The Shift of Energy and the Independence of the Soul

As humanity moves through a profound change in consciousness, the greatest transformation is not happening around us—it is happening within us. Discover why the soul is calling us to trust our inner wisdom, embrace spiritual independence, and remember the power we have always carried within.

Over the past few years, I have noticed a profound change taking place—not just within the spiritual community, but within humanity itself. People who once relied on traditions, institutions, teachers, relationships, or even family expectations are beginning to ask a different question:

“Who am I when I stand in my own light?”

This question represents one of the greatest energetic shifts of our time. It is the movement from dependence to spiritual independence. It is the awakening of the soul.

Many people spend years searching for someone to tell them what to do. We seek approval, guidance, validation, or permission before making decisions. While there is nothing wrong with learning from others, there comes a moment in every soul’s evolution when it must begin listening to its own wisdom.

This is what I call the independence of the soul.

The soul was never created to be controlled. It was created to experience, explore, learn, and ultimately remember its divine nature. Throughout many lifetimes, we often give away our power. We may become dependent upon religious systems, family beliefs, social expectations, careers, relationships, or even spiritual teachers. Each serves a purpose for a time, yet eventually every soul reaches a crossroads where it must choose authenticity over comfort.

The energetic shift we are witnessing today is encouraging exactly that.

Many people describe feeling unsettled, disconnected, or uncertain. Old friendships fade. Careers that once felt fulfilling suddenly feel empty. Long-held beliefs begin to unravel. At first this can feel frightening, but I see something very different.

I see liberation.

Energy is always moving. It is never static. Just as the seasons change and rivers continue to flow, our consciousness is constantly evolving. What once nourished us may no longer be enough. The soul continually seeks expansion, and when our external life no longer reflects our internal growth, change becomes inevitable.

Rather than resisting this process, we can begin to understand its deeper purpose.

The soul is asking us to become self-responsible.

This does not mean becoming isolated or believing we have all the answers. Instead, it means developing enough inner trust to make decisions from wisdom rather than fear. It means recognizing that while teachers, mentors, and guides can illuminate the path, they cannot walk it for us.

One of the greatest lessons I have learned through working in the Akashic Records is that every soul carries an extraordinary level of inner intelligence. Beneath the noise of everyday life exists a quiet knowing. This wisdom has traveled with us through many lifetimes. It remembers our strengths, our challenges, our gifts and our purpose.

The more we learn to listen to this inner guidance, the less dependent we become on external validation.

Ironically, this independence creates healthier relationships.

When we stop expecting others to complete us, rescue us, or define us, we begin meeting people from a place of wholeness rather than need. Relationships become partnerships instead of emotional contracts. Love becomes freer because it is based upon choice rather than attachment.

The same applies to our spiritual development.

True spiritual maturity is not about collecting more courses, more certificates, or more experiences. It is about integrating what we have already learned until it becomes lived wisdom. Knowledge becomes transformation only when we embody it.

This shift also requires courage.

Independence often means standing apart from the crowd. Sometimes your decisions will not be understood by family or friends. Sometimes your inner guidance will lead you in a direction that appears illogical to others. Yet the soul does not measure success by popularity. It measures success by authenticity.

Throughout history, every great mystic, healer, and visionary eventually had to trust their own inner connection with the Divine. Their strength came not from following the crowd but from remaining faithful to the truth they carried within.

That same potential exists within each of us.

The beautiful thing about energetic independence is that it does not separate us from others—it connects us more deeply. When we are no longer seeking energy from outside ourselves, we become capable of giving from a place of abundance. Compassion grows naturally because we are no longer operating from fear or lack.

This creates a ripple effect.

One independent soul inspires another. Families begin to heal. Communities become stronger. Fear slowly gives way to cooperation because people are making conscious choices instead of reactive ones.

As we move into this new era of consciousness, I believe one of the greatest spiritual practices is learning to trust ourselves again.

Take time each day to become still. Listen before speaking. Feel before reacting. Ask yourself whether your choices come from fear or from love. Learn to recognize the quiet voice of your soul beneath the noise of the world.

The answers you seek may not always arrive immediately, but they will come.

The independence of the soul is not about walking alone. It is about walking with confidence, knowing that the Divine has always been present within you.

Perhaps this is the true shift of energy taking place across our world.

Not that we are becoming more powerful, but that we are finally remembering the power we have carried all along.

And when enough souls remember who they truly are, the world itself begins to change.
