These are the friends who always have your back, the business partners who seem to share your vision perfectly, and the spouses who provide a safe harbor for your heart. While these relationships still offer challenges—because soul growth is always our primary objective—they are rooted in a mutual desire to see one another succeed.

Karmic Contracts, on the other hand, involve “old stories.” These are relationships where souls have become stuck in patterns of conflict, debt, or betrayal in past lives. Sometimes, we even choose a family specifically because their limiting beliefs will trigger a past-life trauma we are finally ready to heal. 

Healing the Threads of Trauma

Perhaps the most difficult concept to grasp is why we would ever write a contract that involves abuse or trauma. The Record Keepers teach that these “brick wall” lessons are often designed to help us evolve in love and wisdom at an accelerated rate.
