Donna McGrath - Awakened Magazine

What is your story of awakening to mindfulness, consciousness, and spirituality? Did you grow up with faith or spirituality in your home environment, or did that come later in life?

Donna McGrath: I’m Serbian Orthodox by background and grew up attending the Serbian Orthodox Church. My mother was very spiritual and took us to church every week. That’s what I grew up doing. I went into college and majored in medical technology. I earned my MTA SCP from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. After that, I worked at the NIH and sort of steered away from spirituality as I became immersed in the scientific realm. I was at the NIH from about 1980 to 1983.

As a molecular biologist, I worked in the Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute. During that time, we discovered a potential cure for sickle cell anemia using molecular biology techniques. That research was highlighted on the wires—API, UPI, the Wall Street Journal, and the New England Journal of Medicine. It was touted as the first instance of molecular biology being brought to the bedside, as we treated seven clinical center patients successfully. Unfortunately, when our research went to the FDA, it was rejected because they claimed there wasn’t enough information on the long-term effects of the drug we were using.

After that, I moved into scientific sales, working with diagnostic instruments for several Fortune 500 companies. I worked for J&J and Becton Dickinson and was the top sales representative for flow cytometers in the New York, New Jersey, and Long Island areas. I loved the job, the company, the instruments, and my clients. People often asked why I was so successful, and I think it was because I genuinely loved everything about the role.

Unfortunately, in 1994, I experienced several significant family losses. My cousin’s five-year-old son, Andrew, was tragically killed in a car accident in Maryland. At the time, my daughter was six, and Andrew and she used to play together. Six months later, my aunt was tragically murdered when someone broke into her house and stabbed her multiple times. That was covered on the front page of USA Today.

Our family was deeply devastated by these events, and I began searching for ways to cope with the grief. I started attending a local meditation group, which helped me a great deal. Six months into that journey, someone recommended that I read The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield. As I read it, I treated it as a personal workbook, analyzing myself and performing a life review. The book guides readers through insights designed to lead them to enlightenment. Later, I spoke with James Redfield, and he confirmed that was the purpose of the book.

One night, I was reading the book from 9 PM to 4 AM, and when I put it down to stretch, the entire house filled with light. The light surrounded me, filling the dining room, the hallway, and everywhere else. I then heard a voice that said, “You thought you knew so much—molecular biology, biochemistry, immunology, toxicology—but all you know is one grain of sand on this beach.” I saw an infinite beach, and one grain of sand was placed under my nose.

At that moment, I felt deeply humbled. I realized the message was for all of humanity, particularly professionals like doctors and lawyers who often work from an egoic structure, thinking they know so much. As I observed the light, it shimmered with multicolored sparkles, including gold and silver, like fairy dust.

Curious, I looked around and realized the light was emanating from the corner of the room. When I focused on it, I saw what looked like a tunnel extending into space. I wished to explore it, and as soon as I set that intention, I left my body. My consciousness became a small point of awareness on the left side of my body, and I could see my body lying on the couch.

I noticed a misty, spiritual essence emerging from the top of my head. It felt like my body, mind, and spirit were separate yet interconnected. My spirit and consciousness then merged, and I traveled through the tunnel, leaving the planet. I passed through the Earth’s magnetic grid—a cobweb-like structure—and entered the mental realm, where enlightened beings and higher thinkers reside.

In that realm, I saw symbols, including E=MC² written in space, and interacted with the consciousness of Einstein, Tesla, and Mozart. I received downloads of knowledge and exchanged love and wisdom in a way that felt profoundly joyful.

Eventually, I continued my journey, traveling through a wormhole. As I sped through, billions of stars rushed past me, like the warp-speed effect in Star Trek. On the other side, I arrived at a stunning galaxy, which I now recognize as the Andromeda galaxy.

Near me, a vast light appeared—the light of God. It spoke loudly, saying, “Stop.” I immediately halted and gazed out into the vastness. Then, the voice said, “Now I will show you everything from Alpha to Omega, from beginning to end.”

I was shown the history of creation, starting with DNA, which transformed into grass, then trees, fish, and eventually humans. All of history was downloaded into my third eye, like watching a fast-forwarded VCR. At the end, two stars collided and exploded, symbolizing the Big Bang and the ongoing cycle of life.

Donna McGrath - Awakened Magazine

How long do you think this experience lasted on the couch? And then, what did you do afterwards? How did you assimilate this experience?

Donna McGrath: Well, there’s a little bit more to it. After being downloaded with all the information of the planet, the voice asked me if I had any questions. I said, “Yes, I want to know how life was created and what is the cure for all diseases,” because usually, your life mission has something to do with your background.

In near-death experiences and out-of-body experiences, the light asks you what you need to know to fulfill your mission. A single cell appeared before me and divided according to the Fibonacci sequence, forming the flower of life sacred geometry. It continued dividing, and I saw mitosis in 3D. The vision grew closer until it was imprinted into my third eye. I realized, “Oh, life is so simple, and yet they make it so complex back on Earth—those scientists.”

Then, I was back on the couch. I saw a couple more visions, including one of myself meditating in a prison and another of myself in a bamboo pit in Vietnam. Maybe they were from past lives—I’m not really sure. The voice came again and said, “And just remember, you will always be happy, even living in the state of New Jersey.” (I didn’t really like New Jersey because I’m from Ohio.)

The voice added, “Now that you have entered the kingdom of God…” I asked, “How long did that take?” The voice replied, “Between four hours and four seconds, in the twinkling of an eye.” That’s not how I usually speak, but that’s what was said. The experience lasted four hours—I left at 4 AM and returned at 8 AM.

When my daughter woke up, she came downstairs, and I got her ready for school. After she left on the school bus, I spent hours genuflecting to the corner of the room.

One of the reasons I do the work I do now is because I realized the power of that light—it’s a soft, beautiful power, the power of love. That beam of light became central to my life. In my work, I call upon that energy, overlay it, and send it to people as a conduit of the light.

Afterwards, as I mentioned, I genuflected and was enlightened. I didn’t know much about enlightenment before, but the word means “with light.” You’re taken to a place where you can see the truth in almost every situation. I didn’t need to eat or sleep and was completely energized for about four months.

During that time, I could touch a book and make myself one with it, instantly assimilating its contents. I visited every metaphysical bookstore in New Jersey and bought as many books as I could find. I would read around 20 books a day and ended up reading approximately 4,000 books in four months. These books covered world history, world religions, sacred geometry, metaphysics, and spiritual truths. I read the Bible, the Bhagavad Gita, the Vedas, and other sacred texts from around the world.

For those four months, I hardly ate or drank anything. I existed in a state of Christ consciousness and could see my spiritual body about 12 feet above my head. I didn’t speak much during that time. When I did, I often simply said, “Interesting.” It’s a neutral word—neither approving nor disapproving—and it allowed me to truly listen when others spoke.

That’s one of my favorite words, Donna, by the way. I say that all the time. I love that word.

Donna McGrath: Interesting?

Donna McGrath - Awakened Magazine

I say it even with challenges that come my way because it’s just like interesting. You’re just taking it in.

Donna McGrath: Right, you take it in and you don’t judge whether it’s good or bad. At that time, if somebody would have asked me, “Do you want vanilla ice cream or chocolate ice cream?” I would say, “Either one is good,” because you’re walking in total unconditional love. You love everyone and everything. And at that point, actually, when I came back, there was a kind of— I mean, I loved the mailman as much as I loved my husband or my daughter, which was very weird—not literally, but I mean a stranger was… it’s the same type of unconditional love where it’s filled with peace and love and you just love everything.

About four months later, I decided to taste a piece of lettuce. I thought, well, maybe my family thought I was weird if I didn’t eat, but I don’t even think they noticed, to tell you the truth. But anyway, I tasted a piece of lettuce, and I could taste all these pesticides on it. And so I called my meditation teacher and I said, “What is on this lettuce?” She goes, “Oh, it’s chemicals. You have to go down to the health food store and get organic.” And at that time organic wasn’t really that popular.

I went down to the health food store, and there was a sign. Now, I had previously, maybe a couple of months before that, quit the scientific sales because the company I was working for—my boss—wouldn’t let me go to my aunt’s funeral, which was amazing to me. But anyway, I just quit the job, and so I was unemployed, and so they had a sign that they wanted part-time help. And I thought, well, maybe I’ll just help them out for a couple of months and just help them out.

They hired me immediately, and they said, “Well, if you don’t mind selling supplements and sweeping the floor and stocking the shelves. You have a four-page scientific resume over here. If you don’t mind, we’ll hire you.” And I’m like, “OK.” So they hired me, and when I walked in, I heard the voice again. I would hear the voice on very clear audio, which means I can hear clearly from my guides.

When I walked in the health food store, they said, “There is a nutritional supplement for every pharmaceutical drug. There is a natural cure or a natural thing for every medicine.” And I was like, “Interested.” And then they also said, “This is your new home. This is like university. This is where you’re going to learn.” And so I basically assimilated or learned all about all of the vitamin lines and everything at the health food store, and I read the book that’s very good for everyone to have. It’s called Prescription for Nutritional Healing by Phyllis and James Balch, MD. And that book is like a dictionary of all the different diseases, and it gives the suggested supplements for each disease state and the amounts that you need to take to facilitate healing. I also learned all of the herbs and the flower essences and the essential oils and all the different types of supplements.

What really happened was that the first person that walked in, I could see their entire aura. And I remember the lady said, “Oh, you know, I have some eczema here on my hand. Do you have anything for that?” And then I just started hearing this voice, and the voice would say, “Tell her to take two of these, three of these, four of these, and she’ll be fine in two days.”

All I had to do was really just follow the guidance, and at the beginning, I wasn’t like really sure if it was going to work out, but I just had faith, and I just followed the guides. And I would say what I saw. Sometimes I would be clairvoyant. I would see the bottom of what they needed too. So all they would have to do is ask me. And then they received it. So, there’s asking, you shall receive kind of thing.

If they asked me, I could give them the information. I learned that if they didn’t ask me, they wouldn’t listen. Some people would walk in and stare at the vitamin wall, and I’d say, “Do you need some help?” And they would say, “No, no,” and they would continue looking, and I’d give them another 10 or 15 minutes. And then I’d say, “Do you need any help?” And they said no twice. I would not help them because they have to ask for it, and they have to be open to receiving the information.

Fast forward, I worked there for about six months, and I was also still reading pretty voraciously. And I read a book called Saved by the Light by Dannion Brinkley. I’m sure you know Dannion, and he was hit by lightning and had a near-death experience. So, I started studying the near-death experience.

This whole story, by the way, is in my book. It’s called From Corporate Mentality to Spiritual Reality: A True Out-of-Body Journey to Enlightenment. So, out-of-body experiences that are spontaneous, like mine was and very in-depth, are very similar to near-death experiences. Only I didn’t really have to physically die. So that was a good point of the whole thing.

I read Saved by the Light by Dannion Brinkley, and I was led to go and meet him at the New Life Expo in New York. So, I went to the New Life Expo, and I met Dannion, I met Sean David Morton, and that’s where I met James Redfield as well. And I told him I had an experience at the end of the book when I was reading his book, and he goes, “Are you writing a book?” And I said, “Like, no.” He goes, “Well, write that down, and I’ll give you an introduction or whatever. I’ll write an introduction for your book.” So, at any rate, I started talking to Dannion at the show, and Dannion’s a prophet, right? And so he told me he said, “You’re going to be demonstrating at these shows and doing readings, and you’re going to write a book.” And I was like, “No.” I really didn’t know how to write a book. And I was just basically a scientist at that point, and I read scientific papers.

But it turned out that as I was working at the health food store, I started hearing messages from the other side. So, my nephew that died, Andrew, came to me and said, “Tell my mother not to throw away the red racing car blanket.” And then my aunt who died said to give balloons to my uncle for his birthday. Okay, so now I started getting these messages, and I didn’t really know what to do with them. So, I did go down to see my cousin and told her about the red racing car blanket, and when I went into the back room, and there was a red racing car blanket, I almost fainted. So that was pretty cool.

As time went on, I started to get more and more messages from the other side. So, I started to do the expos around the country, the mind, body, spirit expos. I did the New Life Expo, and I do the LA Conscious Life Expo as well, but there was an expo. The Whole Life Expo went around to multiple cities.

I did readings, and when I went in to do the readings, at that time, I was doing readings next to James Van Praagh and all the big mediums at the time. And after he would talk at the expo, James Van Praagh, I would get like 6 on my booth. And so for a weekend, I would do about 150 readings every 20 minutes regarding contact with the deceased. So, I did that for many years. I just did the shows, and then I ended up just doing contact with the deceased readings.

At one point, I moved to Princeton, and once I was in Princeton, my guides said to integrate all of my experiences into one. So it was almost like elevate to the next level and do physical healings instead of just contact with the deceased. So, I do remember one of my first.

Donna McGrath - Awakened Magazine

I love hearing your stories. It’s so good. So you said you remember one of the first people that you helped heal…?

Donna McGrath: Yes, so one of the first people I helped wasn’t really a paid client, but it was a significant moment for me. I was at the hair salon waiting to get my hair done, and the owner came in looking completely exhausted, with big circles under her eyes. She sat down and said, “I don’t know what to do. I prayed to God last night.”

She told me, “My son, Jonathan, is on a nebulizer 24/7 and has asthma, and my husband has cancer. But my son, I’m up with him all the time, and I’m exhausted.” She said, “I prayed to God last night to find an answer.” And I just turned around and said, “I could help him.” She immediately started crying and said, “I know you can.”

Jonathan came over to my house, and I worked with him. I helped wean him off the nebulizer and onto MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) and other natural treatments to strengthen his lungs. I also weaned him off the steroids, which weaken the immune system, and gave him echinacea (a version for kids). I also put MSM through the nebulizer for him and cleared him energetically.

The root of his asthma was emotional—he was afraid his father was going to die from colon cancer. In a past life, they had been together, and Jonathan had a deep fear of losing his father. This emotional trauma was affecting his ability to breathe properly. We cleared all of that.

I worked with him for about an hour in one session, and then we waited for a week. By the following week, Jonathan was doing much better. Within 2 or 3 weeks, he was completely off the nebulizer and all medications, his cheeks were red and healthy, and his asthma was gone. It was a wonderful and rewarding experience.

How did your transition from being a medium to a healer happen? Was it a technique you developed, something that was downloaded to you, or did you feel inspired to become a conduit for healing energy? How did you realize you could participate in the healing process?

Donna McGrath: It did happen organically, but at that time, I studied and became a Reiki master. Enlightenment really is a form of Reiki mastership. Dr. Usui went to the top of a mountain, became enlightened, and then shared the Reiki symbols with his students. So, I became a Reiki master and learned how to do long-distance healing with my hands.

I’m also a hypnotherapist. I went to monthly meetings for hypnotherapy and learned timeline regression analysis. I’m an NLP master and I studied IET (Integrated Energy Therapy) with Stephen Thayer, along with about 10 or 15 other modalities, including SRT (Spiritual Response Therapy). Eventually, I combined all these modalities into one healing practice.

In order for healing to truly take place, it must address the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels. Healing must be on all levels—not just one, not just the physical, not just the physical and emotional. Physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual—all levels need to be addressed.

Now, healing can happen through supplements, if the right supplements are taken. But in general, people don’t take the right supplements. They try this and try that, but never seem to get the right combination.

When people call me, they often say, “I’ve been to 15 doctors, 7 alternative practitioners, tried acupuncture, but I still feel terrible. I have no energy, I still have this chronic condition, like long COVID.” What I do first is scan them, and it’s not an airy-fairy thing. It’s very analytical. I assess for viruses, bacteria, yeast, fungal, and parasitic infections, and I also assess the level of their immune system on a scale from 0 to 2000.

And you’re doing this intuitively. Is that right?

Donna McGrath: Using muscle kinesiology and intuitively.

What are the most common things that people come to you for?

Donna McGrath: Well, nowadays it’s long COVID, a lot of long COVID, but there’s strokes, there’s headaches. There’s chronic headaches, migraine headaches. There’s asthma. There’s a lot of lung diseases. Okay, I’m very good with lung diseases, headaches, and then in short term things. I can help somebody get through a cold or a COVID thing in about two or three weeks I can put them on the right path.

Let me do you. I’ll just do a little sample on you.

Yeah, let’s do it.

DonnaMcGrath: All right. So, David, on a scale from 0 to 100, how much viral load is in your body? So I have 0, bacterial 0.

Now hold on. I want to interrupt you, because what are you doing so that people can see if they’re watching on YouTube?

Donna McGrath: Okay, I’m going to do it right here. So, when you hold your fingers together like this, okay, and then I’m trying to pull them apart, okay. So my name is Donna. When it creates a circuit like that, it’s a positive circuit and that means a yes, 100%. I’m very, very good at muscle kinesiology, so cause I’ve done this 60,000 times. So, in other words, my name is Donna and I get a nice circle right, and then if I say my name is Fred, I get a… I can’t…

Donna McGrath - Awakened Magazine

You can feel the release.

Donna McGrath: It’s almost like a lie detector.

I just want people to see what you’re doing so that people understand.

Donna McGrath: Okay, so for David, here’s the breakdown: Viral load: 0 (on a scale from 0 to 100), Bacterial: 0, Yeast: 1 or 2 (minimal, not a concern), Fungal: 0, Parasitic: 0.

You’re in good shape! Your immune system is a bit low though, registering at around 102. To boost your immune system, I would recommend certain supplements to make you feel stronger. That’s all for you right now.

If you ever get a viral infection, I suggest supplements like Lysine, Sambucol, or Monolaurin, which can help eliminate viruses. For bacterial infections, I recommend colloidal silver. I also have my own quantum colloidal silver, which is optimized and energized. It’s a strong, effective version. For yeast, I suggest grapefruit seed extract, and for fungal infections, OregaMax, which contains oregano oil, garlic, and onions. It’s great for tackling fungal issues.

As for parasitic infections, there are several options. Many people took ivermectin during the pandemic, though it doesn’t specifically target COVID-19. It’s more effective for mites. I’m very knowledgeable in parasitology, having taken seven courses in it during medical training. Ivermectin is excellent for killing mites. However, the bigger concern today is the presence of nanobots in the body, which can create a network of mites by attaching to dust mites. These nanobots are designed to form a web inside the body.

While ivermectin can break the network of these mites, there might be other pathogens underneath, like viruses, bacteria, or other parasites. The most common parasite these days is hookworms, along with roundworms.

To treat hookworms, I recommend fenbendazole, which is a drug that effectively targets and kills hookworms and roundworms. Interestingly, if you dissect a cancer tumor, you’ll often find parasites in the center, surrounded by fungus. The parasites thrive on the fungus, which feeds off the sugar in the body. So, for anyone dealing with cancer, it’s important to avoid sugar to prevent feeding the system that allows these parasites and fungus to grow.

Donna McGrath - Awakened Magazine

When you’re muscle testing to identify factors in someone, at what point in the session do you incorporate energy healing, and how does that process unfold?

Donna McGrath: I’ve done several other podcasts, including with Kerry Cassidy, and the people who listen to me from that audience are very knowledgeable about supplements and such. I typically do a 15-minute consultation where the person presents what they have, and then I do the little scan. After that, I usually recommend two or three sessions—typically three or four.

I specialize in helping people through different conditions. The first session is quick; I tell them everything they need to get. Once they order it, I don’t schedule the second real session until the following week, so they have time to gather the items. During this time, I channel exactly how much they need for their body. For example, if they have 40% viral presence, I might say they need 4,000 milligrams of lysine for four days to kill the virus. By the time we have the first session, they’ve already addressed the virus or bacteria and made progress.

Then, I do another evaluation and say, “Look, you’ve progressed,” and they often say, “Yeah, I do feel a bit better.” After that, we do the real session, which focuses on physical healing.

Then we address the emotional side. I had a client with chronic constrictive bronchitis, where her throat was constricted, but the rest of her lungs were fine. In a session, I call it spiritual psychology. We start with the intention to heal the problem. I very specifically state the intention to clear the chronic constrictive bronchitis.

I tap into their Akashic records and look for the first time they had an asthma attack or were diagnosed with the disease. I had a 20-year-old client getting ready to marry, and her future mother-in-law gave her a gift certificate for a session. She told me the issue started when she was 8 years old. I asked what happened.

As I listened, I tapped into the emotions underlying the condition, much like psychology, but I transform the energy after hearing them. She explained that at 8, her family lived in a big house with her uncle’s family. One day, her aunt came in and announced that Uncle Bob had died in a fatal car accident. Everyone in the room gasped, and that trauma got stuck in her trachea. It stayed with her all the way until she was 20, and she was even on the list for a lung transplant.

I said, “Let me clear that.” In the session, I have the client visualize putting the trauma into my “double dumpster” (which everyone working with me knows about). Then, I call down the energy of various flower essences or quantum energies, about 5,000 of them, to clear the trauma.

For her, I used the energy of Star Bethlehem to clear all present and past-life traumas related to hearing tragic news suddenly, such as gasping and having something stuck in the lungs. I clear it across all timelines: this lifetime, past lives, parallel dimensions, and future realities, down to the DNA level and subatomic level. Then, I release it and breathe in the breath of life—blessing her with healing.

Afterwards, she said, “When would you like to have your next session?” She mentioned she had a doctor’s appointment that week and a visit with a lung transplant specialist in two weeks. I told her to call me after that.

Two weeks later, she called and said, “I don’t need a session.” I asked why, and she said, “I went to my regular doctor. He said I’m completely cleared of all pulmonary disease. The lung transplant doctor took me off the transplant list.” She thought it was because she ate fruit and walked around the block, but that’s an example of the work I do.

For a more complex case, like asthma, I would follow the same process: the first session, clearing traumas, and pinpointing the root cause of the disease. I’m very good at that—guided to identify and target the cause. I might ask, “What happened at the age of 16?” Many people don’t remember, but trauma can be buried in the subconscious, and by the time they’re in their 40s or 50s, they realize, “Oh, I had a bad childhood” or “This happened.”

I also clear genetic patterns, particularly for addictions. Addictions are often inherited from both the mother’s and father’s sides of the family. I check the client’s genetic patterns to identify these propensities. For example, with you, David, I would check and find that you’ve likely done a lot of clearing, but from your father’s side, you still have 10-20% of addictive tendencies, and from your mother’s side, it’s 10-50%.

I would clear the mother’s side and overlay you with agrimony, a flower essence that clears patterns of addiction. I would also use chestnut bud, which helps with self-sabotage tendencies. This way, you can break free from those cycles more easily.

Once this energy is cleared, people find it much easier to overcome addictions.

Donna McGrath - Awakened Magazine

How important is a person’s belief or faith in the healing process?

Donna McGrath: It means a lot. I do this 15-minute viral and bacteria scan, and based on that, I determine whether I’m going to take someone as a client. If they’re hesitant, saying things like, “I don’t know, it costs too much,” or “blah, blah, blah,” it usually means they’re not really open to healing themselves. And I’m not here to convince anyone that what I do is significant for them—that’s not my job.

I have plenty of people who are eager for healing, so I want to work with those who are open, those who truly want it, and even those who are begging for me to work with them. I tend not to work with non-believers.

Now, it’s fine to be a skeptic, but skepticism is rooted in fear. And if someone has a lot of fear, what I’m doing is replacing that fear with love. That’s all I’m doing. To me, it’s not airy-fairy. I’ve been doing this for so long that it’s very simple. It’s about understanding love and fear. There are only two things: love and fear. But when love comes down to the planet, it separates into both love and fear.

What is love and what is fear? Love is hope in all situations, faith in all situations, and positivity in all situations. There’s no room for anger, doubt, or indecision. Anger is a big one, and there are various kinds of anger, as well as guilt.

I’m going to be teaching some classes online. The first class I’ll teach is emotional healing, where I explain what emotions are—they are energy in motion. I’ll go over the major emotions we deal with on the planet, such as anger, loneliness, fear of known things, fear of the unknown, and shock and trauma. These are all different aspects of flower essences.

We want to learn what’s good and what’s bad and aim to walk in the good side at all times. So, what I teach in my class is how to understand what’s negative and what’s positive, and how to flip everything from negative to positive.

How has the spirituality, healing, and channeling industry changed over the years from your perspective, given your experience with expos and helping so many people?

Donna McGrath: Oh, well, it was really great when I first started out, from 1994 to 2000, and even all the way to the pandemic. The expos back then would have about 20,000 people coming through, and I was so busy. People would come in person for these sessions.

But since the pandemic, a lot of things have switched over to Zoom calls and virtual meetings. People don’t want to come out in person anymore, so now I do all of my sessions over the phone. I don’t even do a Zoom call like this.

I don’t want to get all dressed up just for a session because, basically, I lay down and go into a trance. I really feel into what their problem is, and I don’t need to be all dressed up or show my face to do that. I can actually get into a deeper trance by just doing my sessions over the phone. No one sees me waving my hands all over the place or sending energy.

Does your Christian background still inform your work, or do you feel it was more part of your upbringing?

Donna McGrath: Yes, it is. After my light experience, I went to church, and I could actually see the energy going into the chalice during the divine liturgy. I could see the structure of the liturgy, which builds up to the hymn of the angels and then to the Our Father. It follows a sequential path that culminates in the Our Father.

Christ consciousness is essentially… Jesus was trying to show us how to perform miracles and heal. He would say, “I do all these things, and you can do more. You can do it too, and you can do more.” We are all supposed to emanate Jesus, not deify Him. I understand this, but at its core, it’s about love. Everyone needs to understand what love truly is, and if you substitute the word “Jesus” with “love,” you’ll grasp it. But to truly understand it, one must be schooled in what love is and learn to emanate it.

So yes, I still believe in Jesus. The energy of Christ consciousness still flows through me, and I describe it like this: as you evolve, you enter into Christ consciousness. This means you learn what love is and start walking in unconditional love. As you elevate higher and higher, you move toward God, toward the light, toward the source. Jesus was God’s son in human form, and we all are in human form.

I believe that no matter what religion you follow, it’s like the sun is God, and each little ray coming from it represents the different religions and people. You are an aspect of the light, and your job is to emanate unconditional love in everything you do—through every thought, word, and deed in your daily life.

Where can people connect with you in order to sign up for a session with you, work with you, and learn from you?

Donna McGrath: You can visit donnamcgrath.com, and if you’d like to request a session with me, please email me at miraclesbydonna@gmail.com. Be sure to put “session request” in the subject line.

In your email, include a brief paragraph about what you’re working on. It doesn’t need to be your whole life story—just a summary of what you’d like to focus on. I receive all kinds of requests from people around the world, so a little context will help. My team will then send out a schedule for you to sign up for a 15-minute consultation.

Donna, it’s so great to meet you. Thank you for how you’re making a difference in our world.

Donna McGrath: Thank you, it was a pleasure. I have a tiny little story there to tell you about your mission. What you can do to try to figure out a lot of people come to me and say what is their mission, what is their life purpose, right?

When I was 5 years old, I was walking to kindergarten. I would meet my best girlfriend at the tunnel there and then we would walk to kindergarten together. So one day my friend said to me, “Do you know Kathy?” I don’t know what her last name was, but Kathy’s mother has cancer.

I said, “What is cancer?” And she said, “It’s some disease that you get and you die from.” And I said, “Oh, that. I said I’m going to be able to heal, that it’s no problem.” And then we just walked to kindergarten.

So if you can meditate. I would say the audience should go back and think of what they thought they wanted to be when they grew up. Whenever you’re five years old and kind of reminisce and think about that or what major tragedy that happened in your life that you don’t want to happen to other people. If you have a certain disease and you’ve overcome it or something like that, advocate for helping other people get over that disease or whatever it is.

Different people have different strengths and different talents and I would encourage everybody to go towards their strengths and utilize their talents.

In order for healing to truly take place, it must address the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels. Healing must be on all levels — not just the physical and emotional.
