There was a time I believed beauty was something to achieve.
Something to perfect.
Something to earn.
Something that lived outside of me, waiting in a mirror, in validation, in someone else’s gaze.
But life… in its wild, unraveling wisdom… taught me something deeper.
Beauty is not something you become.
It is something you remember.
I remember standing in Costa Rica, barefoot in the warm sand, the air thick with life… humid, alive, breathing. There was a softness there… a reverence woven into the way the locals experienced the world.

“Qué linda,” they would say.
And what struck me wasn’t just the words, it was what the something is, truly is. were words pointing to.
Because qué linda wasn’t reserved for appearance.
It lived in the moment someone offered kindness, how sweet.
In the way a woman carried herself with presence, how graceful.
In the ocean, catching the light just right, how beautiful.
In a shared evening that felt simple yet full, how lovely.
Qué linda.
It was more than a compliment.
It was recognition of internal beauty.
A quiet honoring of something real.
Something felt.
Something alive.
Beauty wasn’t being measured.
It was being witnessed.
Something in me softened when I realized…
Beauty, in its truest form, is not about how something looks.
It is about how something is truly.
How it moves.
How it touches.
How it exists in its own natural truth.
We have been taught to chase beauty like it is something fleeting—something fragile that can be lost with age, time, or imperfection.
But the kind of beauty that changes a room…
the kind that softens hearts…
the kind that makes people feel safe in your presence…
That beauty does not come from perfection.
It comes from embodiment.
From a woman who has walked through fire and chose not to harden—but to soften.
From a nervous system that has learned safety again, breath by breath.
From a heart that has been broken… and still dares to love.
There is beauty in the becoming.
In the days you don’t have it all together but choose to show up anyway.
In the quiet moments, where you meet yourself with compassion instead of criticism.
In the trembling decision to choose yourself, even when every old pattern asks you not to.
We don’t talk about that kind of beauty enough.
The beauty of rebuilding.
The beauty of releasing.
The beauty of sitting in the unknown and not running.
That is sacred.
That is where the divine reveals itself, not in perfection, but in presence.
Think of the lotus.
It does not bloom despite the mud.
It blooms because of it.
Rooted in darkness… in pressure… in unseen depths…
and still…..
it rises.
Soft.
Open.
Unapologetically radiant.
The mud is not the obstacle but the initiation.
Recently, I chose to mark my body with symbols that reflect my healing journey, including a sacral lotus —reminders of faith, transformation, divine guidance, and rebirth.
Not from a place of needing to become someone else but from finally honoring who I already am.
Every line etched into my skin felt less like decoration and more like remembrance.
A reclamation.
A woman no longer hiding her becoming but wearing it with honor and pride.

Many women I work with have spent years believing their pain disqualified them from beauty.
That their past made them “too much,” “too broken,” “too complicated.”
But I sat across from them, held space for their stories, and witnessed their healing. I can tell you this truth with unwavering certainty:
There is nothing more beautiful than a woman who has chosen to come home to herself.
Not the version of her shaped by survival.
Not the version molded to be accepted.
But the version God created, that is real.
Raw.
Grounded.
Alive.
Thriving.
When you begin to see beauty this way, everything changes.
You start to notice it in the little details, synchronicities; the universe shows you the way.
In the way your breath deepens when you finally feel safe.
In the way your body softens when you stop fighting it.
In the way your eyes light up when you speak your truth.
Beauty becomes sensory.
It becomes embodied.
It becomes sacred.
And here is the quiet truth no one told us:
Inner beauty is not separate from outer beauty.
In the way you carry yourself.
In the way you speak.
In the energy you bring into a room.
People don’t just see you. They feel you.
I understand this now in a way I never could imagine.
Recently, I found myself standing in front of the mirror, not searching for flaws… not asking to be chosen… but simply witnessing the woman staring back at me with reverence.
And to my surprise, tears came.
Not from sadness.
From gratitude.

Gratitude for the woman who survived.
Gratitude for the woman who softened instead of hardened.
Gratitude for the woman who kept choosing healing, even when it was uncomfortable, lonely, and deeply confronting.
For the first time, I wasn’t looking at myself through the eyes of conditioning or comparison.
I was seeing myself through the eyes of love.
And that… felt sacred.
And when a woman is rooted in self-trust…
when she is anchored in her worth…
when she no longer seeks permission to exist as she is…
There is a radiance that no product, no trend, no external validation could ever replicate.
So maybe beauty isn’t something to chase.
It is something to uncover.
To soften into.
To breathe into.
To remember.
It lives in the moments you choose presence over perfection.
Compassion over criticism.
Truth over performance.
Beauty is the sacred within, finally being seen.
When a woman stops abandoning herself.
When she trusts the whispers placed on her heart.
When she allows herself to be seen.
When she stops waiting for permission to live the life calling her forward.
I used to think beauty lived in certainty, perfection, and control.
But now I believe beauty lives in surrender.
In truth.
In the trembling yet powerful moment, a woman says yes to herself, fully, unapologetically.
And when you look at yourself—truly look—beyond the layers of conditioning, beyond the stories that told you who you had to be…
Pause.
Breathe.
Feel.
Not what you’ve been taught to see —but what is actually there.
The softness.
The strength.
Life is moving through you.
And when you see it… really see it…
You won’t rush to change it.
You’ll honor it.
You’ll recognize it.
Softly at first… then with certainty…
Qué linda.
In your presence.
In your becoming.
In your truth.
Because the most beautiful thing a woman can become is herself.
Whole.
Present.
Open.
Unafraid to shine.
