Curiosity inevitably led me to write this article.

Most often, what I’m going to write about every month just sort of presents itself.

I give adequate space to let the concept unfold and play out within the experience before me.

Once the concept is at the forefront of my lens, I tend to see and experience the world through it until the article is complete.

Organically, life will package thoughts. “Noted” awarenesses will present themselves along the way.

I jot those down.

I sit down when it’s ready to pour itself through me and weave itself together.

Not this time!

Summer time, with two kids at home… I’ve felt spread thin and pulled in a hundred different directions (a lesson in itself).

This time, no clear evolving message presented itself.

I wondered, “What is the number one most asked question on the internet?”

I thought maybe I could add insight and depth to a collective query.

According to Google search data, the number one most-asked question on the internet is, “What time is it?”

A rabbit hole ensued within my mind.

The rabbit hole seemed to go on infinitely – so I’m back, and here are a handful of, hopefully, the most helpful thoughts regarding time and what time it is.

There seems to be an interwoven pattern, with slight pivots and distinctions.

“While time may seem basic, our relationship with it shapes how we experience it, along with other things.”

When our relationship with time is light, playful, and a means of synchronistic communication from the Universe, our reality is incredibly different than if our relationship with time is rigid, discipline-focused, and dictating our day.

“There is absolutely a sweet spot to this life. A space where time bends, and productivity appears superhuman.”

One aspect: we go too slow, and we feel like we can’t catch a break; we go too fast, and we start skipping imperative steps – cutting corners.

The other very important truth of timing (pace) is understanding and mastering all paces from Mach 1 to stillness, which allows us to competently run, skip, and dance the gamut.

“How we view something affects how it’s experienced.”

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard people say that they view their “job” as their entire life.

I personally view my “job’s” as a milla-fractal of my existence. It’s one out of a hundred things I do in a day. That perspective/belief changes what I’m able to see, accomplish, and open myself up to.

“Our beliefs about and around time become our experience.”

Though perspective and belief seem to be one and the same, there is a slight differentiation between the two.

A belief is more like the internal programming running, one that we have personally and firmly accepted as truth.

Perspective is more like zoomed-out visual feedback, responding to our encoded lens.

When we skip the step of upgrading our lens to incorporate a belief, “a gap to bridge” tends to appear, which can be perceived as misalignment.

However, being able to view both truths as true (or not) simultaneously is also serving.

“How we fill our day becomes our life.”

We inevitably choose our own schedule – whether we admit that we do or not.

I met this “successful” girl, who scheduled every moment of her life. She never hung out; she never just chilled. If I wanted to talk to my friend, I had to schedule a 15-minute Zoom meeting.

I knew immediately that this was not my definition of success or living.

You know what else I discovered in the cracks of that “successful” facade? She was barely making it, her relationship was on the rocks, and she felt like she was living a fake life.

I think back to when I was the most creative, alive, curious, and electric – I had minimal “have-tos”.

There is a finesse between traction-action and organic magik; we get to schedule/choose that space.

We get to set ourselves up for success every day, with our choices, perspectives, beliefs, attitude…

“Joy vs stress.” Our attitude really is everything. We can see how everything serves, and there is a silver lining in all that is: an opportunity to grow, learn, and connect (see how all is interwoven?)

Or we can choose to interpret things as “overwhelm”.

As an athlete, I see and interpret “obstacles” as playful challenges with myself. There is no judgment, no such thing as failure; simply a playful game that makes me better, more self-aware, and more informed for next time.

I choose to see my to-do list as, “watch this bi*ch!”, rather than “fu$k, this is never ending!” – it is never ending, so have fun with it – man handle that sh!t.

Do what you can do; impress yourself, give yourself grace… it all gets done inevitably.

So, what time is it?

It’s time to realize that what we think and believe is our reality – whether it’s accurate or not.

It’s time to remember our encoded truth — our Galactic and Holographic foundation.

It’s time to remember that we are continuously co-creating with Divine Cosmic Consciousness – we have the ability to stop time if we want to.
