What does it take to awaken one’s inner abilities and use them to guide others toward transformation?
For NOCCI Yamashita, her journey began in a deeply spiritual environment, surrounded by daily Buddhist practices with her mother. Initially, her connection to spirituality was rooted in tradition, but it wasn’t until later in life—after meeting Eric and discovering the world of energy and vibration—that NOCCI’s path truly shifted. Her awakening was marked by a deep dive into tarot and the discovery of her own psychic abilities. What started as a personal practice soon blossomed into a mission to help others activate their third eye and unlock their true potential. Today, NOCCI’s courses, primarily offered in Japan, are transforming lives as people experience profound shifts in perception and consciousness.
Today, NOCCI shares how her experiences with tarot, channeling, and energy work have led to a deeper understanding of the third eye. Through her teachings, she helps others tap into their innate abilities to perceive beyond the physical world, guiding them on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment. In this conversation, NOCCI and Eric discuss the impact of quantum jumping, the awakening process, and how they use energy work to activate the third eye, ultimately helping individuals align with their true selves. Whether you’re looking for clarity or seeking a deeper connection with your higher self, NOCCI’s insights offer a powerful guide. I think it’s interesting that you guys have this global perspective of what’s going on in terms of the spiritual landscape. I know that most of your clients are actually in Japan, so help us understand what you see is unfolding in our world on a spiritual level.
Eric: It’s constantly unfolding. People are getting more and more awakened every day, we can say. It’s a very fulfilling feeling to see that these people around us are starting to wake up more and more. Obviously, it’s a helpful thing with our political system and everything that’s going on in the world.
We have been fortunate enough to tap into a niche in the Japanese market, which is a great thing, because everybody sees you as being different and special when you’re not living in your own country for some reason. That’s really strange, but it’s working.
NOCCI, what are your thoughts on that?
NOCCI Yamashita: People start focusing on more fulfillment of inner satisfaction and not focusing on material things. Many people say, “No, I think I don’t need a car anymore,” like this. And many people say, “Oh, I wanted to have more, like, a luxury bag, but I think I don’t need it anymore.” In Japan, my client also says like this, and also here in Germany, many people also start saying like this. They are changing what they focus on. Their mindset is shifting from the material to more inner satisfaction.
NOCCI, tell us about your own story of awakening to mindfulness, spirituality, and consciousness. Did you grow up in a home that had some sort of faith or spirituality as you were a kid?
NOCCI Yamashita: I grew up in Japan, and my mother was a very serious Buddhist. She was always chanting every morning and every night. I also chanted with her to give thanks to Buddha and our ancestors every day. It was just part of my life. I thought it was normal, but not so serious about spirituality or Buddhism. When I was 38 years old, I met him. Then, he taught me about energy and vibration. I started to be interested, and I started awakening more. Started developing an interest in spiritual processes and ideas, and found a way to tarot cards.
Tarot cards were the entryway?
NOCCI Yamashita: I didn’t have tarot cards. I didn’t take any private sessions from anyone, but I just found a tarot reading on a YouTube channel. Then, I thought, “Oh, very interesting.” Then, I started doing tarot readings for myself and put my video on my YouTube channel. Then, I found out my psychic abilities. It was excitement, and I followed my excitement, and I found my channeling ability.
Eric, how about you? You grew up here in the United States. What is your own story of awakening? Was faith a part of your life as well?
Eric: I was born and raised in Orange County, California. Our family had a Catholic background, but it wasn’t very strong. We went to church every once in a while, but it wasn’t a main theme in our family at all.
As I got into my teens and after that, I found my way to Edgar Cayce, who was a prophet, and some other channels, Jane Roberts and the Seth Material. Those are very inspiring for me to want to become a channel and to look into this area of my life.
From there, I just left California to go to Europe to start modeling. And then, traveling, I had the free time and the ability to meet different kinds of healers and channels, work and do seminars, and really explore the whole spiritual realm and energy working areas that were offered and around, which were very many at the time, but we’re still around.
Tell me how you guys met then, because now this is like a coming together of worlds.
Eric: We both had dogs at the time and were on a dog walk. I’ve always been very focused on the idea that if people have dogs, it’s the energy of the person that makes a dog, and that their actions and stuff. If anybody had a dog, or I would be out there talking to somebody, I would offer them if I saw that they had problems with dog walking, and I would show them and give them examples, and NOCCI was one of those people.
We started talking a little bit, and then I shared some ideas about spirituality with her and asked her some questions about whether she was interested in it. And then I asked her if she was interested in aliens, to get off the subject of spirituality and things, and to make it a little bit lighter.
Then, we would just meet, talk on walks, and speak about different subjects. I supported her in looking at this because I’ve already been doing my spiritual journey for a number of years, probably 20 years.

Eric, from your perspective, what did you see unfold in NOCCI’s life as you began to introduce her to some of these subjects?
Eric: What unfolded for her was, first, the awakening, which is pretty common for most people. They start to see the angel numbers. We talked about angel numbers and different things like this. And then she really was super focused on the numbers. The numbers were her hot ticket, and she was so aligned with them. She would see numbers all the time, and it was almost irritating to the point where you’d say like, “Okay, please, yes, numbers, they’re just numbers.”
If you use them for something, don’t just see them; make them give you information, ask a question, and use them as a yes or no. And so, she started to use it, see these numbers, and develop in her own way.
At what point in your life, NOCCI, did you decide to serve others through this giftedness in a full-time capacity? Were you working in another industry before this, or how did that transition happen?
NOCCI Yamashita: I was working as an accountant, as a part-time job. I had a one-year-old child at the time. Then, because of the coronavirus, I couldn’t go to work. Then, I had a lot of time. At the same time, I started thinking that I want to help people. What am I doing? Many people are suffering from coronavirus, and many people are helping as volunteers. Then, I thought, “Oh, maybe I need to do something more supportive.”
Eric: I told her that I thought she would make a great coach because of how she spoke about things, her interest, and her passion to really go after this tarot card thing, because she basically has no experience on YouTube and in the whole social media thing. She had some experience from different jobs, of course, but at the end of the day, she picked it up and just started doing it.
It was really amazing her drive to go out and do whatever it is that she found, like, “Oh, tarot card, okay, I’m going to do this.” “Oh, channeling, okay, I’m going to do this.” Whatever it is, a yoga class or whatever. She was going to teach yoga for a while, and whatever it was, she would keep putting it out there and sit there, going, okay, the next thing, the next thing.
It has always changed, and the interesting thing is that her idea has always been to help people. So, the mission has fluctuated in many different ways, left, right, and so on, but she gets more and more focused as the days move on on how she wants to help people, who she wants to help, and so on.
Were you surprised by the response in those early days when you were putting out videos on your channel for Japan viewers, or did you expect a big response?
NOCCI Yamashita: I wish more people would come to my channel. In the beginning, I had just 30 followers. Then, I left a comment on my own post. But I kept engaging, and people started commenting and thanking me. They resonated with the message. After maybe three to five months, I began to gain more subscribers.
But the interesting thing is that something suddenly happened after I had to quit my job and get a divorce. I lost my job too, but suddenly, I gained a lot of subscribers. I started living off the advertisements from my YouTube channel.
Eric: She was truly incredible. She figured out how to handle advertising and get marketing done, and she managed it all by herself in the very beginning. I believe she continued this effort until nearly two-and-a-half or three years ago. Marketing for herself, creating all the Facebook ads, covering all the costs, and really working hard to make everything succeed.

One of the things that’s very central to your teachings is the third eye activation. What is the third eye for people who may not be averse to that? What does it mean to activate it? How would that benefit someone’s life?
Eric: Third eye is, here in this region, in the middle of the forehead, and it’s the pineal gland, and what happens? Well, we actually don’t know exactly what happens, but we do know that this area is activated in connection with us and the work we do with people.
I didn’t get any special message. I don’t think she got special messages that it’s happening, but we offered this awakening. I think first, people just started seeing numbers from energy work, watching our videos, or having a lot of detoxing aspects that would happen.
But the actual process of opening the third eye is developing this inner vision, this inner connection with your source, yourself, your heart, your inner guidance, basically. We help people activate that, and that helps people to be clearer about what their purpose is in life, to find a purpose, or to be clear about whatever situation they’re in. So, that’s kind of the activation quality that opens up this area and stimulates growth for people to look at life in a more connected way, I guess.
When someone signs up for your Third Eye Activation course, what would they experience? How long is it? What are the benefits?
NOCCI Yamashita: I’ll do a promotion for two or three days and collect 2,000 people. I’m talking only about creating your own reality, or what the third eye is. But people start seeing visions already during the promotional videos.
Eric: Simple stuff about grounding, being connected, how to help yourselves, what kind of things maybe to eat, what might happen during the course, maybe, like that, you’ve experienced detoxification and so on.
NOCCI Yamashita: So they start resonating with our energy. Then, they begin to see visions. Some people start coughing a lot and detoxing, encountering numerous synchronicities, such as repeated numbers, with many reporting experiences related to 369. People then describe it as a miracle. They also begin meeting their ancestors in their dreams after participating in the webinar.
This is just a three-day kind of promotion of the course, and you said you’ll get a couple of thousand people to sign up for this. They’re premiering it all in Japan. Eric, do you know Japanese, or how do you participate?
Eric: Not at all. I’m just there like a stick in the background, putting my energy in there…
Just energy work. That’s your work.
Eric: Just sending out the vibe, trying to keep the energy high and supporting everybody.
NOCCI Yamashita: Yeah, but in a three-day webinar, he isn’t.
Eric: Sometimes I’m not even there for the webinar because she’s talking most of the time for two hours or three hours at a time.
NOCCI Yamashita: Only talking.
Once you get people to sign up for the course, then what do they actually experience in the course itself, and how long is it?
NOCCI Yamashita: It’s a 90-day course. If you receive the energy work, then it starts an awakening, but people feel many energies. Energy work is usually done once a week. Then, I have videos talking about how to create your own reality, what happens when you start awakening, and how to cleanse your self-energy using white sage.

Are these new concepts for the majority of people in Japanese culture, or are there other teachers doing similar things in Japan? Is this common, or is it new?
NOCCI Yamashita: That’s very new. Very new. Not so many people are doing third eye awakening. Most people are just taking meditation courses or learning how to manifest.
This is unique in Japan, too. Therefore, my clients said they took many spiritual courses, healing and energy work, or Reiki, but they said they didn’t feel any changes. But after they came to us, they started seeing visions behind their eyelids, many synchronicities, and astral traveling. Therefore, they say it is the first time they felt or experienced something like this. They repeated our course many times.
Eric: There’s a high rate of return of people taking the courses over and over again because they want to be in that energy.
Have you done any live events in Japan or is everything online?
NOCCI Yamashita: In the beginning, only online through Zoom. But last year, we started doing workshops in Japan.
Eric: In one of our first seminars, we had about 85 people, so we did energy work for everybody and put the lights down, and then she went around and cleared everything. And I’m just going around, and I just touched people on their shoulders or sometimes on their forehead, and people were having pretty amazing experiences.
Electricity was a feeling people experienced in their bodies, or some energy, or light. It was very interesting for me because it was the first time that I ever did a seminar in person with anybody, and I was just going by and offering the touch, the feeling, to just kind of help people be more grounded. This came naturally, the feeling to want to either touch their shoulders or touch their forehead.

Eric, were you doing this sort of work prior to NOCCI diving in, or were you focused on other things in life? I’m trying to understand your path into service as well.
Eric: I was modeling for a long time, and after modeling stopped, I started doing life coaching. From life coaching, I just always studied something, researching some way to help people, or I actually was looking to help myself because I thought I was so broken, but it turns out I’m not.
I did my best to figure things out for myself, and then I experienced two cases of cancer, this last five years, and so I had a pretty severe throat cancer, and then I had a year break, and then I got a bone cancer, which was brutal. Basically, I shrank about 11.5 centimeters in my spine.
In my downtime, I would hang out with NOCCI. She would come to the hospital nearly every day and practice her energy work on me, which is a pretty good case to work on. Through that, I started sharing more and more with her, and then she started getting her Japanese clients to get Reiki.
I would send long-distance energy, and so that developed into this team that we would share energy work and work with people, and create this bond to help other people in Japan.
My whole focus was to get at least 5% or 3% of the Japanese population because it’s such a key niche. I don’t feel that the English-speaking community is so easily put into that idea of spirit and openness.
They have so many people marketing them for every little thing, with upsells and downsells, that somehow spirituality loses its finesse or subtlety.
That’s what we’ve been doing, and as I’m healing or getting better, we start to move into a more global market.
How are you doing physically now?
Eric: The same. Every day is a hit or miss. But I’m doing my best to keep a good focus on helping people because that keeps me out of the downfalls and keeps me focused. I’m pretty sure that I’m going to be more than healthy, and I don’t know how long it’s going to take. I’m sure about it. It’s going to happen one way or another.

What are the common problems and challenges that people in Japan come to you with?
NOCCI Yamashita: They are facing relationship problems, depression, and child problems. Children are depressed, and they don’t go to school.
It sounds like the United States. It’s probably just people, right? We all want to connect with other human beings, but we also feel disconnected, suffer from depression and challenges, and try to find purpose.
Eric: I also think that Japan has this connection problem, just talking with each other, men and women. They’re not very easily getting in relationships, and so that’s very difficult.
The women are pretty much pushed down. Their culture pushes them down. They live in a way where they make themselves small. I mean, if you meet Japanese people, you see them always. The women are always laughing and putting their hands over their mouths, or they’re doing things that make them smaller, and you can see that they’re really repressed.
At least that’s my feeling, when I was there and we were meeting the different people in the different towns that we were in, I could see that the women really are… Our clientele is really 98% women who are in their mid-30s to 70s, something like that, and they’re all suffering in some way or some sort of repression, depression, or self-lack.
NOCCI Yamashita: Yeah, confidence.
Would you say that your clients primarily speak Japanese, is it 100% Japanese, or do any of them speak English?
Eric: Very little.
It’s so fun to hear how things are happening in other parts of the world. I love it, it’s so wonderful.
Eric: It’s the same as nearly everywhere, but just a little bit different. Just a slight shift difference.

What does NOCCI’s family think about all this? .
Eric: Well, they love it obviously in the beginning. Her sister is a big help to her with the business, and she handles a lot of the stuff, not all the stuff. She does a lot of the work herself here. But her sister is helping, and her sons were helpful in the seminars that we set up and driving us around, helping us set up, and things like that. But I think they must be happy for her that she’s made this shift in her life.
NOCCI Yamashita: Yeah, I have two other sisters. They live near my family, my parents. Only after I left Japan did they give me freedom, and finally, I can give it back. But I support them in leaving Japan to live overseas.
If there are people who are now watching or listening who are more English-speaking and want to engage with you and the things that you’re teaching, what would be a good first step for them in terms of working with you and the things that you’re teaching?
Eric: Yeah, they can get in contact with us, and I can do private sessions. We can talk about whatever their needs are. It’s actually not a problem. I think we’re doing the course in English. There’s no limitation to supporting people in opening a third eye or having consultations or readings or whatever.
NOCCI Yamashita: We have a website and an Instagram account. Follow us, take a course, and feel free to reach out to us directly.
It’s just so great to meet you guys. I just admire what you’re doing to help the world. I love hearing a unique perspective of other parts of the world. Thank you so much, guys.
Eric: A lot of good things are unfolding in the world. I agree with you. I mean, with you bringing us together in this kind of community. It’s really supportive and lucky for those who have a venue or a place to connect to such a diversity of people, and thank you for that.
NOCCI Yamashita: Thank you so much.
“The third eye activation process is really about awakening an inner vision—a deeper connection to your heart, your intuition, and your inner guidance. As this opens, people often gain clarity about their life purpose or feel more aligned with their path. It’s like a shift that helps them view life in a more connected and meaningful way.”
