What if your earliest memories weren’t of childhood—but of the moment before birth, when angels thanked you for stepping into human form?

For Phyllis Anne Douglass, a self-described Seraphic being and conduit for alchemical light language, spirituality wasn’t something she stumbled upon later in life. It has been the fabric of her existence from her first breath. From conversations with angels as a little girl to learning she was a “seer” from her grandmother’s spirit, Phyllis’ path has been one of remembering who she truly is—while helping others remember, too.

In this conversation, Phyllis shares how her lifelong connection to the angelic realms shaped her unique mission, why she believes ascension happens within the physical body, and how her work—through sessions, alchemical tools, and transmissions—activates the light and sovereignty already within you. Phyllis Douglass - Awakened Magazine

Can you share your story of awakening to consciousness, mindfulness, and spirituality? Did you grow up in a home that had faith or spirituality as part of it, or did that come to you later in life?

Phyllis Douglass: Oh goodness—I’ll have to condense this story. I was essentially born awake. When I was a little girl, I actually remember being born. I recall being in this brilliant white room, speaking with beings in a different language—what I now know to be light language. They were thanking me for my willingness to come into physical life to fulfill my mission, which I’m living now. Then there was a bright light, a kind of shock, and the sensation of coming down the birth canal—and that was it.

As a child, I always saw spirits. My parents couldn’t figure out why I was afraid of the dark. When I was four years old, I realized that my “invisible playmates” were actually angels. I grew up attending a Methodist church, and my mother had been a Baptist before she converted, so our household blended both traditions.

I still remember the moment in Sunday school when I got my first little Bible. It had colorful plates with illustrations, and as I flipped through, I saw an image of angels. I yelled out, “Oh, they’re angels!” My mother looked at me, confused, and I tried to explain that these were my friends—the beings I’d been speaking with.

What did she say?

Phyllis Douglass: She placated me a bit, but after that, I actually got kicked out of Sunday school. My beliefs and discussions about angels and God differed significantly from what they were teaching. Even between the ages of four and six, my understanding of God didn’t match the church’s teachings. They said I asked too many questions—questions they couldn’t answer because they were bound by a set script. After that, I was sent to “big people church,” which was fine with me.

But that’s where you can’t ask questions.

Phyllis Douglass: That’s true, but it was okay. Angels have always surrounded me—they’re here now as we speak. They’ve guided me all along, but it wasn’t until about two years ago that I began to fully acknowledge what happened before I was born. I understood that I am Seraph in physical form.

When I fully surrendered and embraced that, it stopped being about “I” and became “we.” We as one are doing this. I’ve really come to understand myself in that way. But as I was growing up, I realized that when I told people about my experiences, they didn’t always have kind things to say. I quickly learned that not everyone was having the same experiences, so I stopped sharing.

Then, when I was 15 years old, my grandmother passed. One night, around 10:30 p.m., she came to me and said there was something she needed to tell me as she was making her transition. She revealed, “I am a seer, and I didn’t realize that during my lifetime…”

Phyllis Douglass - Awakened Magazine

Was she saying this to you physically, or was this more of a spiritual experience?

Phyllis Douglass: She was standing right there in the room—there was a visceral aspect to it. She told me, “You need to know that you are a seer, and I’ve been told I must tell you this.” When she said those words, it was like a surge of energy moved through me. It was exactly what I needed to hear—to understand that the experiences I was having, which seemed so different from everyone else’s, had a purpose.

I remember telling my father the next day. I’d just gotten home from school, and he was home early to tell me that his mother had passed. I said, “Oh, I know. She came to visit me last night and told me I was going to get this ring.” It was a diamond ring meant for me when I turned sixteen. My parents were stunned. Neither of them spoke to me for about two days because they hadn’t told me about the ring—it was supposed to be a surprise. They didn’t know what to do with this information.

As time went on, I stopped sharing my experiences with them, even though I was still hearing everything. Supposedly, I shut it down in my early twenties when I went off to college. But even then, the experiences never truly stopped.

Later, my mother told me, “I want you to know that I am a prophetess, and I shut that down years ago.” I remember getting chills when she said it.

And what was her reason? Why did she do that?

Phyllis Douglass: She was raised in a Baptist church, where abilities like seeing the future or communing with spirits were considered evil if they happened outside the church. It scared her, so she shut it down. But my sister and I would look at each other like, “Yeah, no—you didn’t completely shut that down,” because there were times she knew things she shouldn’t have known. It would seep through.

Over time, she began speaking about it more openly, and I learned that this gift ran through both my mother’s and father’s lines. I came here with a mission, and I had to understand that.

Growing up in a small town, my only option at first was to explore different churches. Of course, I didn’t find anything truly in alignment or resonance there. When I moved to a larger city to continue my degree, I finally discovered spiritual classes—such as psychic mediumship and metaphysical studies—and that was a blessing. Yet I was still attending church. I was told to do both because they said, “You’ll have your own deeper understanding of religion from a spiritual perspective.”

So I’d sit in the congregation with a completely different understanding of what was happening and what I was hearing. They made me read the Bible twice—something I didn’t want to do—but as I read certain parts, they would guide me: “We want you to understand what this means.” For example, the seven keys of Solomon—they explained those as the seven main energy centers, or what people call chakras.

Through all of this, I’ve had ongoing teachings. Even when it came to scary paranormal movies—which I no longer wanted to watch—they insisted I watch them. They wanted me to see that many of the things portrayed in those films had actually happened to me earlier in life. They said, “You need to understand what other humans are experiencing so you can help them from a deeper perspective—so you believe what they’re telling you.”

That’s really what I’ve been going through all along.

At what point did you begin to focus more of your work or career in a spiritual direction? How did that unfold for you?

Phyllis Douglass: The very first experience that made me realize, “This is real,” happened in grad school. For years, there had always been this little nagging thought: “Am I crazy?” But I couldn’t really tell myself that, because the experiences were undeniable—I was living between two worlds.

One day, I was walking down this huge flight of cement steps on my way to visit a friend. I misstepped at the top, and suddenly this energy whooshed around me—like a blue, sparkly essence. The next thing I knew, within seconds, I was stepping down on the bottom platform. I just stood there in shock, thinking, “What just happened?” And I knew the angels were there. I could feel their profound energy. I literally turned around, yelled “Thank you!” and then ran into the building—half in awe, half terrified.

That was the moment I realized there’s something higher, something bigger than me. I’m here to do more than I was doing then. That was the beginning of my true spiritual unfolding.

From there, I was guided intuitively—one thing leading to the next. It became a cumulative experience that was preparing me. I’ve done many things over the years. I was a psychic medium and a podium medium in the Spiritualist Church for many years. Gradually, the energy would shift me out of each phase—“Your time is up here, move on”—so I experienced a lot of transitions.

I also started out in sound healing. I hauled around my gongs and singing bowls—most of which I’ve since sold, though I still have some. While working energetically with clients, Archangel Michael came in and said, “You’re going to begin to sing.”

Phyllis Douglass - Awakened Magazine

Had you been a singer growing up? I mean, obviously, in the church we all sing, but was singing an emphasis for you?

Phyllis Douglass: I was always singing. My father was deeply into jazz and classical music, so that’s what I grew up with. I played the piano and violin, and I also started singing in the church choir. When I first started college many years ago, I was actually a violin and voice major. That didn’t last long—not because I lacked interest, but because the energies were pulling me out of it. It wasn’t where I was supposed to be.

So I’ve always been musical, a kind of musician of sorts. One day, while working with a client, I leaned down to her ear and said, “Apparently, I’m going to sing to you.” She just said, “Okay…” I opened my mouth and something came out. Afterward, she told me, “Phyllis, that was the most profound session I’ve ever had.”

I didn’t know exactly what it was at first, but singing—creating through sound, vibration, and frequency—is part of my Seraph nature. They simply began bringing all these elements into my life.

I wouldn’t say the real information began to come in until maybe a couple of years ago. Until then, it was experience after experience after experience—each one elevating the next.

A couple of years ago, things shifted again. I realized, “All right, I need to accept this.” My friend calls it a “heavenly mandate”—receiving direct guidance to do certain things with my particular skill set. That’s when I began learning about bi-location. They helped me with it at first, and then it evolved into specific missions—sometimes very confidential—that are now part of my spiritual practice. Most people don’t know about this aspect of my work, but, well, I guess they do now.

Phyllis, I have a couple of questions for you regarding language. When you say that you are “Seraph” and that you have a “Seraph nature,” what does that mean?

Phyllis Douglass: For me, it comes from the Seraphim Angels. I am a Seraphim Angel who was given a soul aspect so I could enter into physical form. I didn’t start telling people about that until just a couple of years ago.

One of the key turning points came while I was doing the transmission work I’m known for. When it was complete, Archangel Michael came in and said, “You have to begin understanding and accepting who you truly are, because if you don’t, you cannot complete your mission.”

I knew it was true, but I didn’t want to express it. At the time, there was still fear—what would happen if I stepped fully into that higher arena?

But nothing bad happened. In fact, people respected me more and began to understand my work on a deeper level. When that energy came in, more of my angelic powers emerged, and my work jumped to the next level.

That’s when I began my mission work in earnest and fully stepped into what I’m here to do.

Phyllis Douglass - Awakened Magazine

I want to know what you sense your mission is in life right now. But before we get to that, could you explain bi-location? What does it mean to bi-locate? And maybe, without breaching confidentiality, give us an example of a mission you’ve participated in.

Phyllis Douglass: For me, bi-location means I can be in two different places at once. My consciousness can move into another location so fully that I’m physically present there, even though my body remains here.

In the beginning, it felt like I was simply envisioning another place—like being a seer looking through another being’s eyes. But over time, it became a true physical presence: I can take form in another place, and my consciousness is within that form, while part of my awareness remains in my body.

When people first witnessed it, it looked like I was asleep. Now, though, I can sometimes speak and function while being in both places at once.

One of my earliest experiences was with Göbekli Tepe. For years, I’d been told I was going to “activate” it, and I thought I’d need to buy a plane ticket and fly there. But because of various restrictions, I couldn’t just show up and start doing the work. So instead, they bi-located me there. I did the activation work at different plateaus—many of which have since been discovered.

Another example was more intense. I was told there was an entity—what most would call demonic—that had been sealed many centuries ago within a chamber beneath an ancient structure. Over time, people who once knew of it had died, and this being was abandoned.

They told me how to prepare and pinpoint the location. Suddenly, I was standing in this stone-hewn chamber with old gaslights flickering. I felt the breath of a dark shadow on me; it turned and looked at me. It was very angry—not at me, but at its situation.

I said, “I’ll be back within seven days to release you,” and left. On the sixth or seventh day, I created a small ceremony and returned to the site. I opened an aperture through our reality to its own so that it could leave.

There are other missions, too—going into war-torn areas or places of conflict between human, angelic, or galactic realms. Over the years, my assignments have intensified as I’ve learned what to do and how to do it.

Beyond these smaller missions, how would you describe your overall mission in this season of life? If I met you on the street and asked, “What are you up to in life?” how would you describe your mission?

Phyllis Douglass: My key mission is not only to be living, eating, breathing, walking proof, but also to assist people in understanding their true nature—that they are God within a physical expression. The human aspect of who we are is just that: an aspect. We are in a human vehicle, but the truth of who we are is that we are divine, eternal beings of light anchored to this vehicle, experiencing a physical life.

We have to understand this before we can truly begin the higher aspects of our awakening and ascension process. Ascension occurs in physical form now; we don’t have to leave the body to ascend. I used to argue, “Isn’t that descension?”  But we are ascending within our physical form. It’s an anchoring of our “I AM” presence—our aspect closest to the eternal, omnipresent God—into physical form, so we may express our holy selves here and now.

One of the ways you serve humanity in this mission is what you call “alchemical light language.” You do this through private sessions, group presentations, and even albums. When were you first exposed to light language, and how did it develop in your life? How is it different now in the way that you express or utilize it?

Phyllis Douglass: Because I’m always speaking with the angels, I was already speaking an unknown language as a little girl. My parents called it “gobbledygook,” but it was actually light language. I was speaking it as a child because I was communicating with my friends. I stopped as I got older, but it began to creep back in, mostly through singing. At first, I thought it was seed syllables or tones, but it was more than that.

A friend invited me to a class in Mount Shasta—something like Shambhala Reiki. There were supposed to be seven people there, but only two of us showed up. I always know Spirit has something planned when that happens. During the class, the instructor said, “I’m being told to do a Halo Opening for you. Would you like me to?” I agreed and lay down on the table.

The moment she touched me, I was gone. I was back in that bright, brilliant space, speaking a language I now call alchemical light language. My body was shaking. She later said, “Phyllis, I’ve been trying to bring you back for 20 minutes.” When she asked me what I’d experienced, I opened my mouth to answer. In my head, I was speaking English, but my words came out in a light language.

Eight and a half hours later, I was able to speak English again. At the time, it was frightening—“I can’t go home to my husband speaking light language!”—but it’s funny now. Back at the hotel, my friend asked a question, and suddenly English came out. I was so relieved.

Since that time, I’ve been able to speak light language continuously, and it has expanded. Because it’s a frequency-based language, the more I allowed it to flow, the more resonance, frequency, and vibration came through it. Light language is really a bridge—a carrier for encoded symbols, sacred geometry, and frequency-based information.

I call it “alchemical light language” because it assists people on an alchemical level, releasing distortions and all that no longer serves them, bringing them into resonance with their true essence or divine template—their “soul blueprint.” This process activates the awakening process and recalibrates the nervous system on an energetic level. It transforms and transmutes something within you, catalyzing the next step of your evolution.

Phyllis Douglass - Awakened Magazine

Your newest album is called Creation. What was the inspiration behind this album, and how would you like people to listen to it?

Phyllis Douglass - Awakened MagazinePhyllis Douglass: All of my music consists of transmissions. I’ve never sat down to “create” a song. What happens is Elohim will tell me it’s time to go into the recording studio. Prior to that, they tell me what instruments to bring, if any. I’m downloaded with any lyrics there might be—most of which come to me poetically rather than as traditional song lyrics.

For this album, I began writing poems about creation—poems about my life and evolutionary process, the evolution of Homo sapiens. . . Everything is interconnected—“his story, her story, your story, our story.” It’s a story of everyone and everything.

When we recorded, they directed me track by track. Sometimes it was vocals, sometimes an instrument. A melody might come into my head, and I’d just play it. Everything was divinely orchestrated. This album took many months to complete, whereas some songs in the past came through in a few hours.

When people play it, the energy ripples out into the world. Creation is the ultimate transmission. It contains nine alchemical songs and nine interludes, which they call Celestial Keys—alchemical light language activations. Between each song are nine Genesis Gates, which are channeled passages of sonic awakening.

From the beginning, the album takes you from the origins of creation—where there is “no thing”—through the awakening process, culminating in a more futuristic genesis of becoming the “new human.” It’s not music you put on to “rock out” in your car. You can listen to it during meditation, or let it permeate and elevate your space. It’s both a transmission and an activation. The more you listen, the more it opens and transforms you.

Would you be willing to share a short transmission right now so that people could get a flavor of how you share this language? Or should we simply link them to the album? What would be best for you?

Phyllis Douglass: I would link them to the album, because I’m not presently set up properly to perform a Transmission today. I’m not actually sure if it would work with this platform because I have a special setup that ensures it sounds a certain way.

The album is currently available on Bandcamp. Is that correct?

Phyllis Douglass: Yes. Very soon, it will also be on Apple Music, Spotify, and other platforms. I started out on Bandcamp because this isn’t music you simply “purchase” like dance music. It’s a transmission. There’s a reciprocity that takes place when people listen or purchase it—a mutual exchange of energy. That’s something I’ve been working through as I expand it to other platforms.

You also offer Soul Architecture and Harmonic Recalibration Sessions. What are these private sessions? What challenges are people coming to you with, and what happens during them?

Phyllis Douglass: Most of my clients and students, until recently, have been women—often people of a more mature age who have spent their lives in corporate environments, are retiring, or are simply realizing there’s more to life than what they’ve been living. They feel a call from the eternal omnipresence—a pull home to the true self. This creates discomfort in their everyday lives, a sense of dissatisfaction, and a longing for “something else.”

People call me a healer, and yes, many people heal—sometimes immediately, sometimes over time. But I don’t like the word “healer” because I facilitate healing. You are your own greatest teacher and healer. My work is to open the door and support what’s already within you.

Sometimes, physical pain signals that the body is trying to communicate. That pain may be a catalyst for an evolutionary process. Not all pain is meant to be removed; sometimes it is meant to open us up. My work is an awakening process—revealing what within you is signaling that your present reality no longer aligns with your true nature. When you’re “not happy” or “not aligned,” it’s because you’re expanding beyond resonance with your old life. I facilitate the next step by reopening you to your own truth.

Everything is frequency. In these sessions, I dismantle discordant frequencies, bring them into balance, and elevate them through entrainment. This literally shifts your reality, expands it, and opens you to the next expression of self.

Phyllis Douglass - Awakened Magazine

Are these sessions primarily online?

Phyllis Douglass: They are all online. My Seraph nature is to architect new worlds and realities. In a session, when I look at you, I see both your physical and energetic architecture along with the Earth’s grid matrix. It can be overwhelming because I see it all, but then my vision is guided and focused on the areas that need work.

I have an innate knowing of the Divine Template or Soul Blueprint. I can begin reconfiguring through sound or energetic manipulation until I create balance within your energetic architecture. Once the frequency is altered, change begins to happen. You start to transform spiritually, energetically, and physically. That’s the essence of these sessions—facilitating your unfolding into your next level of being.

Do you find that your work is more of a one-session experience for people, or are multiple sessions helpful? How does that work for clients?

Phyllis Douglass: It’s a little of both. People generally do multiple sessions, but not back-to-back. Each time we meet, we’re looking at who you are in that present moment. If you did a session last year or a few months ago, you’re not the same person now. Typically, people feel a little stuck or sense it’s time to take the next step, and their own intuition guides them back to me. We do another session, and that elevates them to their next level. Then they go off and whatever unfolds, unfolds.

It’s really about helping people go up the proverbial ladder—moving rung by rung. Some clients I never see again. Others return after a long time with incredible stories of transformation. I once had a woman come back after a couple of years. She said, “My life blew up—in the best way.” She explained everything that had unfolded, and it was such a gift to hear that. It keeps me going, knowing that what I’m doing is having a beautiful, powerful effect on people’s lives.

Ultimately, the understanding is that when you step into your true nature, you are powerful. Your birthright is power. Archangel Michael often reminds me of Jesus of Nazareth in this way—biblically, Jesus always said, “You’re just like me. You can do what I’m doing. I’m not special.” He had a deep connection and understanding that he was God in physical form. So are we. When we understand that, our lives begin to change. We become free of the holds—almost enslavements—of old paradigms. We become sovereign and start creating our own lives.

One of the things included in your sessions is something you call a Soul Key. What is a Soul Key, and how can an individual work with it?

Phyllis Douglass: The Elohim, angels, and guides bring your energy into a form. A Soul Key is essentially a symbol or glyph created during your session that holds the frequency of everything you’ve received. Afterward, I will send you an audio recording and a PNG file of your Soul Key symbol.

I tell people to print it out and hang it in rooms they frequent, keep it on a bedside table, or place it on an altar. It elevates and imbues your space with those higher frequencies, so you’re steeped in them like a tea bag.

You mentioned your husband earlier. He’s seen you through a metamorphosis of your development. How does he integrate that himself?

Phyllis Douglass: I don’t know that he does. He’s very honoring and respectful, but early on, he told me, “I don’t have a spiritual bone in my body.”

Phyllis Douglass - Awakened Magazine

How do you navigate that? I ask because many healers, teachers, and coaches are with partners who may not fully understand what they do, yet there’s still love, affection, and friendship. How do you personally process that?

Phyllis Douglass: I asked that same question many years ago. They told me, “Your husband is your Rock of Gibraltar.” They gave me an image of him next to a giant stone, and I was tied to the stone, floating like a helium balloon. He roots me. He may not realize it, but he has so much light, and he grounds me in physical reality so I can do what I do.

Once, many years ago, I was frustrated and stomped off to the bedroom. Not long after, he came in and said, “You have to realize I’m here and you’re way over there—gesturing with his arms. I don’t know what it is you do, but you must be damn good at it.”  Then he left. That moment made me laugh.

I think where relationships get in trouble is when people believe they’re supposed to be two peas in a pod all the time. That’s not true. There’s an evolutionary process for everyone; things change. You weave your lives together, but you also allow each other to be who you truly are.

A lot of relationships fail because one person says, “I don’t want you to be who you are. I want you to be who we are. I want you to be who I am.” But in a relationship, there’s always a resonance. When relationships fail, it’s often because that resonance fades. It can take work, but you also need to nurture the common ground that brought you together in the first place.

I always say there are three aspects to a relationship: you, the other person, and the confluence of energy that brought you together. You have to pay attention to and positively fuel that confluence of energy.

Thank you for sharing that. I’m curious about your Starfire Light Technology Training. This is a multi-step process you offer. Who is it for, and how does it benefit them?

Phyllis Douglass: Starfire Light Technology is for everyone. It’s a light technology that awakens and drives you toward ascension—if that’s your desire. It can be used as a healing modality for others, but primarily it’s for you.

It was brought to me piecemeal. At first, Starfire was just a solar frequency. Over time, they built this as I began to work with it. They called it Starfire Light Technology, and I downloaded all the information and gates. It’s an initiatory process that takes you through five separate gates. The fifth gate, Quintessence, is essentially the embodiment of your “I AM” presence.

It begins with the recognition that everything is made of what’s called the seven frequencies of origin—earth, wind, fire, water, solar, lunar, and so forth. You dive deeply into that understanding and progress through each level. As I initiated people, it became exponentially powerful. We’re now tasked with spreading Starfire Light Technology to as many people as possible, in hopes of reaching critical mass within our morphic field.

This technology is essentially a gift from God through Elohim to humanity, to support the awakening process.

Years ago, the angels gave me a metaphor. They said, “You’re like a holy chalice—a goblet.” The physical body is the stem of the goblet; your feet are grounded to the earth. Light pours into the goblet and narrows as it comes down through the stem into the body. As the light fills you, it applies pressure to anything not in resonance with your true self. Past experiences, emotions, old beliefs—all of it surfaces so it can be dealt with and released.

People often ask, “Why is all this coming forward now?” It’s because the light is pressing down, and you’re being prepared to step into a new truth. The process helps release what’s no longer true and aligns you with the higher truth. That’s what Starfire Light Technology does—bringing in more and more light while assisting you in letting go of all that no longer aligns.

Another thing you offer is sacred alchemical tools, which people can find at AlchemicalSacreds.com. These link to your Etsy site, where you’ve created some beautiful tools. Tell us about them—what their purpose is, and specifically about the Lumion Healing Rod and Pathway Receptor Rods. How did you begin creating these?

Phyllis Douglass: It came through what I call a heavenly mandate. Years ago, I used to create customized or commissioned jewelry. One day, I received a download that I was to create a tool called the Lemurian Healing Disc.

Not long after, I was contacted by a man in the UK who said, “You’re going to think this is strange, but in meditation, I was told to reach out to you to create a Lemurian Healing Rod.”

At first, I didn’t know how to make these tools—I didn’t know how to etch copper or activate it. But I was shown what to do. The original design was a flat disc, but they told me it needed to be a rod, because people are familiar with wands. So I learned how to etch copper and create the rods. Once made, they are placed in an alchemical activation chamber. If the item is intended for a specific person, their name and birthdate are included. Elohim then takes the tools to another place for activation, and after a set number of days, they are returned. When the owner first touches the item, it alchemically bonds to them—it becomes theirs alone.

The Lemurian Healing Rod can be used for spiritual healing and to enhance personal gifts. It amplifies whatever practice you already have, whether it’s Reiki, intuitive healing, or ceremony. You can hold it during meditation, use it in rituals, or even place it in a crystal grid to continually transmit energy to a person or intention. It becomes an extension of who you are and what you do.

The Pathway Receptor Rods work differently. They are not alchemically bonded, so they can be used with clients. They help energy flow through the body, releasing blockages physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Some psychologists even have their patients hold them during sessions to support emotional release. They can also be used in meditation to deepen energy flow.

At first, I was skeptical about how powerful these tools were. I thought, “Is any of this true?” But people kept returning with glowing feedback, telling me how transformative the tools were. That’s when I began to fully appreciate their impact.

Over time, I created other tools as well. One is the Celestial Power Chamber, which can be worn as a talisman. It protects you from outside influences while emanating and amplifying your own personal power. I’m also developing new tools that I can’t share details about yet, but I know they will be among the most powerful I’ve ever created.

All of these tools support the same purpose as the rest of my work: to open people to their full embodiment in this form, to aid their spiritual awakening, and to elevate the healing they do for themselves and others.

Phyllis Douglass - Awakened Magazine

You have so many ways of helping people. If someone wanted to engage with your work, what would be a good first step?

Phyllis Douglass: I usually guide people to begin with a session. My Etsy shop, Alchemical Sacreds, and the spiritual work I do are intertwined, but they’re separate avenues. The core of my work is the session. In the past, I offered different types of sessions, but now everything has been refined into one. It weaves together all that I am and everything I do.

It takes you from who you present yourself to be in that moment we meet and elevates you from there. People sometimes say, “I don’t think I’m ready.” But you are. There’s no preparation. The session helps you unfold—whether that’s beginning the process or moving further along.

Where can people book a session and follow you online?

Phyllis Douglass: Everything is on my website: PhyllisDouglass.com. From there, you can find all the other platforms. I’m consolidating my work so that everything lives in one place. That’s my hub.

If someone listening today is feeling stuck—wondering, “Is there more to life?”—what encouragement would you give them?

Phyllis Douglass: Often when people feel stuck, it’s because they’re diminishing themselves—or allowing others to diminish them—their true worth, their true value, their true essence. My encouragement is this: follow your excitement.

That’s the intuitive key we’ve all been given. When something makes your heart sing, when you feel excited, that’s your higher self pointing you toward what’s in alignment with who you truly are. But many people get trapped in old paradigms—thinking, “This is what I’m supposed to be doing to have worth or value.” That’s not the truth.

We are here to experience, not to be defined by our experiences. Birth is our first experience, and then we have one after another until our final transition. Every experience is valuable, whether joyful or painful. If it was painful, we learn, “I don’t want that again,” and move on. If it was joyful, we seek more of it.

When we remember that we are the creators of our reality, life changes. If you have a thought like, “I want to create this,” that thought came to you for a reason. Move in that direction. As soon as you take the first steps, the universe responds. Angels, guides, loved ones—they’re all there saying, “Yes, let’s help.” They provide the signposts and tools you need to move forward.

It may not always be easy, but if you ask for assistance, you’ll receive it. The key is to follow your excitement. It’s been speaking to you all along.

Thank you, Phyllis. It’s been wonderful to hear your story and wisdom.
