What if the patterns and “coincidences” in your life aren’t random—but quiet forms of guidance you’ve been sensing all along?

For Kate Hobbs, intuition was never something to discover later—it was always part of her experience. Adopted into a loving but complex family, she learned early to trust what she could feel beneath words and behavior. Over time, that sensitivity became a refined ability to read energy, recognize patterns, and support meaningful shifts in people and spaces. Her path moved through acting and film before naturally expanding into work with individuals, leaders, and organizations seeking clarity and alignment.

In this conversation, Kate shares how energy shows up in everyday life, why intuition doesn’t require conscious belief to be effective, and how small shifts in awareness can create lasting change. With grounded insight and real-life experiences, this dialogue offers an accessible entry point into energy work—and a reminder that the time to listen is always now. I would love to hear about your growing-up years—specifically, any experiences around spirituality, consciousness, and mindfulness—and how that was introduced into your life or unfolded over time. Would you mind taking us back to that time?

Kate Hobbs: Absolutely. I’m adopted, and I’ve known that my whole life. I was adopted into a very loving family—but not without dysfunction, because I don’t think anyone grows up without some form of that.

It was always obvious that I had different energy—my cosmic makeup, I guess. My sister was very book-smart, and for me, reading and structured tasks were much harder. My mind was always in a million other places, which is something I really resonate with when people say it’s hard for them to read because their thoughts are constantly pinging around. I’ve always had a lot of energy.

We weren’t really a religious family. It was more like, what you feel is what you do. If you wanted to explore a different religion, you could. There wasn’t a strict belief system—it was very open. From the beginning, I just went off of what I could feel.

I was always very sensitive. I could feel things deeply, and I think that’s where the justice piece comes in for me. I could feel when something wasn’t true, even at a very young age. I would listen to people and think, That doesn’t match your actions.

Sometimes that meant I spoke up and got in trouble. Other times, I learned to withhold what I knew because speaking up would also get me in trouble.

At what point did you have some inkling of life beyond what you could taste, touch, see, and feel? When did those things start to come to you?

Kate Hobbs: I don’t know if there was a single moment I could point to. There was always this active energy around me—almost like messages dropping in.

I’ve talked about this before, but when I was eight years old, I knew someone was pregnant even though I wasn’t supposed to know. It came in like a thought in my own head, as if it were my own. I started picking up on things like that very early.

Working consciously with guides, spirit guides, and angels came much later. But the ability was always there—I just didn’t understand it. I honestly thought everyone was seeing and experiencing what I was seeing, which was very confusing as a child.

Did you talk to your family about that at the time, or did you mostly keep it to yourself?

Kate Hobbs: I think it showed up more as anger as I got a little older. It was this feeling of, How are you not seeing what I’m seeing? How do you not know this person is lying? That frustration really built, and it took me a long time to understand why.

I thought everyone felt things the way I did. I knew I had empathy, but I didn’t realize there was a difference between understanding someone emotionally and actually physically feeling what was happening around you. I was absorbing everything, and I just assumed everyone else was too. As a kid, why wouldn’t you assume that?

I would say the guide aspect—actual, direct communication with the other side—came much later. Even though, looking back now, the messages were always coming in.

When did you start to have language or a framework to understand and express what was happening to you?

Kate Hobbs: That didn’t really start until my late thirties, at least in terms of conscious communication. But the messages were always there. It wasn’t like sending something out and getting something back—that was happening the whole time.

What I didn’t understand back then was my own energy and how it could create this domino effect, where things wouldn’t go the way I planned. Over time, I started to understand pattern recognition. That’s been present in my entire life.

I’ve always been able to pick up on patterns. I don’t have a photographic memory, but I have a very strong one. My friends joke that they don’t want to be around me when they’re drinking because I remember everything. Memories take me physically back to where they happened. If you asked me where I ate dinner when I was sixteen, I’d be right back in the restaurant, in that space, remembering what I was doing.

That’s always felt more like a messaging system than a clear, external dialogue—like consciously saying, I’m talking to Archangel Michael. I do work with Archangel Michael a lot now, but that level of clarity didn’t come until much later in my life.

Kate Hobbs - Awakened Magazine

What were some of the resources you started to explore to cultivate these intuitive gifts? Were there certain people, courses, or programs you were drawn to?

Kate Hobbs: For me, I’ve always been an extremist. I love extreme outdoor events, extreme mindset training, and I’ve always been fascinated by psychics and mediums.

I went through a phase where every psychic or intuitive I visited kept telling me I was psychic. And I remember thinking, They must tell everyone this. I didn’t really believe it. I would connect with them, but there was still a lot of disbelief. For a long time, I even joked about it with my friends—Oh, I’m psychic, that’s how I have these answers. People would ask me questions, and I’d just know the answer, so I’d laugh it off.

But looking back, I wonder—was that a manifestation thing, or was I always psychic? The truth is, I was always psychic. Very psychic. Everyone is intuitive to some degree, of course, but what really drew me in was having all of these people consistently telling me the same thing.

I did take different workshops, but honestly, it was more about my life experience. Tracking my own patterns. Developing self-mastery—understanding what triggered me, how the messaging system worked. I’m like a walking radar.

That ability really leveled up during acting school. I actually came out of acting school thinking, I missed my calling—I should have been an FBI profiler. My ability to pick up on subtle behavior and emotional cues became exponential.

It wasn’t something I fully recognized until someone in school said to me, How are you coming up with these improvs? How are you creating these scenarios? And I remember thinking, We’re in New York. I walk home, and everything flies at me. What are you talking about? They looked at me like I was crazy.

I’d be on the subway or walking down the street, and all this information would just come in. I’m a very creative person—obviously, I was in acting school—so I assumed my mind was just making things up. What I didn’t realize at the time was that I was actually downloading everyone’s information.

Wow. You mentioned acting school. I’m curious about your path—your career path. Before diving into this work, what did that look like after high school? Where did you go from there?

Kate Hobbs: After high school, I actually taught skiing for a little while, mostly to young kids. Then I moved back and started acting, went to acting school, and eventually began working in film production while continuing my acting training.

For a time, I was doing both—working behind the scenes and in front of the camera. Eventually, I decided to lean more fully into pursuing acting. I still love acting deeply. I love the ability to step into someone else’s skin. That’s actually very similar to how I work with people now—when I’m with someone, I can feel what’s happening physically and emotionally at the same time.

That period naturally transitioned me into this work because it became more about knowing. From there, it evolved into relationship coaching, and then it morphed into the healing space—because coaching, in itself, is also a form of healing.

I talk to a lot of energy healers, and everyone brings something unique. What would you say is the uniqueness you bring to this work?

Kate Hobbs: I fully believe that everyone is unique—that’s really important to me. For myself, I would say I’m a very rapid processor. There’s an energetic quality to the way I approach things that naturally causes things to unfold.

It’s almost like I’m a walking vortex. I really explored this more deeply through conversations with some high-level military people I know. One of them said to me, There’s something you do just by your presence. It either causes a person’s nervous system to drop, or it creates an unveiling—something subtle that gives me access to information. It happens very quickly and very quietly.

For me, it’s this combination of rapid information processing and nervous system calming happening at the same time. There’s also a nuance to it—when I’m around someone who’s being deceptive or doing something nefarious, the energy shows up differently. My presence causes movement. That can look like information being revealed, or, if someone is trying to hide something, it can become combative.

That’s one of my unique abilities—being able to move things very quickly.

When you talk about energy, I know our audience is very familiar with concepts like energy and energy blocks. But if you met someone—say, on a walk on the beach here in Southern California—and they asked, “What do you do?” You say you’re an energy healer. What does that actually mean? What is energy? Help us understand that.

Kate Hobbs: The fastest way I explain it is this—everything is energy. Everything is in motion. Most people can grasp that part pretty easily.

Where it becomes more tangible is when I use an example like an argument. Let’s say you’re holding something back—you don’t want to say what you’re really thinking because you don’t want to make things worse. You’re clenching it in. If we use the throat chakra as an example, that tension—I’m not going to say this—creates a blockage. There’s no flow anymore.

That blockage can be temporary or built over a lifetime. If you’re someone who’s always withholding your truth, those little moments stack on top of each other and grow.

I often explain it like a clogged drain. If you remove the clog fairly quickly, there’s no damage. But if you leave it there, it can rust over time and create much bigger problems. That’s how energy blocks can eventually manifest as real illness or disease. And this doesn’t just happen in the throat—it can happen anywhere in the body.

It’s the same reason people sometimes get a massage and suddenly feel emotional. Someone presses on a spot, and it takes them back to a moment in time—maybe a car accident, maybe an injury. They don’t even know why they’re upset, but the body remembers. That’s trapped energy being released.

Kate Hobbs - Awakened Magazine

I love that visual—the clogged drain. We all have those clogs. If you clear them quickly, you’re fine. But if they’re left there, they start to pile up.

Kate Hobbs: Exactly. It’s the stagnation.

How does this actually play out in day-to-day life? Let’s say I’m holding back from speaking my truth. That could be in a romantic relationship, a parent–child dynamic, with a boss at work, or even with a roommate. There are so many scenarios. If I’m consistently doing that, how does it extend beyond that specific relationship? How does it start to negatively impact my life over time?

Kate Hobbs: In that space, it can show up physically—thyroid issues, for example. I’m connected to an exceptional number of healers, and the percentage who have thyroid issues is surprisingly high.

A lot of that comes from not being able to speak their truth over time, especially when they know things that could cause conflict. Many of the people I’m referring to are natural givers. Often, they’re trying not to hurt someone, or they didn’t have access to their voice at the time and are only now learning how to use it.

When I help someone get to the place where they can say no or speak their truth, it often starts internally. If you and I are having a conversation—let’s say you’re my boss—and something lands badly, I’ll leave that space and have a conversation with myself first. I’ll take a moment to move the energy.

This applies to any kind of relationship. I pause and go back into what I’m actually feeling, without spiritually bypassing it. Spiritual bypassing is completely against how I work, because the emotion is there for a reason. The question becomes: What is this? Is it from the past? Is it about this moment? Whatever it is, the goal is to move the energy through so it doesn’t get stuck.

Then, if needed, I can come back and revisit the conversation and say, I didn’t realize what was happening for me in that moment, or This is how I felt. That movement is what prevents the energy from becoming trapped.

I firmly believe that when you’re withholding in any part of your body, it shows up elsewhere—stomach issues, feeling ungrounded, physical discomfort. Over time, it manifests as real physical problems. That’s simply how it works.

What are the primary challenges people tend to come to you with? Do you notice a pattern, a kind of sweet spot, or is it truly across the board?

Kate Hobbs: It is across the board, but I would say most people who come to me already have some awareness of how energetically gifted they are—even if they don’t fully understand it yet.

There’s a pattern I notice. Whether I’m in a grocery store, an airport, or working with someone privately, the people who find me tend to be more gifted than they realize. When someone is energetically gifted, and they’re going through a difficult moment in life, their inner dialogue carries a lot of weight. If that dialogue becomes this is terrible, this is awful, which is completely understandable in hard circumstances, it can create a flood of energy moving in the wrong direction.

The challenge is learning how to shift that without lying to yourself. You don’t want to bypass what you’re feeling. Instead, it’s about creating space to say, This doesn’t feel good. This feels awful. That word “feels” is important. When you say, It is awful, it becomes solidified—you’re locking yourself into that state. And the truth is, you’re far more powerful than you realize.

A lot of the people who come to me are in that space. My energy tends to pull in that kind of person. Many are dealing with manifestation issues, and often it’s progressed to the point where something physical is happening—an illness, chronic pain, or being told that nothing can help them anymore.

That’s usually why they find me. And I always say this—if someone ever tells you, There’s no hope for you, walk out the door immediately. I don’t care who it is or what their credentials are. If someone says, You’re not getting better, this is 100% it, find someone else.

That’s one of my strongest messages. There is always another way. It may not look the same for everyone, but there is always another way to solve what’s happening. Not everyone’s path to healing is identical.

So when someone comes to you, I’m hearing a couple of things. One, they often have an energetic sensitivity or ability they’re not fully aware of. And two, things have sometimes escalated to the point where it’s showing up physically. When they work with you, is that mostly via Zoom?

Kate Hobbs: Yes.

What does a session actually look like? We’ve talked a lot about energy and what’s happening, but I’m curious—what does she do? Are we just talking, or is there some kind of action happening? What’s going on in the session?

Kate Hobbs: It’s a combination. I do see people in person as well, but that’s rarer. If I’m working with you over Zoom, it mirrors the same way. I might suddenly feel something in my shoulder and ask, Are you having shoulder pain? Because it’s all energy—I can feel it whether I’m physically with you or working remotely.

Not everyone comes to me with a physical ailment. Sometimes it’s emotional turmoil, the sense that everything is going wrong, or constant bad luck. Sometimes there’s an external energetic influence—what some would call dark energy or an entity—creating disruption.

For example, if someone starts noticing patterns like almost getting into a car accident, then another near accident the next day, then almost getting hit again—that’s not a coincidence. Those are messages. In that case, the specific message would be slow down. I’ve lived that experience myself. If you’re not listening, the signals get louder and louder until something finally stops you in your tracks.

So to answer your question, people come in for physical things, emotional things—it’s all connected. What’s happening externally and internally is tied together.

Most people book a 90-minute session to start. I’ve found that people get excited and want to share everything, and there’s an activation energy that makes them naturally start talking. From a practical standpoint, the 90 minutes give us enough space.

I had a client recently who wanted to talk the entire time—about their home, their child, everything—because it’s all part of their energetic field.

Kate Hobbs - Awakened Magazine

And meanwhile, I imagine you’re seeing the patterns as they’re talking.

Kate Hobbs: Exactly. When someone comes in and says, This is the problem with this person, and they explain it logically—and they’re very smart, they understand what’s happening—they could talk about it all day. But I often hear something else.

I work with a lot of healers, too. Sometimes they’ll say, This is what’s happening, this is what’s happening. And I’ll say, You know that’s not actually what’s going on. And they’ll pause and say, Yeah… you’re right.

I’m not just interpreting words—I’m feeling the energy behind them. Misalignment pings me immediately. That’s what I pick up on.

In a 90-minute session, we always start with an introduction—what’s happening, what they’re feeling. I allow myself to ask questions that might not make sense logically, because they’re coming through channeling. I just trust that.

Then we leave space for energy healing if the person wants that. I guide them into a meditative state, incorporate sound, and then we leave time at the end. Sometimes they receive homework, sometimes a journaling practice. Afterward, I send them the key takeaways—what I saw in their energy field during the session.

When you’re doing the energy healing, is there a specific modality or training you’re working from, or is it more intuitive and channeled?

Kate Hobbs: It’s a combination. I take my training seriously, but I also always listen beyond it. I’m certified in sacred geometry, and during that training, I actually channeled a specific way of holding space for group healing. That’s something I still use today.

What’s interesting is that later, when I was in Egypt, I was told that this is how the ancient Egyptians worked—with that same geometry. I had never been taught that. It just came through. I had even made up a name for it at the time.

So yes, it’s a blend. If you’re a therapist or healer and you only follow a script, you’re not leaving room for divine guidance. I know myself well enough to say, This is the general outline for working with David, but I always leave space for what comes in.

I might think, I’m going to work with purple energy today, and then something comes through clearly saying, No, he needs green. So I follow that. There’s no rigid preparation. It’s a loose structure that unfolds.

Sometimes images come in—like suddenly there’s a horse in the space. And people will say, Oh my gosh, I saw that too. Often, they’re seeing what I’m seeing in the moment.

I’m really curious about your personality, your branding, and the way you present yourself to the world. From your space, to your glasses, your clothing, your hair—everything feels very intentional. You’re very professional, aesthetics clearly matter to you, but you’re also visually relatable to someone who knows nothing about energy. If I didn’t know your work, I might think, Oh, she’s a life or performance coach. And then you’re like, Well, you might have an entity attached to you. That contrast is striking. So I’m curious—how did you craft this approach? Was it very intentional, very deliberate, to reach a certain audience? Or is it simply, This is me?

Kate Hobbs: This is a great question, and I get it a lot—because I’ve never fit into a box. I’m actually going to be doing a whole series of posts about this.

I like extremes. I’m an extreme outdoor endurance camper—NOLS, Outward Bound—and I’m also someone who can go to a black-tie event when the situation calls for it. I genuinely like both ends of the spectrum. I’m just as excited about a pair of fancy shoes as I am about my Smartwool vest. That’s always been who I am. And yes, it can confuse people—How can you be all of that? But it’s just my personality. It’s been that way since I was six, probably even earlier.

And just to clarify, this is my office, not my bedroom. People come here for healing. This is a daybed with weighted blankets—my favorite blanket, which everyone knows is the Lola Weighted Blanket. They don’t pay me to say that.

They should.

Kate Hobbs: They really should. I actually picked that blanket last year for my Christmas recommendations, and now Oprah has it on her list. But this space is designed so people can lie down, feel safe, and feel the energy. I keep crystals here; there’s good energy, and I’m constantly clearing the space energetically.

So a big part of the answer is simply that I don’t fit into a box—and I never will. That’s what gives me such a wide perspective. I put myself through civilian training environments–military mixed, alongside energy healing workshops, sometimes back-to-back on weekends. Both excite me equally.

That range is what allows me to help so many different kinds of people. For me, if I want to help shift the frequency of the planet for the better, the more people I can serve, the better. It creates a domino effect.

That’s why moving into the corporate space felt natural. On one level, you’re reaching a lot of people at once. And on another level, whatever someone is dealing with at work inevitably spills into their personal life. There’s always bleed-through.

People would come to me for one issue, and then I’d ask, What’s happening at work? And suddenly everything connected. It crossed over organically.

And yes—I’m a Taurus. I like nice things. That doesn’t mean expensive things. It just means things I’m drawn to. Whether it’s from Target or somewhere else, if it excites me, it excites me. That’s just who I am.

Kate Hobbs - Awakened Magazine

A lot of people in the spiritual and personal development space want to enter the corporate world—sound healers, breathwork facilitators, meditation guides. How does that work for you? How do you communicate these ideas—energy, energy blocks, healing—in a corporate setting?

Kate Hobbs: It really depends on the client and how open they are. Sometimes I’m hired simply to assess a potential new hire—whether their energy is a match for the role or the team.

And I always make this distinction, because it’s the same as dating: it doesn’t mean someone is good or bad. It just means they may not be a frequency match for that environment.

If a company says, We value integrity, we want this type of energy, I’ll look at whether the person aligns with that. Or if they say, We just need someone behind the scenes who’s highly organized, that’s a different energetic requirement. So I can say, This person would be great for that, or This person isn’t going to work for David.

People understand that very quickly because it ties directly into money. Everyone knows how expensive it is to hire and train the wrong person.

That’s become a significant part of my work.

I feel like that could be called the FBI package—Frequency Background Investigator.

Kate Hobbs: Exactly. It’s essentially an energetic assessment. There’s a deeper version and a lighter version of that work. I usually do it with people I already know, and I work under NDA, so I’m careful how I talk about it.

In the broader corporate space, I often start with something very practical. I’ll talk about how your day unfolds—being stuck on the 405, terrible traffic, something goes wrong, you’re racing into a meeting completely dysregulated. Everyone knows that feeling.

What I teach is how to pause. To say, Okay, whatever just happened might have saved my life for reasons I don’t even understand. Clear that energy—not by dissociating from it, but by acknowledging it—and then consciously step into the meeting without carrying that chaos with you.

That’s where I start. And what I’ve found is that once I do that, people quietly come up to me and say, I have crystals in my pocket. They’re closet crystal lovers.

Sometimes I’ll give a talk at a corporate event, then offer a short healing session. Some people are skeptical, some are curious—but when they feel it, that’s when it clicks. They’ll feel heat and tingling, and see images. And suddenly it’s not theoretical anymore—it’s experiential.

And if you talk to corporate leaders about performance, happiness, and productivity, it’s obvious. When people feel better, they perform better. If you don’t like your boss and you constantly feel tension or judgment, you’re not going to do your best work. That’s just human nature.

And speaking of that, you also work with C-level executives and entrepreneurs. How is your approach different when you’re working with them?

Kate Hobbs: At its core, it’s still energy work, so the technique itself is the same on the backend. What changes is the energetic demand on someone who is constantly engaging with large numbers of people.

I was working with a high-level speaker—being mindful of NDAs here—and they’re someone with a very giving energy. When you’re speaking on stage, people naturally cord to you. They’re listening deeply, hanging on your words, connecting energetically. And while that’s not nefarious—no one is trying to take anything—it can have an impact.

In this case, it was showing up as migraines. Once we recognized what was happening energetically, we were able to move that energy out. There was also a physical touch component, and once you understand what’s happening, you can actually talk the body down. That’s a common pattern with public speakers. People often wonder why they’re so drained after talks, and this is one of the reasons.

Unless someone is fully shielded—and shielding is nuanced, because you don’t want to block out the positive connection as well—you’re going to feel that exchange. That’s why I’m currently setting up a workshop around shielding and boundaries. The two have to work together. You don’t want to be so shielded that you feel nothing. You’re here to feel.

There are different energetic setups for different activities. In the corporate space, or if you’re a public speaker at a conference, there are ways to run your energy that are far more advantageous. I won’t give all the secrets away—but yes, there’s a strategy.

And you call that approach The Energetic Advantage™, correct?

Kate Hobbs: Yes—using your own energy and power to your advantage.

A big part of this is that we’re actually speaking the same language, just using different words. In corporate environments, I use language that resonates there, but people are still responding to energy.

Everyone knows what a gut instinct feels like. You walk into a house—it might be beautiful, perfectly designed—and something feels off. That’s energy. That environmental piece matters.

That’s also why my work naturally expanded into three areas: private clients, environmental work, and corporate work. They all intersect. Someone might be struggling at work not because of the job itself, but because the space they’re working in carries a misaligned energy.

You don’t have to believe in entities or energy healing to experience this. You’re still feeling it—you might just describe it as tension in your body or discomfort in your gut.

I was once called to assess a property where security staff kept quitting after hearing footsteps at night. I was able to do that assessment remotely, that was a corporate situation.

Kate Hobbs - Awakened Magazine

And you do environmental work not only in corporate spaces, but in people’s private homes as well?

Kate Hobbs: Yes.

What does that look like in someone’s home?

Kate Hobbs: It depends on what’s happening. Sometimes it’s a straightforward clearing. Other times it’s more complex. I’m very selective, especially with real estate situations, because if someone comes in with the energy of I have to sell this house, that pressure can interfere with the work.

Often, though, people reach out because they’re hearing knocking, things are falling off shelves, or something feels off. I go in and feel what’s happening energetically in the space. If I can bring my dog with me, I will—he’s very energy-aware.

How does your dog respond in those situations?

Kate Hobbs: He’ll stop dead in his tracks and back away. I’m very careful not to overwhelm him, but he’s accustomed to energy work because of how I live and work. He often picks up on things as well, which gives me additional confirmation. Afterward, I clear him, and he clears himself.

The environment you live and work in is incredibly important. Creating a supportive, energetic space matters. Sometimes someone will say, I just moved into this amazing new office, but suddenly the team’s performance has dropped. And the question becomes—Is it the space? Did something happen there? That kind of misalignment pings immediately for me energetically.

How do I navigate this on a day-to-day basis? I can come to you for support, but are there things I can do on my own to avoid the kinds of blockages you’ve been talking about?

Kate Hobbs: Absolutely—and that’s really the goal. I want people to be self-sufficient, maybe just needing an extra boost once in a while. I do the same thing myself with certain people I go to.

Intention and belief are everything. If you’re halfway in—I kind of believe this energy stuff, but I kind of don’t—you’re scattered energetically. And that’s often where things get tested more. It’s almost like you’re setting yourself up to prove it doesn’t work.

A really common example is dating. Someone says, I’ve given up on dating, but they’re on every dating app, going on dates while already thinking, I know this won’t work. It becomes a defense mechanism—preparing for failure so it hurts less. Instead of allowing themselves to say, I’m going to show up, have a good time, and if it doesn’t work, I’ll deal with it afterward.

Your internal dialogue—how you speak to yourself and the intention behind it—is something everyone can work with on their own.

If I’m getting in the car and I’m running a little late—which I don’t love—I’ll say, I’m going to have clear pathways. I’ll get there when I need to. I’ll arrive at the perfect moment. I ask for assistance. That invites positive intervention instead of spiraling into negativity, which only creates more of the same.

I’ve been in very dark places myself. This isn’t theoretical. It’s something everyone can work with through their own inner dialogue.

We don’t realize how powerful that dialogue is. It’s taken me years to retrain mine. Anyone can look in the mirror and say, I don’t look great today, or criticize themselves. But you can shift that and say, I may not be feeling my best today, but I’m still going to move forward positively.

That’s not spiritual bypassing—you’re acknowledging how you feel. But you’re also choosing not to create a domino effect of negativity.

What’s a question I didn’t ask you today that you wish I had?

Kate Hobbs: I think we covered a lot. But maybe some of the wilder experiences—those moments where things were so clearly unfolding right in front of me.

Kate Hobbs - Awakened Magazine

So share one.

Kate Hobbs: I’ll share a couple, because this is how things tend to unfold around me—very quickly.

I met someone in Egypt who later came to visit me. She walked into the guest room, and on the bed was the exact blanket she’d been planning to buy. It was discontinued. Same brand, same color. I just happened to have an extra one in my closet. That’s how the universe works around me—it’s energetic convergence, happening in real time.

Another example: I was deciding whether or not to go to Egypt with Billy Carson. It was last-minute, and I wasn’t sure I could make it work. I put the question out to the universe and said, Let’s see what happens.

At the time, I was in Toronto on a work trip. I was walking past an art gallery when I noticed a woman wearing this incredible dress. I thought, That’s a beautiful dress. A few minutes later, I walked into a random store—and there was the dress. The woman selling it started talking about Billy Carson in Egypt.

No way.

Kate Hobbs: Yes. And it didn’t stop there. On the flight back from Toronto, my Uber driver asked what I did. I explained my work, and he said, Oh my gosh—do you follow Billy Carson? And I thought, Okay. I’m going to Egypt.

When you start working with the Universe in that way, it becomes undeniable. Things respond immediately. I’ve trained myself not to judge those moments and just go with them, because they’re usually messages—either for me or for someone I’m with.

Another moment: I was in a hotel room with a friend. I was on the phone, the TV was off, and I had been watching Ancient Aliens earlier. I’ve called myself a hybrid for years without really knowing why. They started talking about AB-negative blood, and I realized, That’s my blood type.

I said out loud, Oh my God, I’m a hybrid. At that exact moment, the TV turned on by itself and said, Welcome, Kate. No one touched the remote.

At that point, you just say, Okay—this is happening. There is so much more going on than we even understand.
