicated time for my daughter, for my partner—who isn’t her father—and for myself. I also ensure my work doesn’t fall behind. It’s a balance, and I think that’s the key—clear boundaries and intentional living.

You mentioned that your light language began to emerge during your awakening. Why do you feel it came into your life, and how would you explain its purpose to someone unfamiliar with it?

Althea Lucrezia Avanzo: Light language is essentially a new technology that’s emerging to assist with the ascension and awakening of the planet. It’s a tool—an expression of the soul directly connected to source consciousness—and many starseeds are beginning to channel it.

When I channel light language, I’m transmitting sacred geometry, vibrational frequencies, and codes that work directly on a person’s DNA structure. It bypasses the logical mind and functions beyond linear time. For example, I could channel something today that’s received by someone yesterday—or tomorrow, across the globe. It’s that fluid and multidimensional.

Light language can be expressed in many forms: spoken, sung, written, or through movement. I began channeling in 2017, and at the time, there were maybe a handful of people doing it publicly. Now, there are tens of thousands. It’s rapidly expanding.

I’ve always felt a galactic connection. When I was nine, I saw someone on TV mention they were from the Pleiades, and I immediately thought, “Oh, that’s where I’m from.” I just knew. Now I understand that light language is infused with frequencies from our galactic ancestors. In some traditions, it’s been known as speaking in tongues, but this is a broader, more expansive iteration of that practice.

It’s such a unique tool. How do you use light language in your daily life or in your work? Is it part of your one-on-one sessions or grid work?

Althea Lucrezia Avanzo: It’s fully embodied for me now. It’s not something I have to consciously “turn on.” It’s always there, always flowing through me. Interestingly, one of my early activations also came through psilocybin in 2017, so I understand what you mean about plant medicine opening the channel.

I use light language in my sessions with clients, during grid work around the world, when I speak at conferences, and during livestreams. Each experience is unique. I channel through two higher-dimensional versions of myself: a ninth-dimensional Pleiadian being and a twelfth-dimensional mantis being. These are aspects of my own consciousness, and each has its own energetic signature.

Depending on what I’m doing—whether it’s healing myself, facilitating a one-on-one session, or leading a group workshop—the expression of light language shifts. The frequency, tone, and guidance are tailored to the setting and the people present.

The first time I saw you channeling, I was struck by your hand movements. It felt sacred and deeply emotional. I’d been moving my hands in ceremonies as well and didn’t know why—until I saw you. What’s happening with the hands during light language transmission?

Althea Lucrezia Avanzo: My hands actually activated before my voice. I began by writing and drawing codes, and then one day, my hands just started moving on their own. It was a very natural evolution.

The way I see it, the hands anchor the geometry of the light codes into the grid. While the phonetic language carries the vibrational information, the hand movements help lock it in place. If I’m doing a system clearing, for example, I’ll use my hands to “pull” or “extract” things from someone’s field.

In more advanced work, there are times when light codes emit from the tips of my fingers. These codes illuminate specific areas in a person’s DNA, cellular memory, or energy field. It’s extremely intuitive. When I’m channeling for a group, the movements tend to express the geometry or provide energetic instructions to help people integrate what’s being received.

Do the fingernails help with the activation? Or is that just your style?

Althea Lucrezia Avanzo: I love to curate my hands with intention. Right now, I have little aliens, moons, and spaceships on my nails. Even my tattoos are channeled—they become portals of light when I’m working. It’s all part of the frequency I carry.

You don’t need long nails to do this work, but I find that anything done with intention enhances the energy.

You mentioned channeling a ninth-dimensional Pleiadian self and a twelfth-dimensional mantis being. For someone unfamiliar, can you explain what that means?

Althea Lucrezia Avanzo: We all experience multiple lifetimes across dimensions. Sometimes, fragments of our soul remain connected to other timelines—past, parallel, or even future—and as we evolve, we begin to reintegrate those parts.

It doesn’t mean we’re incomplete—it’s just that we’ve forgotten. When we begin to remember and reintegrate those aspects, we unlock gifts, activate dormant DNA, and align more deeply with our soul mission.

The Pleiadian and mantis versions of myself exist in higher-dimensional densities. Their soul origins are ninth and twelfth dimensional, respectively, but they move through different frequencies, like 5D, 6D, and beyond. I’ve integrated these aspects of myself into my current awareness, and they support my work and connection to source consciousness.

How did you come to recognize those specific aspects of yourself?

Althea Lucrezia Avanzo: I’ve always felt the presence of Pleiadians around me, even as a child. When I began channeling light language, the Pleiadian version of myself gradually became more integrated and fully anchored.

The mantis being came through more visually and creatively. I started drawing and painting it without realizing exactly what it was. Eventually, I connected the dots—especially when I realized how different my written and drawn codes felt compared to the spoken ones.

The mantis energy is also deeply linked to my ancient Atlantean lifetime. I channeled a lot of advanced technology back then, and that connection flows through my mantis aspect. That’s the frequency I work with when I channel certain types of codes—especially when they’re technical or geometric in nature.

For those unfamiliar with the term, what is grid work? What exactly are you doing when you engage in this type of energy work?

Althea Lucrezia Avanzo: Grid work is something I was divinely guided into—it wasn’t a skill I learned in a traditional sense. I would simply be directed to go to specific locations, and the purpose would reveal itself once I arrived.

One example was in 2022, when I was told to attend an event in Mozambique. When I got there, I discovered I was meant to clear a beach that held the energetic imprint of 500 mermaids who had been massacred there. Through ritual, energy work, candle ceremonies, and invocation, I helped collapse that traumatic timeline and neutralize its energetic density. This not only supported the Earth in releasing pain and suffering, but also helped others—like a friend who was with me—retrieve soul fragments and memories of their own past-life traumas related to the site.

Grid work can also be much simpler. Just by stepping into a sacred space—like a church or temple—and feeling light move through your body, you might activate something within the Earth’s energetic grid. The Earth responds to our presence when we carry specific encoded frequencies within our DNA. Many starseeds will begin to feel the call to certain locations between now and 2026 because those sites are linked to their soul’s mission.

If you feel called to travel somewhere and you can’t explain why, trust that. You’re not imagining it.

What is the ultimate purpose of grid work? What are we collectively working toward when we engage in this kind of energetic support for the Earth?

Althea Lucrezia Avanzo: The goal is to raise the baseline vibrational frequency of the planet.

When a space holds trauma or density, people who enter that space can feel low, heavy, or even unsettled without knowing why. But when the space is cleared, it becomes more neutral—or even joyful—and this helps Gaia on her evolutionary path. Every bit of this work counts.

How do you personally distinguish between a real energetic experience—like a past-life memory or spiritual download—and your imagination? And how do we handle other people’s stories when they sound too far-fetched to believe?

Althea Lucrezia Avanzo: This is my reality. I exist between these dimensions daily, and I’m surrounded by people who live and speak this language. No one in my world finds it weird anymore.

But for those just beginning to awaken, technology and community can be incredibly supportive. Finding others online who understand and share your experiences is powerful. It helps you ground into your truth and builds trust in your own intuition.

The key is presence. When your mind is quiet and you’re not fixated on the past or future, your channel opens more easily and the messages become clearer. Everyone has access to guidance, intuition, and psychic vision. It’s just a matter of tuning in and practicing.

Yes—just like developing a muscle through movement or training.

Althea Lucrezia Avanzo: Exactly. It’s about trusting yourself.

You work with something called the rainbow ray spectrum. What is that, and how does your energetic imprint influence your mission on Earth?

Althea Lucrezia Avanzo: The rainbow ray spectrum is a frequency I work with, and it’s directly connected to the ninth-dimensional Pleiadian aspect of myself.

If you imagine rays of rainbow light emanating from the heart, that’s the energetic field many people see around me when their vision is activated. During medicine ceremonies or spiritual activations, it becomes even more visible. This rainbow light is my signature frequency, and I’ve seen it around me since I was a child. I used to think it was normal.

In more advanced experiences, I’ve been taken to higher realms where I’ve seen colors that don’t even exist on Earth. They’re indescribable. This energy is part of my imprinting, and although it’s difficult to fully explain with language—especially English, which doesn’t always have the words for these geometries or sensations—it’s something I continue to understand more deeply through experience.

You do one-on-one sessions, and I know there’s a waitlist. When someone books with you, what are the most common challenges they come with, and what does a session typically look like?

Althea Lucrezia Avanzo: I offer a wide range of sessions, and I also train people to unlock their own gifts—like activating their vision, intuition, and clear knowing.

When someone books a one-off session, I tune into their field and see what’s most needed. Common themes include grounding, boundary setting, nervous system imbalances, or energy flow disruptions. Many clients come to me thinking their third eye is blocked, but in truth, most people’s third eyes are open—it’s the lower chakras that are blocked, and that prevents energy from rising.

If someone isn’t expressing emotions, is carrying heartache, or isn’t using their voice, the energy can’t flow upward. So we work on those foundational areas. I coach them, offer tools, and tailor the experience based on who’s in front of me.

I also offer Akashic Clearing sessions, where I look into past, parallel, or future timelines and identify patterns—like codependency or unresolved attachments—that may be affecting them in this life. I support the clearing process, but ultimately, the real integration work is up to the individual.

I know you offer both six-week and six-month programs. Can you share more about those?

Althea Lucrezia Avanzo: Absolutely. It’s actually the same program—just offered in different formats depending on people’s time and financial availability. We journey through the frequencies of 3D, 4D, into 5D and beyond. I teach clients how to access the Akashic field, clear their own energetic systems, and expand their awareness.

If their light language is already activated, we work on developing it further. If they’re looking to awaken that gift, I help initiate the process. I also assign tools, practices, and homework in between sessions to support integration.

I work very organically with each client. Some come to me wanting to heal from trauma, like a past relationship, while others are looking to start or grow their healing business. I help them build that from a place of alignment, integrity, and energetic clarity. I also offer spiritual business mentoring—teaching how to call in clients, maintain energetic boundaries, and operate from a soul-led foundation.

Tell me about your upcoming Bali retreat.

Althea Lucrezia Avanzo: The retreat is happening from September 13th to 19th in Ubud, Bali. It’s going to be such a beautiful experience. I hosted a retreat in Costa Rica last year, and three of the attendees from that retreat have already rebooked for Bali—which was deeply affirming.

Those who attend will have access to me around the clock. We’ll do workshops that include galactic activations, timeline clearing, and Akashic work. I also offer sacred plant medicine at the retreat—specifically hape, a powdered tobacco used in shamanic traditions. It’s completely optional, but I find it helps with integration and grounding.

We’ll be visiting sacred sites across Bali, engaging in water ceremonies, sound baths, and temple visits. It’s a dynamic and immersive retreat. I’m only taking a limited number of people—about 15 total—and we’ve already booked 12, so just a few spots remain.

Before we began this interview, I asked if you’d be willing to channel some light language with us. Should we pose a question to guide the transmission, or is it more about holding space for the activation?

Althea Lucrezia Avanzo: Typically, what comes through is a system clearing. But the transmission will meet the listener where they are. If someone needs their light language activated, it will support that. If their throat chakra needs clearing, or their third eye and crown need opening, the frequency will naturally go there. I like to keep the channel open and let it unfold based on what’s needed.

Will there be English or any kind of translation during the light language transmission?

Althea Lucrezia Avanzo: I’ll often speak in English while channeling. My transmission flows between light language and English naturally, so the two interweave.

Beautiful. Is there anything we should do to prepare?

Althea Lucrezia Avanzo: Yes. Begin by closing your eyes and grounding into your body. Find a comfortable breathing rhythm—inhale light, exhale anything that no longer serves you.

As you relax your body and energy field, stay open. We call upon the Archangelic Collective: Michael to the South, Uriel to the North, Raphael to the East, Gabriel to the West. We call in Metatron with his blue cloak of protection from above, and Sandalphon to seal the grid from below. We invite in our higher selves, spirit guides, and our galactic families—the Pleiadians, Lyrians, Sassani, Lemurians, Atlanteans, and any other light beings here in service of the highest good.

Open, open, open. Release, release, release. Let go, let go, let go.

Althea Lucrezia Avanzo: That’s how you know the transmission touched something deep.

Can you walk us through what was happening during that experience—what you were doing energetically?

Althea Lucrezia Avanzo: Yes. As I channel, I enter the energy field and allow the codes to do what’s needed. They rebalance, attune, activate, and align. It’s like everything gets gently reorganized.

During a transmission, I’ll often clear the emotional body—especially the sacral and solar plexus—and work on peripheral and higher chakras. Then I call in light rays to open the heart and expand the field. I ground, seal, and bring everything back to balance at the end.

Some people feel it in specific chakras. Others may feel drowsy or very activated. It can take up to three weeks to fully integrate. Some people feel emotional for a day or two, or notice more activity in their dream space. Others might feel sensations like whistling in the ears or goosebumps. It’s different for everyone.

I felt such a deep sense of activation—it was powerful. I even found myself hoping I wouldn’t burst into something wild in the moment! It was like something was happening inside of me, and while I didn’t fully understand it, it felt expansive and good. I also felt a bit lightheaded, especially in my upper chakras. It made me want to start speaking light language myself. Do you ever speak light language with friends or colleagues in groups?

Althea Lucrezia Avanzo: Yes, especially when I’m doing grid work, like I’m about to in the desert with other activated colleagues. We’ll all be channeling together. I even have a couple of videos online of myself and a colleague channeling simultaneously.

Sometimes I do that kind of work live or in collaboration with others. It makes total sense that you’d feel called to activate your own channel while witnessing it—if it’s already within you, the frequency will awaken it further.

I kept my eyes closed during your transmission so I could stay fully present. I’m looking forward to watching the video back to see your hand movements, which I’ve found very powerful in the past. For someone who’s feeling called to this path—exploring multidimensionality or light language—but doesn’t know where to start, how can they begin working with you?

Althea Lucrezia Avanzo: I share a lot of free content online, especially on YouTube, where I go live weekly to answer questions. My Instagram also has a lot of supportive content. For a deeper connection, I host collective healing events—some as accessible as $12—and I also offer one-on-one sessions.

Many people start activating but don’t understand what’s happening. When they reach out, I usually guide them toward the best starting point. Every person is different, so I tune in and suggest accordingly. But one thing I always tell people is: trust yourself. Trust your channel. Trust that the energy will go exactly where it’s needed. And don’t worry about what other people think.

That’s a big one. But what if our family or friends think we’re losing it? How do we navigate that?

Althea Lucrezia Avanzo: Honestly, does it really matter? If you’re speaking from your truth, from your heart, then those meant to align with you will. Those who can’t or don’t want to align are simply not meant to. That’s a powerful teaching in non-attachment.
